Good Value for Your Money
The Pearl Continental Hotel is in a good location, near the train station. The rooms are clean and the quality of the hotel is quite good for the cost. We were happy with the breakfast and the service offered by the hotel staff. The only negative thing was the "business centre," which was only one computer and didn't have a working internet connection.

Comfortable stay
The hotel was comfortable and did not have any disturbance from road traffic. North Indian food in the restaurant was not upto the mark and the 2nd day's breakfast was not suitable due to too many local dishes.

Good Experience
Was a comfortable stay for the amount paid. Food was really good. Areas to check and improve - Room Cleanliness.. Providing basic complimentary stuff - Water, News Paper will be a PLUS.. Walkable distance to Ernakulam Town Station. However, there is no proper means of transport available from Hotel to parts of the city.

Terrible
I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. The hotel is situated very close to railway station. The rooms are not sound proof. Being on the main road, you can hear vehicles plying on the road throughout the night. You will never get a sound sleep due to sound of diesel auto rickshaws plying on the street. Breakfast is not that good, they serve hard idlis and puttu. The vada was fried twice in the oil. Dosa was made from old batter, sambar was recooked from previous night and thus was too thick like paste. They have old box type TV and with that remote which will never work. I complained but it was not sorted out.

An Awesome hotel in the center of the city
We were desperately looking for a one day stay in Kochi for our unplanned journey. Sat in Kochi airport, and scanned through all the hotels in Kochi, when I got to see Pearl Continental. Looking at their price listing, and the type of room, I need, I went ahead and booked the hotel. I never regret for taking such a quick decision on choosing a perfect one. The "Le Malabar" restaurant cooks delicious food. It is located in the heart of the city with good accessibility of every part of the beautiful city. If I have to go and stay in Kochi, I will never give a second though now.

hotel éloigné de la ville.
Impossibilité de se déplacer à pied. Impossibilité de téléphoner de l'Hôtel en Europe et comme il n'y a pas de téléphone à proximité, alors... .Sinon les Sinon les repas sont excellents et abordables.

Good and clean hotel
After the problems in the beginning everything was fine. Operation Manager and Hotel Manager took our complaint seriously unlike receptionist. After standing 45 mins at the reception insisting talking to senior member of staff, she finally got hold of the managers. Our room did not have any of the facilities what was advertised on the website and in our booking confirmation, ie. Wireless internet, coffee&tea making facilities, minibar/fridge. Managers sorted out the minibar and coffee making facilities quickly and in friendly manner. Wireless internet was not sorted but we were offered to use internet at the reception desk. Reception staff speak poor English. Very clean and good size rooms.

when I checked in , a decent room was allotted. however, bathroom did not have shower curtain. The broadband , though charged, was not working at all..they tried rectifying, but could not do so...I had to depend upon my own Tata Photon USB data card. Breakfast was decent, though not very good. Overall it was OK>.,

A good business hotel
I arrived at 4 PM after booking the place online and was taken to the room immediately after filling the forms. No wait, no delay at all. The room was a clean room with wardrobe, TV (not LCD as shown in display pics), and a couch/sofa. During my stay, lights went off a few times, as is the custom in Kerala, but was promptly back up soon. Full marks to them for that. Breakfast was good as well the next morning. However, what lacked was hot water in the room, proper airing of the rooms i.e. there was a strong smell of whiskey as noted by a friend which went away after running A/c for a while. When I spoke about hot water, they said it usually takes 3-5 minutes for hot water to start, but that never happened. Anyway, I had an otherwise pleasant stay despite the hiccups and was offered a 24-hour checkout which is what I needed. Would I stay again? Probably Yes.

Cleanliness, quickness and location
It was a last minute choice (booked on my way back from Kovalam) and I think my choice was absolutely correct. Firstly, I would like to to thanks Expedia for making the booking much easy. And about the Hotel - It was almost raining the moment I reached the hotel (6:30 PM), and they were ready with my room (which I was happy) but there were none (luggage boy) to help carry my luggage from reception to my room which is on the 4th Floor (but the elevator helped me.. lol). I found the room was average standard but if you want good accommodation, at a reasonable price, in the best location.. Hotel Pearl Continental is the one. The breakfasts were basic, but practicable when you consider all the surrounding restaurants. Also the prices on the Menu aren't steep. Talking about the Housekeeping, they well maintained the room, clean bed-sheet and fresh towels provided everyday. And the quickness of the restaurant services, I love it. The hotel is located near to all the major city spot. I would surely visit Hotel Pearl Continental again. :)

A hotel I would recommend in Kochi.
The hotel staff was very helpful.For the price, the room was pretty good. The price included the breakfast which served an adequate variety of choices. The hotel is especially good for families as the atmosphere is homely.Service was okay. Location was also okay as buses were easily available for traveling short distances. On the whole the stay was very satisfactory.

The Hotel Pearl Continental, Cochin
This is a good hotel from the angle of budget. The food quality is average, though and can be improved. The Hotel’s location is good but there are no other amenities like swimming pool, indoor games, wifi, lounge etc. Okay for short term budget travelers.

Overall a good hotel. Courteous staff. Food is good. It's in a good location, very near to Ernakulum Town Station. 5Km from Ernakulum Jn. 30 Kms from Airport. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Good Hotel
After arriving at midnight in the hotel, it was good to be around honest and friendly staff, everything was good except the location which was quite noisy, but in India unless you goto a 5 star esxclusive hotel, its the same deal outside. The food was quite the same as other 3 star hotels, except the south indian dish'es were quite good, the driver the hotel staff set was also good.

Hotel Pearl Continental too far from town centre
The hotel staff did not give good customer service, not exactly rude but had a non-care attitude. It did not help that there was a function at the hotel when we were there, nor that the hotel organised a taxi to the next hotel (walking distance !) but sent the driver on a huge trip (which we paid for). There are better hotels in the centre of Cochin and at the same price, go there.

Cheap-Good location-Friendly staff hotel in Cochi
This hotel is placed about 10 min from Main Ferry station with a rickchaw and it is cheap. For a few rupee the ferry takes you out to the outer islands. Many chopping districts are within 5-10 minutes with rickchaw and there are many restaurants within 5 minutes of walkingdistance. The hotel gave us standard rooms when check in despite that I payed for suite and blamed hotels.com for the doubble booking but we got the right rooms the second day. Good staff at the hotel that helped us with arranging cab to go to waterfalls etc.

Pearl hotel in cochin
I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. This mainly because I had a very spacious ac room. I dont know what non-ac rooms are like, so I cant say. I will go again.

Pearl Continental - Good hotel in decent location
This hotel was very pleasant. The room was clean and fairly big, the reception staff were helpful and the breakfast was good. It was 50 rupee to the main ferry jetty by auto rickshaw and about 700 rupee to the airport in ac taxi.
