What a clean property. The bed was comfortable and this property is well kept, clean, and safe! We've stayed here numerous times on our trips to Sherman.

This place is a dump! Towels are old and thin, pillows are lumpy and/or flat. Pool is closed because they can’t get the pH right and hot tub isn’t hot so we cant use it either. Could run hotter bath water. Ice machine broken. Drawers in nightstand have handles falling off of them. TV remote is trashed, and the AC unit sounds like it may bite the dust at any moment also. What a joke. I prepaid over $100 or we would be outta here!

The tub/shower ran water the entire three nights and could not be stopped. Elevator broke. Breakfast eggs bad. Did not clean room on one night. The manager and head house keeper very rude.

It was sucky service after driving all night all we wanted to do is check in and go to sleep and couldn’t front desk lady told us we had to wait another 20 minutes. And to top it off we had the third floor and elevator were not working. Couldn’t go swimming because it was close till May. Overall I was soooo disappointed with this property.

Highly disappointed
So when i got to hotel, the elevator not working. The pool which should be heated had sign that said it was done for the season and no spa/hot tub in use. Everything on the info page incorrect. No pool or hot tub, no working elevator and breakfast isnt until 630am. Heat never was warm. Bad experience altogether!

Great Hotel - When the Elevator Works
This hotel would have been an excellent stop-over except for one thing - the elevator was not working. The only available rooms were on the third floor (wonder why?). Otherwise, I had an excellent check-in experience at the desk and the room was fine. I was even able to park my truck in front with a trailer in tow. The location is conveniently close to the freeway, gas stations and restaurants.

We were assigned a room on the 2nd floor due to the elevators not working. Our stay was 4 days, still not working. We elected a handicap room just to be on the 1st floor. The pool is filthy and should be drained and cleaned, the ice machine did not work and the breakfast options were limited, no bacon was served, eggs too runny and not enough fruit options. Renovations are truly needed for this establishment as the doors have visible openings even when closed, didn't feel secure without extra fabricated lock attached.

poor upkeep of property. shower/tub would not shut off completely. coat rack fell down when we put coats on it ( repair man came and fixed it). toilet seat loose. walls in elevator chipped.

Overall, the place fit my needs, but there was a lot that was a bit iffy. My room was lacking both an alarm clock and a chair for the desk. It had water stains and cracks all over the place. The bathtub faucet was broken, and was leaking all the time I was there. The reader on my door didn't work well, and I had to swipe the card five or six times to get it to unlock. All that said, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the staff were courteous and kind.

No regular coffee this am. Sign saying d out of regular coffee !! Breakfast was not ready …. It was 8:00 We left and stopped at McDonald’s…. Huge disappointment! The hotel was nice and clean ….. but to not have coffee !!!!!

Safety does not matter
This was probably one of the worst days that ever had at a property due to safety. When we got to the property at 10:30, 10:45 PM there was no power transformer was taken out not the hotels fault but there was no air conditioning in the rooms all night due to no power, but that wasn’t my biggest concern. My biggest concern was I was staying on the first floor next to the door. The night auditor decided to unlock every outside door to the hotel, so anybody could enter without a hotel key this is something that should never happen. The only door that should’ve been left unlocked was the front door by the front desk for hours. People were coming in the back door. People try to get into my room several times. I finally went to the front desk and asked my room to be changed at 2 AM at this time. Several other people had come through the back door asking for a room keys. I asked for a new room key as well as my key was no longer working when I went back to my room, no idea was checked nothing just hand it over a key. This is so unsafe for many reasons, especially for women, no key or doors should ever be unlocked for anybody without a valid ID shown prior my room was changed. It did get a little bit quieter around 3 AM at the air-conditioning never came on. The power never came back on until after we had departed at 10 AM. I disappointment here is more to do with all the doors being unlocked to anybody to come in to what should’ve been a secure place turned out to be not secure.

The only thing we didn't like could not be helped by the hotel. The road construction turned a 5 minute trip to a gas station into a 20 minute trip. Everything else was great

Mold spots in the shower, dead bugs in the bathroom, no toilet paper in bathroom, unfinished wall repairs, open light fixtures, ants in both beds, not vacuumed, stains all over the two chairs and thin walls to boot.
