Close to the station, Matterhorn view, but little expensive. Clean and spacious room. 평점 4.9점을 받을 정도는 아닌것 같습니다.

Close to the train station, friendly reception
Clean room, coffee, refrigerator. Although no clear view of Matterhorn due to construction, receptionist and other guest workers were very good. Especially, breakfast was fantastic for private guests.

Schönes Hotel direkt gegenüber der Bergbahn
Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt und kommen gerne wieder! Frischer Orangensaft beim Frühstück und eine große Auswahl, top! Wellness sehr schön, hervorzuheben ist die angenehm warme Wassertemperatur in allen Becken… Zimmer etwas älter und mit Teppichböden, hier könnte man eventuell etwas erneuern, ist aber nicht weiter schlimm.

Sehr veraltete und verbrauchte Ausstattung. In meinem gebuchten Zimmer, war sehr vieles defekt und verbraucht. Übernachte schon sehr lange und immer wieder in Zermatt. Erlebte so etwas noch nie. Der Teppich sicherlich schon Jahrzehnte alt Das Frühstück ist mangelhaft. Das Personal ist sehr passiv. Die Angestellten an der Rezeption sind sehr schlecht ausgebildet, und sprechen kein Deutsch. Der Übernachtungspreis ist keineswegs gerechtfertigt.

Some Good Some Bad
Hotel National is a nice hotel, with authentic Swiss elements, but there are multiple reasons that we would not return. First, there are better options at a lower price point (we stayed in one earlier in the week). Second, depending on where your room is located, the sounds of the train can be a nuisance. Finally, there were very limited dinner options as part of the half board package that are not conducive to the varying tastes of individual family members. The front staff were very nice and helpful, but in our experience there were simply not enough positives to justify the expense.

Es war gemütlich. Der Empfang war herzlich. Wir wurden am Bahnhof abgeholt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war super. Der Wellnessbereich sehr sauber.

The sauna/spa area is excellent. There are saunas, steam room, a cold bath and more. Our room had a view of the Matterhorn and two nice decks which was great. Otherwise the room was adequate. Breakfast was OK. The omelets were fresh made but the crepes seemed pre-made. On our last day, we didn't have hot water.

Hotel staff super helpful. Was an avalanche so couldn’t make it but they helpfully moved my dates to accommodate. Very much looking forward to staying!

Nicht zu bemängeln, es war perfekt. Der blick zu Matterhorn ist einmalig, die Lage ist sehr zentral, die Zimmer war perfekt, der Service sehr professionell und sehr freundlich.

Vi har vært i Zermatt nesten hvert år de siste 20 årene. Første gang vi bodde på National. Et veldig bra familie rom på 50 km. Med hems - to senger og eget bad til barna, ble det en super uke å være 4 pers. på et rom. Utrolig bra service, flott spa og helt nyoppusset rom. Og suveren beliggenhet, rett ved Sunnegga heisen. Vi kommer gjerne igjen:)

Wonderful place to stay! Literally across the street from the Sunegga lift. Hearty breakfast, ski storage and boot warmers in basement and fantastic spa (whirlpool and sauna) were perfect complement for skiing. Staff was very welcoming and gave us lots of advice on skiing and rentals. Room was spacious and balcony overlooking the Matterhorn was icing on the cake!!

Excellent ski hotel
A very comfortable hotel with great service and an excellent breakfast buffet. Lovely view of the Matterhorn from our window in the mornings! The hotel is just steps away from a good ski rental shop (20% discount for hotel guests) and the Sunegga funicular.

Excellent location right next to the Sunegga mountain railway and close to the village center, nice ambiance although a bit old fashioned, large room with good standard, very nice spa with large pool plus highly service minded staff.

Wonderful hotel with exceptional customer service
Beautiful hotel, with possibly the best level of service I’ve ever experienced! That staff are always very friendly and extremely helpful. The location is perfect, the rooms lovely and facilities such as the spa, very good. I will be back!

Wir haben eine Nacht im Hotel National verbracht und waren rundum zufrieden. Nachdem wir am Bahnhof abgeholt wurden, gab es direkt nach dem Check-In ein Sekt zur Begrüssung. Das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Obwohl wir ein Standard-Zimmer gebucht haben, erhielten wir kostenlos ein Upgrade. Die Aussicht auf das Matterhorn super. Das Zimmer selber war gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Betten bequem. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet war ansprechend und beinhaltete alles was wir uns wünschten. Wir können das Hotel National ohne Bedenken weiterempfehlen.

Good Location and worth the price
The location is just a few minutes' walk from the rail station, which means I didn't even need the shuttle service with my luggages. There was a clear view of Matterhorn, and I'm sure that most rooms have that too. Welcomed by the staff with a good drink and was led to the lift. The room was clean and tidy, with most things in place. The breakfast was very nice with a good variety of choices. Enjoyed the stay overall.
