This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at Taipei Roumei Boutique. We don't need all the frills and high end options. This is a simple, clean, and quiet hotel located on a side ally but just 3 blocks fr9m main roads and 5 blocks from subway station. There are SO SO SO many local food options within a 1 km radius. You can eat nearly 24/7 all the great Taiwanese food shops.

Taipei Roumei Boutique hotel is welcoming, clean, and comfortable. Located in a very quiet “alley street”. Safe surrounding neighborhood with no shortage of excellent food and tea shops. Enjoy!

I would recommend people to stay at this hotel. That’s a slight walk from the MTR station. The neighbourhood is really dark and quiet.

Have been staying this hotel many times throughout the last couple of years. All staffs are friendly and attentive, from the front desk to housekeeping or even the parking person. The only thing I think it is not as good as before is the TV. The channels got a lot lesser than before and their new system doesn’t function properly. One more thing is, I miss their breakfast! That was one of the reason I kept coming back whenever I visit Taipei. But they don’t operate that anymore.

Clean rooms; due to Covid, will only come into room upon request. Even though I did not request room cleaning, towels were changed each day. Excellent location, close to metro station. No raucous partying; guests are respectful of one another. Hotel nestled among residential buildings (downside: view out of my windows was the back balconies of residential buildings) Will definitely return.

Room size and comfort level met expectations. Staff very courteous and helpful. Stay was slightly spoilt when a noisy family moved into the adjacent room. Sound proofing definitely needs improving.

Good: Wonderful in-room jacuzzi and steam room. Spacious room. Good breakfast. Shortcoming: Cracked basin. False ceiling at bathroom not fixed properly during checked in. Remote control ran out of battery. Informed front desk but were not replaced. Can hear noise from other rooms or other guests closing doors. Surrounding can be quite dark at night. Satisfactory: staff service, location.

Excellent hotel for our trip. Conveniently located (Uber is cheap so it's central enough to easily get everywhere), fantastic jet and rain shower with amazing water pressure, daily water bottles and Doritos! The Coke and Sprite in fridge are complementary and refilled when you drink too!

Location a bit further away from mrt station but not bad. Great little market 2 blocks away and we stopped by each night on the way back. Hotel was clean and spacious and location was not bad. Friendly staff travelled with my gf

Very dated room, carpet has holes. The room is spacious, but the decor is really dated. The bathroom is lovely with bathtub, but the look is tired. Capet has holes, mattress not very comfortable. Room has window. But the view is nothing great.

The pictures one sees on the web are deceiving. The size of the lobby and the room are not big at all. Check-in. Front lobby personnel are very nice, friendly, and quick. Room. The room is small. I booked the largest room with two twin beds and it is 420 sq ft. But the bathroom took about 2/5 of the whole area. There is a huge bath tub which I think is a waste of space. The room is clean but the carpet is worn. And not enough place to put your clothes and stuff away. I had to go to the front desk to ask for iron and ironing board. The noise is acceptable. But it is noisier than the other hotels I’ve stayed at. There is no plugs on the wall except the two next to the desk. When I asked the front desk they say there are extension cord I can borrow. Air-Condition. Guests cannot control the temperature in the room. It is pre-setted by the hotel. Guests can change the fan speed. Room 503, where I was, the air blows right to the head of the bed. Makes my noose all plugged up. In the other hand, there is no air condition in the bath room. I can imagine how warm it gets when it’s hot outside. Heater. There is no heating in the room. But no surprise here. Westin hotel did not have heater in the room neither. Free breakfast. You get what you pay for. The small restaurant was really clean and the manager was friendly. But not much of a food choices. Price. Very reasonable. But you get what you pay for so. Check-out. Only took a couple of minutes.

I stayed there many times of this year. When I check in that front desk lady call my name immediately. I was very surprised and happily. They give us very special gifts for free 2 days breakfast. The hotel still very clean. We will back again.

Fantastic place
We enjoyed this property lots. The very friendly and welcoming staff, the elegant fresh interiors and completely refurbished corridors and rooms. Very large, spacious, comfortable and quiet rooms, and an immense jacuzzi in the bathroom. Terrific, that was great. Nice East and Western style breakfast. Highly recommended!

Beauty Hotels in Taiwan!
This was our 5th stay at a different Beauty Hotel in Taiwan, and the Roumei might be the best. Location is superb, right by all kinds of eating spots and day /night markets, MRT is a 5 minute walk away, service was great, from the front desk, to room cleaning, to breakfast ; zero issues during our 8 night stay. Rooms very comfortable, bathrooms superb, elevators quick.

This boutique hotel is is a great location to explore Taipei. Your with in walking distance of 2 metro (MRT) station. There’s a good buffet breakfast catering for Taiwanese and Europeans. There also small gym. The rooms are really comfortable. I’d recommend saying

Japanese style breakfast(not Japanese food), big bath room. The only pity thing is the noise resistant between rooms were not so good. Not recommend for family stay but good for solo or business stay.

The location is excellent, it’s very central and easy to get to many sights quickly while also being on a quiet street. The underground is close by and there are many places to eat near the hotel too. The room was nice and the bathroom was very spacious and had great shower facilities.
