The best thing going for this property is the staff. The manager, Rebecca, was one of the most friendly and helpful hotel staff team members I've ever encountered in many years of travel. She went out of her way to be helpful, answer questions about the hotel and area, and to make me feel welcome. If all this hotel's clients are treated like this, repeat customers will be the norm!
Another plus for air travellers is the proximity to the airport - only a 4 minute drive by Uber or Lyft. (I tried walking from the airport, but be aware their are not sidewalks for much of the trip and you have to walk a bit in the edge of the road when leaving the airport terminal which can be unsettling. I definitely would not recommend attempting this at night) The hotel, unfortunately, does not currently offer a shuttle service though Rebecca said this is being reconsidered for the future. My flight left to early to enjoy the complimentary breakfast.
The property is older but for the most part was clean and in good working order. There are no vending machines, but Rebecca advocated for canned drinks and snacks that are available for purchase at the front desk for reasonable prices.
Guests should be aware that the hotel lies in the flight path of one of the airport runways, so dependent upon the wind direction, you could have planes flying low overhead during your stay. If you are a light sleeper, you may wish to choose a hotel further away from the airport.
I would stay here again!
