What a great little hotel! Room was clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and spacious with a good shower and historic touches such as antique light switches and exposed beams in the ceiling. Location by main gate and cathedral was perfect. Loved having a balcony style window that opened, overlooking the little narrow street. A dinner restaurant of the same name (owned by the hotel?) was located across the street in a cute alcove and looked appealing, though we only tried the bar, which was great. Thanks for a nice vacation, Hotel Cansales.

El hotel muy bueno, el olor del hotel es increíble y delicioso cómo los mejores perfumes. Habitaciones impecables . Ubicación perfecta al interior de la ciudad . Puedes caminar todo Ávila con tranquilidad y comodidad. Totalmente recomendado

El hotel tenía previsto una reserva de una habitación para uso individual, cuando la gestión era para una habitación doble; cuestión solventable. No es muy “visual” habilitar mesas de comedor frente al mostrador de la Recepción. Se aprecia cierta descoordinación para dar y atender mesas en los comedores.

Muy recomendable
Una estancia perfecta. El hotel es bonito y está limpio. La ubicación es inmejorable, en las murallas pegado a la catedral. Tiene aparcamiento propio( muy importante). Un buen desayuno por 8€ y una terraza encantadora que se llama " los patios de la catedral". Pero lo mejor de todo es su personal. Muy muy agradables y atentos.

Buena experiencia. Tienen menos plazas de parking que habitaciones, consulten antes de viajar. Aparcamiento de pago a dos minutos a pie. Se ve antiguo pero las camas cómodas y muy limpio.

La habitación triple es amplia pero tiene un ventanuco en lo alto que para abrir y cerrar te debes de subir a una escalera. El wofi no llega a la habitación La recepción suele estar vacia te debes de esperar para cualquier cosa.

Okay hotel
The bathroom had an unpleasant smell, probably due to piping or the fact that it had no window. The service was overall okay but not particularly attentive. There is no lift to the upper floors so anyone with mobility issues will struggle.

Pleasant and in a good position
It was a little difficult to find the Hotel as the satnav kept telling us we had arrived but we could not see the Hotel, it turned out to be the other side of the wall and the only way to drive there was through no entry signs.The hotel was very comfortable although it would have been good to have a fridge in the room.

Ein Highlight
In diesem Hotel fühlt man sich wirklich in SPANIEN, vom Gebäude über die Aufenthaltsräume bis zu den Zimmern! Ein Gartenrestaurant lädt zum Verweilen und zu leckerem Essen ein. Das Hotel liegt direkt hinter der Kathedrale und Stadtmauer. Das reichliche Frühstück für 6 € war eine Überraschung, besser geht es kaum!

A delightful adventure!
This hotel was the most charming, best accomation, and best location of my entire trip to Spain! And an adventure in driving, for sure. The hotel is located inside the walls of the city and is so charming, and nice inside. The beds, bathroom, towels, and decor were ver nice. The hotel send me a link with a video about parking at the hotel which I was most grateful that I watched, as driving to the hotel was most tricky through the very narrow pedestrian alley and so close to the fron door. But there was someone right there to open the gates of the parking and she was so very nice to us. It is really close to the cathedral and access to the city wall walk. Very pleasant day there in Avila.

Hubo un problema con la reserva (error del hotel) y se esforzaron en solucionarlo, pedir disculpas y compensarlo. El personal fue muy amable, quedé muy satisfecho.

A gem of a hotel
We loved this quiet character hotel with modern facilities, WiFi and private open air locked car park. Situated centrally, we were even able to pop out later in the evening to see Avila illuminated. Excellent cuisine and very friendly and helpful staff.
