So relaxing, so beautiful... We'll be back.
We stayed in the Carriage House suite at the Inn. It was huge, comfortable, and clean. The sitting room had a full-size couch and a gas fireplace that provided more than enough warmth for the whole suite. The double doors that opened out to our balcony gave us a great view of the blue jays and woodpeckers vying for the bird feeders outside our suite. A reserved parking spot outside our unit with our name on it was a very nice touch. The complimentary breakfast is abundant, with an egg-based entree, baked goods, fresh-squeezed juice, fruit, and hot beverages delivered each morning at 9 a.m. There are very few television options (maybe dish or similar), some movies on DVD are thoughtfully supplied, and also a shelf of books. But, really... on a peaceful, romantic getaway, who wants television anyway? Wireless is strong all over the grounds. Although close to the highway this room was very quiet. We loved feeling "away" but still within a short drive of both Mendocino and Fort Bragg.

Love PJ the llama!!
We loved our stay at Glendeven! The breakfast was great each morning before we visited the llamas and chickens and left for our daily adventure. The fireplace and room was a welcome place to come back and relax at the end of the day.

There’s nothing to be said.
There’s nothing bad to be said about this place. They take care of every single detail as much as they can, and they try to make you feel comfortable in their hotel. There’s a nice beach close by, and you can access it without much trouble from the hotel. They give you an excellent breakfast that I recommend to everybody.

Love the expansive, beautiful grounds with llamas & chickens. Spacious, luxurious room with homey guest areas in the Lodge. Hiking trails and ocean close by . Delicious hot gourmet breakfast brought to the room in glass bakeware. Having Breakfast on table in room with view of the llamas and ocean in the distance was one of the highlights. Feels more like staying in someone’s beautiful property with excellent hosts. Only negative is we heard continuous loud footsteps and other noise right above our room at night. No sound insulation on the floors but it did stop after 10 pm the 2 nights we stayed. Overall I would highly recommend the beautifully renovated Lodge at Glendeven.

We really liked this hotel. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast that came with the room was delicious, and best of all we got to eat it in the privacy of our room. Plus, they have 6 chargers for electric cars. We were in Mendocino for a family event and comparing to others staying elsewhere, I think we hit the jackpot.

Great property with excellent staff, fresh breakfast daily, smooth buttery sheets to fall asleep in, and chickens and llamas on site. Close to the coastline and downtown Mendocino and Fort Bragg.

What an amazing find! The lodgings exceeded their own description of the charm, beauty, comfort, and service they offered. Breakfasts were extraordinary; the views were fantastic; the trails were great; and happy hour was a very helpful introduction to Mendocino wines. We recommend the Glendeven Inn & Lodge highly. We hope to return soon.

Second time at this B&B and we absolutely love it! Recently got engaged and Glendeven staff provided us with a nice room in their new building as well as a bottle of champagne. Breakfast was awesome! Definitely would recommend this place for overnighters, weekend romantic getaways, etc.

We stayed in the Carriage House which offers a spacious 2nd floor suite with a garden view of the property...quiet and privacy. Full breakfast delivered to our door, complimentary wine tasting and hors d'oerves, dedicated parking apace. We had mentioned we were celebratinglng our 35th anniversary, and found a complimetary bottle of champagne in our room and a handwritten note of congratulations. Top quality linens and bedding. Meticulous attention to details and quality customer care all added up to a wonderful stay and desire to return on our next trip to Mendocino Coast. Highly recommended!

This property was placed in a really beautiful location close enough to the ocean to get the views, but far enough to not get hit by cold winds. They run a farm which has many chickens and llamas, also they grow berries and organic vegetables. So the views you get are not only of the ocean, but of a beautiful farmhouse with produce all around and tall trees; nothing short of a paradise. The staff is all friendly and gives a personal touch to the hospitality they provide. You could get freshly made organic breakfast with locally procured produce and eggs delivered to your room. In short, we loved everything about this place. We highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to relax and get some peace of mind.

What more could you ask for??? A private parking space, breakfast brought to your room, free WIFI and long distance, llamas, free chicken feed in case you want to feed the chickens (so fresh eggs!), beautiful gardens, well appointed rooms, free happy hour wine and snacks, ocean views from the Farmhouse, and hiking trails right there. Great shopping in several nearby towns including Mendocino, and a nice gift shop right there too... Staff is excellent and friendly as well.
