This hotel is very expensive for such a basic hotel. The bar was closed and we had to get drinks from the restaurant on the top floor. The staff are not very friendly apart from one blonde girl in the restaurant.

I booked two days before arrival as a solo traveller. I received an email the morning of arrival to tell me that the leisure Centre wasn't open. I called them to be told that it was closed , probably for the duration of my two night stay. I explained that I was unhappy with this and only booked because I wanted to use the pool etc. Eventually they made enquiries and organised a complimentary use of the pool in another hotel. However I had to book a time and it was only available until 6.30 pm..I would have liked to have use in the evening. The only option open to me was to use it the following morning until lunchtime, as it closed for lunch. This conversation was going on as I was travelling to the hotel. They upgraded me to a suite, which was nice. Breakfast was not included in my package. I ordered breakfast , room service, on my last day and as there was no pen in the room, I had to use my lipstick to mark what I wanted on the list. I didn't ask for a full Irish breakfast but I got one. And was asked to pay for it on the spot!! There was no butter or jam with the breakfast tray. And when it did arrive I was asked to pay again! Before leaving I paid for a full Irish breakfast as I was told that it was what I got! I arrived at the hotel feeling very annoyed and left feeling the same way. Very disappointed with my stay and would recommend calling before you book to ensure that facilities are available as they do not update their website.

Enjoyed a stay at hotel for 2nights , staff frendily and helpfu. Comfortable room and sleep, good breakfast and food at dinner was lovely. Hotel decor very nice and stylish as my visit was just after new year got to see the many beautiful Christmas trees on show. Would definitely return.

Nice hotel, maybe in need of some TLC but is fine… very convenient to get to and get away from but a bit out of town when it comes to accessing bars and restaurants

Not worth the money.
Very disappointing stay overall. Both nights we stayed there were weddings on which 1st night went on til after 12. Music thumping through the floor and people out in the smoking area shouting. 2nd night was the worst music went on until after 2 am absolute disgrace for a family hotel. People out shouting and fighting in the smoking courtyard. Ended up calling to speak to the manager who said he would ask for the noise to be brought down and people to use other smoking area. Lasted about 30 mins and was back as worse. Almost 3am going to sleep when the noise finally settled. Hallway doors banging non stop. Breakfast area is disaster air conditioning kept on and breakfast goes freezing cold. Pool is filthy and no shallow area or kids area. The dome play centre is good ans has great deals for familes. Overall hotel could do with some big reservations would not rate it four stars by no account. The food was fabulous on the 4th floor restaurant 3 course meal i think 30 euro and a great kids menu. Food was outstanding there, but bar menu is very overpriced and not worth it. This was our 2nd time here in a few years and was let down big time. Definitely will not be returning. Management i will say are great help and do try there best. But hotel overall needs big changes.

Stayed here for 2 nights and we were asked if we would like a quiet room for our stay( which worried me they would be noisey) staff memeber assured us we would be put in an end of corridor quiet room. On arrival our room was not that at all. We were right above the band who may as well have been playing in our bathroom and above the smoking area so no chance of early quiet night. When they finished the noise from the generator at the warehouse across the road became apparent and went on all night long. At 7am we decided we were going to miss the event we had come for as so tired. We decided to go later, so put the do not disturb on the door, which was pointless as room door was knocked anyway and maids sounded like they were removating the rooms rather than cleaning. So if your looking for sleep avoid otherwise facilities good enough.

Good and bad
Nice rooms and good breakfast. Bistro food is very poor, pool changing rooms are filthy looking. Advertised as family hotel and would have thought they were more accepting of children but felt my kids were in the way which is not what you want obviously.

The hotel was very clean. It was a shame the main restaurant was closed because the main bar food offering was quite basic. The bar came across has rather soulless and a few plants etc… could improve the ambience. Staff were very friendly
