The property was clean and organized for check in. Great ammenities in room lg frig & microwave. The only issue was the neighboring houses behind the hotel kept firing off loud banging fireworks till 1 am. Finally alot of people at the hotel went outside to yell over the wall to knock it off or calling police!

BECAREFUL..They give you a breakfast bag as if it were donated. When I opened it, it had mold! My daughter had already eaten some when I noticed. She had a stomach ache for two days!

Could hear fire works while trying to sleep, the carpet in our room was all bumpy. And felt dirty. The room smelled muggy. Wasn’t too happy.

I was not impressed at all. The room had stains on the bed skirt that had been there for a while. The floor was dirty in the room and had an odor. They said they offered breakfast and pictures on the website showed a full breakfast area. Once we got there we found out breakfast was a muffin in a paper bag. The parking lot was very noisy with people coming and going as well as riding skateboards through the hallway. I would never stay here again!!!

The room was just OK, certainly not worth the price tag of $200 per night. The hotel seemed to be super water conservation conscious, however, the toilet had a bad seal in the tank and ran the entire time. I’m guessing in the two day we were there, hundreds of gallons of water was lost.

A great place to stay with a great price
I was so happy as to how clean and comfortable our room was. Such friendly workers. If I’m in the area again. I will definitely stay there.

Uncomfortable
The first room I received reeked of cigarettes I couldn’t even bare it with my mask on. I had to request a new room. Night staff got me a new room that smelled better but condition was poor. There was a hole and stains on the wall. Stained sink and toilet. Both beds had marks on the linen and one bed had hair on it so I know it wasn’t cleaned very well. Nothing looked wiped down and next day I saw food crumbs on the floor by the sink. I felt uncomfortable for these reasons and for $285 for a two night stay. It is way overpriced for such a rundown place. I should’ve paid a bit more to stay at ayres in FV. Cleanest hotel in OC I’ve stayed at.

Breakfast was not worthy of being called breakfast. The food was a tiny frozen burrito, a half cup of juice and a small muffin. The toilet chain was too long so the toilet wouldn't flush, the TV remotes didn't work until I reprogrammed them both, the AC unit only cooled the front section, not the area where the beds were and the bathroom door knob was installed wrong such that it didn't turn properly.

Would have been better off sleeping in my car! Ugh. The mattress may as well have been picked up at a garbage dump and covered with a sheet. Halfway down it dipped down at least 6 inches, so the lower half of my body was lower than the rest. Not very restful sleep! The broken springs sang a song with every move. The area was full of vape shops, adult stores and the elevator had a homeless man sleeping inside of it. Keep on moving…..don’t stop.

Organic alarm clock.
The neighbourhood is less than desirable. Shortly before 6am, there is a rooster next door that crows non-stop until late afternoon. Not the wake up call we were hoping for.

Comfortable Stay
The stay was good, place was clean and fairly quiet but it is on a main road. No free continental breakfast during my stay at end of Feb 2/22 It was approximately 7 miles from the heart of the Beach, thought it was much closer. Would definitely liked thicker blankets but that's personal opinion but the heater worked great!!

Traveled 12 hours and check in time was not until 4 p.m. the gentleman at the front desk was kind enough to let us check in earlier than that. Very close to Huntington Beach and parking at the beach was only about $2.50 an hour. The hotel was nice and clean. Thank you

Overall the room wasn’t terrible, but the bathroom had a huge crack in the ceiling in the bathroom and was clearly due to water damage. Made the whole room smell like mildew/mold the smell extremely pungent.

Clean, safe & convenient to fwy & beach
Stayed here past 3 years for surf city marathon. No frills motel on Beach Blvd near shopping & dining. About 4 miles from beach. Spacious rooms, clean, adequate parking. HD TV with standard cable channels.

Doable but not the best
Customer service was excellent, front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating. Location was convenient. Rooms were very run down and bathrooms desperately needed updating; paint was peeling and there were multiple signs of water/mold damage. Bedding was very thin and didn’t keep us very warm at night. Fine for one night but we wouldn't stay longer than that.

Staff was great. Breakfast was a grab and go. Terrible burrito. No coffee in lobby. Just little packs in room. Two small bath towels. Bed was great and ac was strong. Walls must be thick cause very quiet.
