El hotel es muy acogedor y está ubicado en una zona tranquila del casco histórico. Los cuartos son amplios y cómodos, incluyendo mesa para trabajar. El desayuno es casero y muy completo. El personal es súper atento y educado. lo recomendamos!!!! 10 puntos!

Altaïr Hotel is a 5-⭐️ hotel.
Staff, room, breakfast, and dinner recommendations of Altaïr Hotel staff are the best we have experienced in Spain and Portugal in our travel so far. We will come back next year in our next journey of Camino de Santiago.

This is a beautiful hotel run by very pleasant people. It’s location is ideal for visiting all of Santiago’s old town.. wonderful breakfast and small shops around the corner, including bakery and small restaurants. Very clean and tranquil.

Una buena estancia
Excelente estancia, desde la recepción, nos ayudaron a encontrar estacionamiento cercano y darno sun espacio fuera del hotel para bajar las maletas. La habitación muy limpia y cómoda la cama. Es hotel esta muy cercano al centro de la ciudad, por lo que puedes caminar sin ningún problema.

Walking distance to the main points of interests, parking 5 minutes walking, nice breakfast and price is very reasonable. Like the place and really enjoy the staff

A great cozy hotel
Our stay at Altair Hotel was excellent. The location is very convenient, the hotel sits just on the edge of the old town, so it’s very walkable to anywhere in the city. It is also very quiet. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful and delicious, the service was beyond reproach. Many thanks to all the ladies working at the reception and the kitchen special, especially to Teresa who does an outstanding job and was super helpful for us.

Great friendly hotel. The staff are wonderful and very welcoming. The room was clean and had everything you needed. The hotel is central and near to everything. Highly recommended.

The property was lovely. It was clean, the room was nice. However, unfortunately the air conditioning was not working, because of the lower temperature in Santiago. Coming from the UK, it was extremely hot and so we needed the window open. This then caused issue with noise. The window in front of us allowed us to hear each cobble on the road as cars drove down and garbage men throughout the night. The window on the right, some form of unit which kicked in every 15 minute or so with a loud buzzing noise…so while lovely, I didn’t sleep for the majority of the time. The proximity to the town is excellent, and maybe if we had the windows closed, it would have been perfect.

Close to the Cathedral and local transport links. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, airy and welcoming. A lovely boutique hotel.

Good location with everything very walkable. Accommodations were well appointed, clean, safe and convenient. The real gem at this hotel is the staff, especially Teresa! Complete, authentic hospitality. Very knowledgeable about area and willing to go above and beyond for the guest.

Rustic yet modern decor. Very helpful staff. The breakfast is really fantastic. The only tiny improvement that could be made would be softer bed pillows. Highly recommended hotel.

It was a shame you didn't tell us about the pillows because we have softer bed pillows in all closets. We have 24h reception just to be able to solve these little things. Una de las mejores cosas que tiene este hotel, es la amabilidad del personal. Todo el mundo está dispuesto a que tu día sea lo mejor posible, desde el servicio de limpieza, restauración y por su puesto recepción. El hotel está muy bien situado, muy cerquita de todas las calles más céntricas De Santiago, y por su puesto de la catedral. Es pequeño, pero cada detalle está bien cuidado. La habitación es muy cómoda y la limpieza era perfecta. Sin duda, si alguna vez vuelvo a esta hermosa ciudad, será de nuevo a este hotel.

Convenient to Obradoirio Square and Cathedral. Also well positioned for Airport bus if like me you use the L6A. Breakfast was thoroughly enjoyable, delicious and more than ample. Staff so kind and welcoming as well as informative. Will return and recommend. M

Belle vue
Hôtel très bien situé avec une magnifique vue sur la plage. Cependant, nous avons séjourné dans la chambre 608, et avons été réveillé par des coups de marteau à répétitions. La salle de bain mériterait une bonne rénovation. Pas de climatisation dans la chambre. Le confort du lit et correcte cependant un seul oreiller plat par personne. Un deuxième aurait été le bienvenu. Petit déjeuner copieux dans une salle très agréable avec une magnifique vue sur la mer.
