Sehr grosse anlage, annonym, zimmer war gut.frühstück war mäßig.frühstücksraum machte einen schmuddeligen eindruck. Sonst zentral gelegen, man konnte fussläufig lokale zum essen erreichen.

Other than getting a totally different room than what we had booked, it was a nice and clean accommodation. Our room issue was eventually resolved, and we were satisfied with the prompt and courteous attention by staff. Breakfast was nice- no complaints. Lovely location close to good restaurants.

Very disappointing stay
I wonder if there are two sides to Brookes Hill Suites; one more modern and one old and dilapidated. Nothing else could explain the discrepancy between what I had read and what we experienced. Despite a confirmation from our online booking service, the Reception had no record of our booking. Our room was old and the kettle did not work. The door showed evidence of having been forced open. This was not a happy overnight stay. The redeeming factor was being able to walk to a nearby restaurant for dinner.

Brooks Hill Suites - excellent 3 star
For a three star hotel, you cannot get any better. The resort is not new but it is maintained, clean and off a good standard. Staff were friendly, view from the room was great and location made it a prime choice.

Brooke's Hill
Staff very friendly, however no lift, room very clean, we had an excellent sea view. Ideal for short or long stays. Would prefer a flatsheet as duvet is too hot in summer and teperature with aircon might need a light covering. Noisy if you forget the windows open. Windows soundproof. Room had a balcony.

Still a preferred choice for business travel
A great place to stay at while on business, affordable, good breakfast, wifi access, comfortable and clean. Brookes Hill Suites has become one of my preferred destinations that I have used several times now

Simply awful.
Do not be misled, this hotel received a recent coat of paint but the rest is just old and rotting.

Cheap and cheerful
A clean and acceptable suite with a kitchenette although no washing up liquid was provided. The room did the job although the WiFi we were promised did not work for our entire stay despite numerous attempts by reception to reset the router.

Quick stop over
We used this as a stop over after the over night flight before heading off to safari/the garden route and being only a 10 min drive from the airport it was ideal for that purpose. It was clean, comfortable and good value. The breakfast was also good. There are a few restaurants next door and a nice beach side cafe a shot walk away.

The hotel bedrooms were looking very tired, with some internal walls in cupboards loose. No kettle in the room and we asked reception three times for a kettle. The breakfast room was badly laid out and at least one of the female waitresses was very very slow, to offer coffee, clean dirty tables or even appear to care about anything Breakfast quality was basic, with little quality or variety The evening reception staff could benefit from a charm school class as I asked at 21:45 one evening if there was a bar open in the hotel and was told:- “its shut, closes at 22:00 but as it was empty closed it” turn and walk away

God beliggenhed og dejlige værelser med altan
Vi havde blot en overnatning - men var fuld ud tilfredse. Lidt ældre hotel, men stadig en god oplevelse, der var rent og service i receptionen var i top. Ligger lige ved stranden og alle restauranterne, samt stadig tæt på lufthavnen. Så kun smileys fra os ;o)

Relaxing on the shore
While we stayed at Brooks Hill Suites we were surrounded by pleasant, helpful staff. We found the rooms clean and comfortable. The view was amazing. We were walking distance from a lot of the major attractions in that area.

Väldigt nära flygplatsen i PE
Hotellet var mycket stort, fint (inte jättemodernt inne i rummen) och fint pool område men industrihamnen förstörde lite av utsikten. Frukosten helt ok. Fanns inte gratis internet. Kort bilsträcka till både Lion park och Kragga Kamma Game Park (ett måste när ni åker till PE). Också väldigt nära flygplatsen, tog ca 7min med bil. Vi var här i nov 2012.

Great view
It was easy to park in the secure lot and we had a great view of the beach. The boardwalk is an easy 10-15 min walk.

My PE Travel
Upon arrival, the room I was assigned had been burglarized. The TV was an old fashion type (not as advertised). Very few channels to be international. The dinning facility was not the cleanest, as the cook looked dirty and touched everything with his bare hands regardless where he had just came from or touching.

Room for improvement
The aircon didn't work properly which meant pretty much a sleepless night. When I mentioned that on checkout (only stayed for one night) all we got was Sorry. Apart from that reception staff were sufficiently helpful. The hot water was luke warm. Just about Ok for a night stopover.

Realmente espectacular, todos muy atentos con los servicios del hotel y la relación con las personas; también dispuestos a solucionar cualquier situación que se presente. En cuanto a la hubicación del hotel, es excepcional, sería como para Buenos Aires "la Recoleta", todo esta cerca y hay un complejo que se esta reciclando muy próximo al hotel donde esta el Casino, restaurantes, shoping, anfiteatro, etc. en sintesis si tu decisión es un a Port Elizabeth andá a este hotel

A mazing Hotel, good location and security
Difficult to find your room or reception or the breafast room due to poor signing. A bit like going around a maze without help! Breakfast verry poor.

Great location but dirty rooms
Great location and wonderful views towards the ocean from our room. However, we had to change our room twice due to its unclean look. The towels, sheets carpet and sofas had stains in all three of them. The day staff was helpful, however the evening staff on duty, as well as the breakfast attendants did not seem to care or know much. The hotel has beautiful landscaping and a pretty nice pool.

The location is central. The hotel is average. Found the not much variety for breakfast buffet. Did not have any vegetarian options or seperated the meat from the eggs. The reception staff were friendly. As we had a rental car we found that we struggle to find parking.

Standard place
There is nothing special about the hotel and room - it is kind of standard tourist hotel. Nice for a stop on the way further. Swimming pool with ocean view is nice, but this is probably the only attraction. Guarded parking is provided - an extra necessity for people driving in SA.
