아주 좋습니다.
호텔 본관에서 도보 3분 거리의 아파트에서 1박을 했습니다. 좋은 점은 주차장이 있고 방이 2개인데 각각 화장실 사워시설이 있는 점 입니다. 그리고 거실도 매우 넓습니다. 며칠 더 있고 싶은 곳 입니다. 체스터가 워낙 좁은 곳이라 중심지도 아주 가깝습니다.

The ambience at Oddfellows is fabulous, I loved the decor, the cocktails are lovely, all staff helpful and professional, I stayed in a suite and it was lovely, the pillows were a bit lumpy and the lighting was hit and miss but apart from that all great.

Very spacious apartment, perfect central location for shopping and eating out. Parking actually at the apartment which is very convenient! Just a few small maintenance jobs required to give it a 5* rating.

Reception staff were friendly and professional. The attic room was poorly lit. The room was advertised as having grab bars in the shower and there weren’t any. The skylight blind kept jamming and it was the only source of daylight. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant, however the eggs for breakfast were raw and cold. The egg whites were completely runny. The Eggs Benedict that my husband had was cooked, but it was cold. We were the only guests in the breakfast room so they didn’t have anyone else to cook meals for. We wouldn’t stay there again.

Hotel could do SO much better
Positives 1st: The hotel is in a great location A quirky, nicely presented hotel with the public areas having a trendy vibe, despie the period setting... birthday treat & a desert with greeting was in room. Negatives - steep flight of stairs to the reception so definately not one to consider if you have mobility difficultues... reception staff pleasant, but we were given very little basic info, wifi code not provided anywhere & at no point were we told the hotel doors would be locked at 10pm (stood like fools knocking on the door & ringing bell to be let back in, it was a cold night & 10pm is hardly late - felt like we had disturbed the overworked night receptionist who had been elsewhere in the building!) The room itself on 1st glance was pleasant, but on closer indpection it was in need of attention. Shower cubicle was next to bed and glass so you could see other half showering, using loo etc from the bedroom... not problem, we are married, however, there are large, tongue in cheek signs in the bathroom insisting you shut the door to the shower as they would shampoo the carpet, so uou didnt need to... this would have been funny had the glass shower cubicle not leaked from every seal, meaning the carpet in the bedroom was rotten and looked disgusting. The bed itself was super, super soft, let fown im afraid by dome very questionable stains on the high quality velvet throw pillows..plowsmade staff aware. Sunday night so room cheaper than usual but still expected better

Xmas break
Lovely, quirky hotel in prime location. Our penthouse room was clean with a huge comfy bed, great bed linen, fluffy tiwels and dressing gowns. We loved the fact that the bedroom was 'upstairs' but this may not be great for older people or less mobile. The whole hotel has so mych attentiin to detail. We parked offsite at the Grosvenor Shopping centre a 4 min walk away. Will def stay here again when in chester.

Excellent hotel. Rooms are great. Everything is clean. No complaints. The only issue we had was that we weren’t aware when booking the dinner, bed and breakfast was the the dinner was only for the festive menu and not the general menu. This didn’t spoil our break but it would have been useful to be aware of this at the time of booking. Other than that it was a good experience.

This hotel was so much more beautiful than we ever expected, there is quirky and charming designs throughout. The rooms are cosy and stunning, the service we had was great. We will definitely be back in the future

Slightly disappointed , room was tiny and had a roll top bath right at the door . Just wasn’t as luxurious as I’d expected for the value of the room . Dinner was lovely but we were the only ones in the dining room , staff were friendly but didn’t reflect 4 star I felt . Wasn’t an unpleasant stay but nothing special .

Lovely stay
Really enjoyed the stay. Modern but traditional hotel. Really comfortable. Huge room. Not a fan of the glass door bathroom but everything else was great. Also confusing about what breakfast you get if you include in the booking as the price doesn't match the menu. Location is perfect.

We loved staying here, nearly booked another hotel that ive been to before but decided to have a change. Im so glad I did. Hotel is in an excellent place to access bars and restaurants. We parked easily in a nearby car park. The hotel was clean and very unique. The breakfast was lovely, good selection and fresh to order. My husband coeliac and this was well accomodated for. Will certainly revisit for sure 😀

Quirky hotel with loads of charm, and very hospitable staff. Only challenge is if you're in the attic rooms and taller than 4'1" when trying to use the loo!

Great Stay
Had a great stay. We stayed in the Odd fellows apartments, number 3.The rooms are very large. Open plan lounge, dinning and kitchen. Both bedrooms are ensuite one with a bath with shower over and the other with a modern shower cubicle. All kitchen essentials are there, with a utility room with freezer, washing machine, iron and ironing board. The kitchen had a coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, oven and hob. Dining table and 4 chairs. The lounge had a sofa and 2 chairs, a large TV with Netflix available. Each of the 5 apartments have their own parking space. The apartments are a 5 minute walk to the centre and the river is a stones throw away. We had dinner at the hotel on Thursday evening it was fabulous!!!! Hotel staff we're very friendly and helpful 😄

So-so
Receptionist pleasant but not much information given on check in. Room lovely but not suited for family, no space for extra bed so was in the way. Extra bed not at all suitable for 12 year old girl. More like a folding sun bed with very thin mattress. Hotel hosting a wedding, baby shower and birthday party so bar very busy. Woken at 2:30am by other guests leaving wedding. Aircon too noisy to sleep with running, kept banging every 10 mins or so. Wasn’t offered breakfast, ate elsewhere. Overall a little disappointing for the £240 cost of the room.
