Beautiful spot on the beach,… no tourist gimmicks. Great area for relaxation, walking the beach and getting lost in the waves. Good seafood nearby if you look. Hotel gets battered by constant wind and it shows, but warm, as clean as possible and dry in the rooms. Well worn in some areas. Full kitchen in each unit is great. Front desk was not tracking my reservation as pre paid which is anxiety inducing

This was an amazing hotel. Older property so things are dated but we didn’t come to stay in the hotel all day. It was very clean. The only issue that we had was that 2 nights in a row we had to have security let us in our room because the keys stopped working. Our stay had always been fixed so there was no reason for our keys to keep expiring. Since we were there for vacation, both nights we got home after midnight so that was very inconvenient. I would stay there again, however as I think this was a front desk issue versus the entire hotel.

The view is really what your paying for. Its also nice they have "adult only" from 10-midnight for the hottub area. The only downfall was the matress in our room was awful. It needs to be retired and replaced. But, this place is great. You're RIGHT on the beach.

From waking and rising out of our cozy beds rested and ready to explore the beach, to our sand labored, shell hunting steps working up an appetite for crispy fish and chips from the onsite deli, to sipping wine on the balcony and watching the sun set on the ocean; our stay at Driftwood Shores was the ultimate Oregon Coast experience.

Loved how easy it was to get to the beach! My husband and i stayed here for one night for our anniversary, and it truly was divine. We got to choose which for we wanted, and had the most glorious view of the ocean. Let the door open at night so e could sleep to the sound of the waves. So serene. Really enjoyed seeing families that were so happy, playful pups too! Were coming back soon with our dog, fur sure. Staff was friendly, accommodating. Parking was easy, but seemed to fill up quickly. We thought the menu prices at the attached diner/cafe was a little high, so we went to a nearby place called Mari's Kitchen - WOO yummy food!! This place was perfect. Thank you!

The fire alarm was malfunctioning. Alert sounded to evacuate the building multiple times after 10 pm. When talking to the staff they were not helpful. Very frustrating.

The property was overly priced! Upon arrival staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. With that being said the room had a foul odor, gapping hole around the door, which allowed a lot of light as well sound. We could hear EVERYTHING in the room. If someone was walking you could hear it loudly in the room. The worst part is; every single door that was shut was heard very loudly in our room. The neighbors kept slamming their door. If you don’t want any sleep, I’d suggest staying here. Being we paid over $200 to stay here is disappointing.

Room and view was great, staff was great and accommodating. The neighbors fighting and yelling at each other constantly however made the stay pretty unpleasant. No fault to the facility on that matter, I will stay again!

This is always a wonderful stay, mainly based on location and room cleanliness. Hotel staff are usually very friendly and accommodating also. One problem we had this year was the chlorine in the air at the indoor pool was hazardous to breathe the night of our stay and had people vomiting. We were pretty disappointed because this was the biggest thing our kids were looking forward to.

Each room would have a good view of the ocean but the entire place needs maintenance everywhere !!!! Electrical, elevators, drywall and painting work needed all over the place !!! Great beach access!!
