Thank you for your kind review. Always great to know when people enjoy their stay. There are actually around 7 different restaurants just 10 minutes walk away from town and a couple of hotels with great restaurants walkable on the way into town too. You can try them the next time :) See you again.

Many thanks for taking the time to review. Two of our rooms face to the front of the property and the other three to the rear which is quieter. We are "townies" ourselves so don't even notice the traffic but the windows are double-glazed so - if closed - shuts the sound out quite a bit. Next time, might be better booking a room to the back if they are free.

Vielen Dank für Sie überprüfen. Gut, dass Sie genossen Ihren Aufenthalt bei uns . Leider Sie nicht glaube, es war genug, um das Frühstück. Unser Frühstück erweist sich in der Regel sehr beliebt bei einer Auswahl von 3 Getreide, Obst Saft, Toast , Wurst, Ei, Speck, Champignons, Tomaten und Bohnen. Wenn jemand irgendwelche diätetischen Anforderungen hat müssen wir im Voraus zu wissen, damit wir kaufen, was erforderlich ist.

Hi there, apologies for the oversight in not emptying the bin. You should have let us know and we would have emptied straight away. Not sure which room you were in as you have not said so not sure why noisy but glad you enjoyed breakfast anyway :)

Hi there, many thanks for your review. Yes, we have two rooms that face the front of the property which will be noisier of the windows are open. There is double-glazing, so if closed tight, it is much quieter. If you are booking again, better to book one of the quieter rooms to the back of the property. Thanks again.

Hi there, many thanks for your excellent review. I'm afraid we don't reserve car parking spaces for people as it's a first come, first served basis as there are only two spaces but there is plenty unrestricted parking to the front and back of the property so parking is not an issue. As stated WiFi codes etc and lots of other useful information are provided in an A4 booklet in all rooms for guests to read at their leisure. Hope to see you again. Iain and Dot.

Many thanks for posting your review. Glad you enjoyed breakfast and the room etc. We try to be as quiet as possible in the morning but difficult when getting set up for breakfast. Other guests can also be quite noisy when coming down the stairs. Maybe best to book an upstairs room if visiting again but no outside balcony with upstairs rooms. Hope to see you again.

Thanks for your review. We now have a keysafe outside the front door for guests arriving after 2230. As this is our home and not a hotel and run by two of us only, unable to have Reception staff as not really a necessity. Note to future guests : arrival time is imperative for all bookings (not just late arrivals). Dot works during the day so my day revolves around when guests are arriving and I am also not in the house every day all day. John, thanks for pointing out :) Hope to see you again in our home on a future occasion.

Sorry for the delay. Just realised we can comment on review on this site. Sorry to read you were unhappy. You should have let us know there was a problem. We pride ourselves in keeping the place spotless. Re checking out. You are correct, we are not always upstairs. Guests normally ring the doorbell when leaving to get our attention. We have no idea when guests are leaving and are either in our own apartment underneath or stripping and changing rooms for the next guests. Unfortunately, there is no rest :) Good you enjoyed Iain's breakfast. Not sure now why you thought he had no customer skills but he has worked in a customer-facing environment for 35 years so can't understand why you would think that. It may have been your opinion but certainly not for other guests Pleased you that the room was lovely too. Dot
