Staff was friendly and accommodating. They were able to offer early check-in when we arrived early in the day, which I very much appreciated. Rooms were comfortable and very clean.When we had an issue with opening the safe, someone came right away to help. Only two elevators, so sometimes we had to wait a few minutes, but not a big deal.

Great hotel for what we needed. Didn’t spend a great deal at the hotel as we were out sight seeing the majority of the time. Arrived to some spillage on the floor, bathroom door kept locking on its own (easy to resolve) had a few days of heavy rainfall and quickly realised there was no where to hang out clothes or even towels from showering. Hotel were quick and helpful with any issues, nothing was left unresolved for long due to their amazing maid service and also handy man. Lift was a very long wait. Seemed to hit every floor on the way up going past us every morning. Staff on the front desk were helpful with information and arranging a taxi for us to get to the airport.

I liked my room. I got the king penthouse suite with patio, but all the cushions were missing and the door would not stay shut. It was very windy and rainy and it woke me up twice swinging open scared me. Hope you get that fixed. Otherwise, clean and beautiful view.

A group of students arrived very early in the morning and would not stop the noise. Complaint at reception twice. A “clever” young man said there was nothing he could do hanging the phone down. Didn’t expect the lack of empathy or attention. So noisy I would not recommend it if you’re yet lagged or want to rest.

The positive first, it is central and close to subway and main mid town locations. The negatives, not really 4 stars, 3 stars at best, there was a constant sound in the room every 3 to 4 minutes like a motor which kept me up throughout the night, every night, room is tiny and only 1 seat for people, walls are paper thin too, Better off staying elsewhere

Bed was very comfortable. Room was very clean and the water pressure in the shower and hot water was excellent. Large bathroom for NYC. Staff were welcoming and courteous. Warm cookie on check in. Street block is quiet which is good for noise but a bit empty when walking at night on the street but the avenues are brighter and more activity. Only downside is slow elevator but would stay here again without hesitation.

First of all, this is New York City so it is bustling. The location is great because it puts you in the center of it all. Walking distance to Empire State Bldg. and other locations. Overall, the place is great. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, could use a little upgrade otherwise it was a great stay. Staff really set the place apart. Friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. I hope to return soon.

Our room was cleaned by housekeeper but she didn’t change the sheets she just fixed existing didn’t wipe the floors did and filled in the coffee station. She took the $5 tips but didn’t do anything except changing details. Terrible service terrible location terrible staff everything about this hotel it’s just terrible and very noisy you can hear everyone next door Very claustrophobic, not a friendly staff just terrible place! I do not recommend!

The elevator was broken most of my trip and I would wait 20 mins trying to leave or get upstairs. I would end up having to walk up six flights of stairs. Plus the people on my floor kept slamming the doors day and night.

I found the staff to be pleasant but the hotel building feels ‘tired’ in need of a revamp. It was fine for somewhere to sleep for a few nights. The smell of cannabis coming up from the front outside area is pretty disgusting but that could be blamed on New York City for legalising

At check in, the lady at the front desk told us about breakfast from 7am-10am. She was super kind and helpful. That evening, we pulled the black out shade down and the next morning, it would not go up. We asked the staff at the front desk if they could fix it while we were out for the day and they said yes. When we returned that night, the blackout shade was up. When I attempted to lower it, the shade would not go down. We called the front desk and asked for 2 blankets (2 double beds). One hour later, there was a knock at the door and then a man opened our door holding one blanket. Luckily my husband was walking towards the door so the man was not able to walk past the door entry. My girls were asleep in the bed so I don’t appreciate staff just barging in, especially after it took an hour for them to respond to our request for extra blankets. The blanket on the bed was super thin!! On our 3rd morning there, we went to grab some hotel breakfast. A lady was standing next to the food and asked if we had breakfast included in our room. I told them I wasn’t sure as we had booked the room months ago. Our trash in our room was never emptied the 3 days we were there. Overall I wasn’t impressed with this hotel and we would not stay there again.

Hotel is helpful and kind, hotel is very centralized, close to many restaurants and citibikes are a block away if you want to rent a bike to move about the city. Everything I needed was 10-15 minutes away. Don't forget to ask for free cookies and coffee at the front desk.. delicious.

Comfortable rooms, staff was fine, location pretty convenient. BUT, they only have two elevators, which seem to break down often, so if you have heart or ambulatory issues, you might want to stay somewhere else. Also, you don't need your room key to use the elevator, so anybody can come in and access any floor.

This was a great property in terms of its location. Its walking distance to the core NewYork must sees. Our room had a view of the Empire State Building which was a great treat. Rooms are compact but clean and toiletries are provided. Staff on the whole were super helpful and attentive. Only complaint is that you could hear other guests in other rooms. We got unlucky with noisy neighbours but when we complained the night staff dealt with it effectively. Just annoying to have to complain every night.

Solid location in mid-town. Very comfy beds as you would expect with a Hilton. Very helpful staff. Only two lifts for the size of the hotel which is not ideal but suspect a lot of hotels in this area might have similar situation.

Room was comfortable and quiet. However the rinky dink elevators need upgrading. Impossible to get down via elevator in the morning. They either bypass your floor or are full. Had to use narrow stairwell including when checking out with luggage.

Staff was wonderful! We weren’t able to check in early but they let us leave our stuff and come back when our room was ready. Same with checkout we were able to leave our stuff. I had traveled with my dog and the staff loved him and made us feel very welcome! Definitely will make this my go to hotel when coming to the city
