Comfortable and friendly
Stay was very good, room clean and tidy, very comfortable stay. Breakfast good and Denise and Debbie very friendly. Had an enjoyable stay which made for good break away.

Another Lovely Stay
Debbie and Denise are great hosts and the Sandpiper is very clean & comfortable. We stayed there last year and have booked to return later this year too

Upon arrival warm and friendly greeting, reception has an honesty bar with alcoholic drinks,water,soft drinks, chocolate, crisps, nibbles etc. once booked in shown to room with room facilities explained.Room very clean and tidy, en suite with toilet, sink and shower. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar, sweeteners, hot chocolate and biscuits on tray all refreshed daily, daily housekeeping, Wi-Fi and TV in room. Breakfast is pre ordered with a good range of options well cooked/prepared and presented. Choice of breakfast at 08:30 or 09:00 plenty of tea and coffee available. The building is well presented we were in room six had three plain walls and a feature wall which had birds of paradise flowers in the pattern, this was picked up by two artificial bird of paradise plants placed on a wall picking up the pattern of the feature wall (shows thought gone into decoration), each room is decorated in a different style. Main staircase to bedrooms was immaculate, there was a bar on the lower level but we did not use this, car parking on site for about six vehicles. The hosts could not have been any more polite nor attentive and clearly enjoy what they are doing and have achieved. Would definitely return again

Amazing stay, great food and the best hospitality.
Amazing stay from start to finish. We had a family room which was a great size. On our first night we enjoyed a drink from the bar whilst we sat in the garden and the kids were entertained by Denise. 😍 Hospitality was amazing. Breakfast was great. Thank you so much for a lovely stay, we would definetly return and would highly recommend.

Great Stay
Recently stayed 5 nights at the Sandpiper Guest House. We really enjoyed our stay and were very pleased with the cleanliness and overall general standard of the premises. Debbie and Denise are wonderful hosts and their warmth and friendliness greatly contributed to the enjoyment of our stay. Can't wait to return!

Great location in Torquay.
Great hosts, excellent location. Just what we needed for a few nights away in Torquay. The family room was well thought out with the single beds in the alcoves. Some areas are a little tired but the homeliness over came this. Russ and Helen were very attentive. Breakfast was lovely and great choice. All in all a great stay.

Excellent guest house in a quiet area.

Super Stay
We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Helen and Russell make you most welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Our room although small, was comfortable and spotless. Complimentary tea tray replenished daily. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice. The hotel is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac within a 10/15 minute walk from the busy sea front. It is also within walking distance of Cockington. We would thoroughly recommend.

Fantastically well run hotel, owned by a lovely family who couldn't do enough for you. There was a wonderful balance of feeling welcomed into their family abode and having plenty of space and freedom to do as you pleased

A wonderful B and B, highly recommended.
A beautifully decorated room and bathroom. We have never seen anything that clean. Lovely staff/owners. A really good breakfast, including loads of fresh fruit. We would definitely stay there again

Lovely place to stay
We had a family room on the top floor and it was wonderful. We have two children and they had their own beds on each side of the room which they loved because the beds were in hidden areas of the room which meant they could have their own space. Shower and toilet room was bright and beautiful and very up to date. Torquay is a really lovely place the guest house is only 10 min walk to the bay and next time I visit I will definitely come back to stay there. The family are lovely and made us feel very welcome. What a lovely place to end the day! The food is great and they even have their own bar downstairs. Big thanks from all of us, we really enjoyed our stay

great location
The Sandpiper is in a great location for easy access to Torquay. The rooms are spotless and very well equipped. Beds very comfy and ample hot water. Breakfast cater for all tastes and nothing is too much trouble for your friendly hosts. Would pick this hotel again if returning to Torquay.

un happy holiday stay
the rooms were very small, food was very basic and the staff were very rude and never smiled , we was based up in basement not kind of room i would pay the price i did not very appealing wall paper coming off i would not class it 4 star at all

Liebevoll eingerichtetes B&B - Empfehlenswert!
Wir wurden super nett vom freundlichen Inhaber empfangen. Unser Zimmer war mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und hatte einen grandiosen Ausblick über die Dächer von Torquay. Das Boxspringbett war super bequem. Außerdem gibt es einen Schreibtisch mit Stuhl, einen Wasserkocher mit Tees und Schokolade, eine Digitaluhr und einen Flat-TV. Alles machte einen sehr hochwertigen und gepflegten Eindruck. Dieses B&B hat uns auf der ganzen Südengland-Reise am besten gefallen. Es sind Parkplätze und WLAN verfügbar. Es gibt eine Kellerbar, wo man auch essen kann. Bei vorheriger Anmeldung zaubert der Herr des Hauses sogar ein ganzes Menü. Das Frühstück war super lecker.

Statig herenhuis in een wijk met veel soortgelijke huizen en -voorzieningen. Veel -vooral Engelse- toeristen. Erg aardige ontvangst door de eigenaar, die zeer zijn best doet om het de gaten naar de zin te maken.
