This property is somewhere I would stay, if nothing else was available. You could see in the bathroom in certain areas, they had painted over black mold. The carpets were filthy. There were four in our party, only 2 bath towels and hand towels were in the room. Had to walk up and ask for more towels and pillows. Only one pillow per person, and they were flat. Will not stay there again. It was very noisy outside with people walking around shouting at one another.

This property had some obvious age. The room showed many signs of damage (marks on ceiling, hole in ceiling in bathroom stuffed with tp, animal hair of some sort on the chair, white stain on ottoman, room door didn’t shut well an appeared it had been bashed in). The comforters were clean and white. The linens appeared mostly clean. The room could have used a good dusting. However the bed seemed like it slanted down towards the head of the bed making a good night sleep not so easy. Not necessarily a good value for the money, but mid-level for Helen (and by far not the worst place we have stayed in Helen).

The location was ideal and the room was clean. Unfortunately we were ravaged by bed bugs in our room. I have over 20 bites along my arms, neck, face, and legs. Also a few bites on my torso.

The phone jack in our room was broken, and the shower head was not sealed properly and sprayed water when we were showering. Additionally, the water pressure in the sink was terrible.

We will never stay there again ! Trash was piled up all along the building … drinks or possible vomit discolored the building ! We had to hold our breath to get to the room . Had my 85 year old father in law that is on a Walker , I asked where the elevator is and the staff said there isn’t one what ? They couldn’t accommodate us on a ground floor . Terrible experience

Even tho this room was in a good location, walking distance to downtown, The room was outdated and dirty. Chipped paint and plaster on walls and ceiling. Tub was dirty and the drain backed up when in use. In the morning I stripped the sheets and the mattress protector was stained and so disgusting. I instantly went down to the office to complain and request my money back!

We got there at 3:55 and we weren't allow to check in. This property doesn't let you check in before 4 pm. You will need to wait. The staff is the most unfriendly staff I have met in all my stays ever. They don't service your room until you leave, they don't clean your room correctly. I found a dirty towel behind tge door, socks in the closet and when i expressed my concern the staff was very unconcerned. Will never stay in this chain again. Breakfast is cold and very pathetic.

I paid over $600 for 2 nights per reservation. I did not get to see the room before the money was taken out of my account . The sheets on both beds were stained and full of someone's hair. Curtains stained from something. Mold in the bathroom. Bathroom mirror not cleaned . Toilet did not flush good. Handle to the deck wouldn't lock correctly. When you pay the money i paid you expect things to be alot better. Will mot stay there again

Horrible conditions. Very unkept. Dirty pillows, dirty towels, bath skirt full of mold. The property appearance is bad. There is bottles of beer and sodas all over the premises. The trash bins outside full to the top with bags on the floor for days. Definitely DO NOT reccomend.

Absolutely a nightmare!
This place has roaches. Totally disgustingly dirty. Bathroom had broken tiles you can cut your feet on. Smelly like and old moldy basement. Staff are rude. Also they rush you out they'll start banging on your door at 930am, while checkout isn't until 11am.

To call this place a dump would an insult to dumps. Staff had terrible attitudes, everything in room was 5 minutes from falling apart, tv worked intermittently, and the smell. Could not identify the smell. Coffee makwr in room, but no cups. Literally worst place i have ever stayed

shabby and no pool!
We booked a trip for us and our 4 month old over July 4th weekend. We chose this hotel because it was affordable, looked nice in the pics, had a breakfast included, and the pics showed a really nice pool. BUT... when we got there, the whole place was shabby and unkempt. The pool was shut down with weeds and trash all over, but we were told it just got shut down "last week" (yeah, right, you could tell it'd been empty for months!!) Our room had a horrendously uncomfortable bed with a lumpy, caved in mattress and a blanket that seemed to be almost falling apart. There was trash behind the bed and other hidden areas, along with finding multiple items from previous occupants in drawers. The fridge barely worked and the shower was like warm pee.... very, very disappointed.

terrible service. The room was very dirty, the table lamps were not vacuumed with hair, the bathtub did not work, the shower did not work, there were no towels in the bathroom. I called to have them send me to the manager and they never got back to me. I am very dissatisfied. For the price it is very expensive. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. The hotel is very dirty in the hallways. No maintenance
