Cute bed and breakfast within walking distance of the square. Great hospitality with very friendly hosts. As can be expected in a bed and breakfast the house is older and noisy as a result (lots of creaks and squeaks). The charm and details of the home definitely makes up for it though. Would absolutely stay again!

This B&B is an antique treasure. The hosts were wonderful and treated us with such a personal touch to make our stay and time in Granbury a perfect anniversary weekend! The gourmet breakfast was beautiful and so tasty. The photos can't do this place justice. It is beautiful in every corner of every room.

Breakfast was excellent. Our room has a large sitting area so we opted to have breakfast there. We took advantage of a shuttle service which stopped in front to go to downtown Grandbury thereby avoiding the parking hassle.

The Iron Horse Inn is a wonderful bed and breakfast experience. The owner, Julie, is a delightful person. She creates a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food she prepares, whether the afternoon pastries or the morning breakfast is outstanding.

Awesome place to stay. We had the greatest time, the 2nd year in a row. Great place to have a family get together, and in our case, a family Christmas. Thank you Julie for a wonderful time.

The Inn keepers are very kind and hospitable. The Inn is beautiful and they make sure you are taken care of. 100% going to stay there again.

An anniversary to remember.
I Cannot begin to put into words how beautiful this property is. It was like a step back in time. The place is quiet, the beds are comfortable and the Josephine room was tastefully decorated and very private. We had the house to ourselves since we booked on a Wednesday. The area is quiet and our hostess(property owner) was welcoming and did everything to make us comfortable. We had a delectable breakfast the next morning. We will be going back of course and I cannot wait ❤. It's places like these that make special occasions even more special.

Really nice bed & breakfast. Owner was extremely pleasant. Breakfast was above excellent, everything homemade - quiche, potatoes, cinnamon muffins. Only problem we had was the Chisom room (I believe it was the least expensive) did not have comfortable chairs and the TV was too low to view from the bed. It was decorated beautifully.

We were very pleased. Julie is an excellent host. Room and house are fantastic. Food was great. Quiet surroundings. Within 1 mile walking distance to Granbury square. Trolley service also stops.

Such a wonderful place with amazing hosts. They really go above and beyond to make sure their guests are comfortable. Room was spacious , comfortable, and very clean. Would definitely recommend.

History galore in this beautifully remodeled house that had original wood and an inviting feel. I have never slept in such a soft and comfortable bed. Breakfast was gourmet and made with love. All the modern amenities were included. I have never ever stayed in a B&B as beautiful as the Iron Horse. Will be back again. And again. And again. And... You get the picture!

Great stay!
The house was built in the 1800s, and it’s beautiful! We stayed in the garden cottage (which is the old carriage house converted into a suite) and there were a few loose boards in the floor that gave a bit when you stepped in them, but I guess that comes with the age. All in all, it was very charming, the breakfast was GREAT, and the service was PHENOMENAL. We’d definitely stay again.

This place is great! The house is beautiful and beautifully furnished. My wife and I had it all to ourselves on a Wednesday night and so got to see every room in the house, and they are all just as nice. We had the balcony and sat out there until sunset enjoying the birds (including a barred owl). The Josephine suite would make for a luxurious night or two in the future. The owners, Julie and Lenny, are the perfect hosts for a B&B. We enjoyed getting to know them during and after breakfast, and we wish we could have stayed longer. The house is kept sparkling clean. The breakfast was delicious. Julie did a fantastic job of catering to my wife’s need for a gluten-free, dairy-free menu. We couldn’t be more pleased with our last minute decision to stay there when we had to make a quick family/business trip. We will be back.

Warm and Welcoming B&B
Our stay was amazing. The hosts are super welcoming and have thought of everything. There were numerous thoughtful touches like wine, coffee, and brownies when we checked in. The surprise birthday package was a wonderful surprise for my husband. The breakfast was amazing and so delicious. Our room was perfect, clean, comfortable bed, with access to a refrigerator and coffee maker. I highly recommend this place!

The BEST bed and breakfast in Granbury
We've stayed at other bed-and-breakfasts in Granbury over the past twenty years, but Iron Horse has quickly become our favorite-- and by far! It's just off the square and very close to the walking/biking path that leads to both the park and the square. The breakfasts were all excellent, the room is spacious and clean, and the service is wonderful.

Loved our stay!
We loved our stay here! My husband typically doesn’t like B&B’S but he said he was pleasantly surprised with this one. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was tasty. We enjoyed visiting with the owners and also the other guests. Will definitely be back.
