I should say the overall stay was not bad but the first impression was awful.
I checked in on 12/31 around 6:30 pm and there were two front staff, a male and a female.
I was helped by a female staff and she was the rudest staff I have ever met in any hotel in any country.
She barely met my eyes nor smiled at all when she talked so I thought what an 'attitude', but that's okay.
But when she deliberately ignored my small talk, I felt very embarrassed and offended. (She literally did not respond to what I said)
Professionally, she did not perform well, either.
She did not inform me anything about the additional parking lot so first, I had to find it myself and noticed that I didn't know the passcode since she did not mention anything, and second, I had to wait there helplessly until my husband asked her and let me know the passcode.
My husband told me that he was also offended by her tone on the phone.
She also failed to inform us about basic amenities like wifi and a swimming pool so my husband and I had to figure it out by ourselves. It was not a difficult job but this was the first time I was not informed about those things at the hotel.
It was definitely below expectation. I get better service even in inns.
We went there to have a fabulous New Year's Eve but she ruined it from the first step.
I hope this will not happen again not only to me but also to any other guests. Guests deserve better than this.
