Lovely boutique hotel just a 10 minute walk from the city center. Rooms are big and the bathroom was large and gorgeous. Be sure to enjoy the large soaking tub! Service was wonderful. As a boutique hotel - you can tell the staff are “jack of all trades” and will do anything to make your stay pleasant. We ate dinner at the R bar one night and the food was delicious. The only issues we had was our room was incredibly warm our last night and when we plugged in our fan it was broken. Also-the fridge in our mini bar was not working so all the beverages were warm. We did not report this to management- If we would when I know they would have fixed it. If you are driving in- there is a small car park adjacent to the hotel and is incredibly easy to get in and out of. Overall would stay here again!

We booked to stay at this hotel as it was part of the Luxury Scotland Hotel Group, however the Rockpool Reserve Hotel is certainly not a 5 star luxury hotel. Upon checking in we were taken down 2 flights of stairs and let into a room next to the kitchen.

The river is nice. I would add benches for people who woukd like to sit and watch the falls.

The hotel was good. The employees were great. From check-in to breakfast they were all kind and always looking to extend themselves to their best abilities. The down side was, the air conditioning unit was broken and the bathroom fan didn't clear the air at all, so after a shower the whole room was humid and damp. We were told to open the window however the neighborhood smelt of burning rubber and it was an irritant in the throat. They advertise as a 5 star hotel but were unable to get a service engineer to address the issue for our entire Friday-Sunday stay.

A real gem of a hotel in a very central location, but quiet. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff and service excellent. We also had dinner in the restauarant which is highly recommended. This is our second visit and we'll certainly be back!

Great service and particularly the restaurant and bar. The bar woman did our drinks superbly and the restaurant menu was excellent.

ROCPool - ok experience
Yes, it’s a boutique hotel (only 11 rooms) with upscale touches, but not our favorite on our recent trip to Scotland. Staff is friendly, rooms are quirky and definitely the photos and room categories don’t fully match. We had a room category called the decadent room and the photos were only for 1 of the decadent rooms, the others were different - our was not the room we thought it would be so was a bit disappointing. Hotel is close to the road, but road noise was ok. Bar open late, drinks reasonable priced. Be warned, if you and your partner are not used to seeing each other on the toilet, the bathroom doors are only partially frosted - your call.

Fabulous hotel and ticks all the boxes you need. Despite staying at Xmas, hotel was busy and service and food was bang on the money! Excited to book again!

Overall the hotel was good. Dinner was amazing. The room we stayed in No 7 in what appeared to be the basement had a direction sign over the door that was on all night and lit up the room which meant I had very little sleep so I can't give 5*

This is a real gem of a hotel , in a great location. Our room was spacious and very comfortable and quiet. The staff were excellent . Would thoroughly recommend .

Inverness stay
Inverness isn’t a cheap place to stay but I feel this venue, while delivering a great service, is overpriced. For the money you expect everything to be perfect which is why I feel the need to be critical. The listing states robes are available - they’re not - and small things like charging for the small packets of biscuits in the room (I’ve never seen that in any hotel I’ve stayed in). Also toiletries weren’t replaced. That’s not to say there aren’t great things about it: the staff are very attentive and the breakfast is tasty.

The staff was very rude including the manager. We needed non feather pillows which they didnt have other than very old foam pillow that were hard and falling apart. Our toilet did not work and we dealt with overflow issues for two days before they finally responded. Far from a five star property.

Best stay we’ve ever had. Incredible service.
Incredible service. Everything taken care of and more than we’ve expected. Great, friendly staff that upgraded our room and treated our daughter and our family super nicely. Breakfast is incredible, try the Arnold Bennet.

Best hotel we have ever stayed in
Our stay was amazing, the staff go above and beyond, always greeted us with a friendly welcome, asking if we had been anywhere nice, cpuldnt do enough for you, but not in an over the top way, the service was astounding, from the housekeeping, to the food to the reception, we have stayed in hundreds of hotels, and this was by far the best by miles, thank you all so so much

Great choice in Inverness
Excellent stay- room was very comfortable with large clean en-suite bathroom. Dinner was especially good very well presented and delicious. Breakfast was good too. Staff were very efficient and courteous and helpful.

Outstanding Service
Absolutely fabulous. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable and the facilities fantastic, the bar and restaurant served high end food and drink. Aside from all that, what made the stay particularly special was the people working there. Their service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Probably the best team we have had the pleasure of being looked after by! Thank you.
