Did a great job at making the pool/hot tub/ firepit area a really nice ,fun area. Fun tropical looking area nicely layed out in a private space with a pool table and gym and breakfast area. Very pleasant area. And the room we had, a king size, was clean and nicely dnne

The hotel is clean, but the room cleaning is not on a scheduled routine, so you have to go find towels and more coffee.

Pretty good but musty
Updated room. Comfy bed. Strong musty smell that may be unavoidable in Humboldt County with the constant rain and fog.

Awesome! Exceeded expectations.
This hotel exceeded our expectations! It’s very thoughtfully managed and maintained. There is a great spread for breakfast, their (free) limbo service took us to dinner and back, there is an awesome espresso machine in the lobby next to a gorgeous salt water fish tank. The grounds have beautiful landscaping and water features throughout. And then ofcourse the outdoor area is just fantastic. It’s got a huge hot tub and pool, tiki torches light up with flames at night, a gas fire pit with comfy seating, it’s all just so well done. Also the rooms were fully equipped and updated and cozy. We will always recommend this hotel! Sincerest thank you to all the staff at this Best Western for making this place such a great experience. Your hard work shows!

This isn’t the quietest property but what they lack in location they make up for with their hidden oasis! I stay here every time I come to eureka! Good breakfast, great hot tub and always friendly staff.

Check in was a headache
Front desk guy made the check in process a huge headache, literally took 20+ min to check in, charged $10’for my kids to stay even though I told him they were not staying in the room (in laws live near by) if you want a smooth process this is not the place. Unfortunately I will most likely not stay here in the future.

The staff were really wonderful. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The property exceeded my expectations; it was clean, updated and in great condition. Our room was quiet; could not hear other guests. The property is not easily walkable to and from restaurants, but the property's free car service to the Old Town shopping/restaurants made it easy to go to dinner without driving.

Expedia charged my cash app visa for prepaid stay. On arrival person checking me in was very rude and having a conversation with another employee. Said it's prepaid but they don't accept that type of payment in a very judgemental way.Said its my problem to get refund from Expedia.

Staff is delightful and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. A little musty. The area is noisier than I would have liked, but conveniently located. Blackout curtains are in order to block the excessive light from the hallways.

This is a hidden gem in Eureka. We enjoyed the generous complimentary breakfast and espresso machine in the lobby. The oasis area with its outside seating and pools are a plus. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Humboldt county.
