Great hotel just outside of the main village, very clean and quiet. The hotel was recently renovated and is very good condition, there is also a tasty complimentary breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Wir hatten im Aris Hotel einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Es liegt direkt am Meer und ist wirklich sehr ruhig gelegen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war lecker mit viel Auswahl, hier ist für jeden was dabei. Die Zimmer waren schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Auch das Personal war äußerst freundlich und rund um die Uhr erreichbar. Eine klare Empfehlung, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Very friendly owners and staff. Great location near port and center. Nice breakfast. Season had finished so only skeleton staff. Shower very small.

Best hotel I've stayed in Crete so far (I've stayed in over 6 already) The rooms are modern and soundproofed with double glazed windows and AC. The breakfast is amazing, fresh orange juice with a selection of healthy fresh bread and local /international produce.

A good stay with one disappointment.
Booked a partial sea view but were not allocated one. Our room overlooked the garden which although pleasant enough it is not what we booked. Yiannis did apologise but it makes me insecure about what room I might be given if I wish to stay again,

Winter time visit
Nice pieces of art everywhere, friendly service and tasty breakfast. If I would've stayed longer I would've gone through the vinyl collection in the lobby.

Nice hotel with friendly staff
Nice hotel with very friendly staff and beautiful location. The hotel is a 5 min walk from the town center overlooking the sea. Rooms are quite small and especially the bathrooms are tiny. Breakfast is really nice with fresh vegetables and fruit. We had issues with the toilet not working which can happen but staff was very helpful. I think the value for money is very good.

Travelling Thomas’s 3 days in Palechora
Amazing little hotel - chic and artsy. Comfortable bed, great roof terrace with hammocks, very good breakfast included and free use of cycles. Could not fault it.

A hotel with a little extra.
We were very happy with our stay at the Aris Hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. Everywhere was spotless and well maintained to a high standard. A good choice was available at breakfast and well presented observing Covid hygiene regulations. The garden was a special feature with lovely planting and quirky, interesting sculptures a delightful feature all made from locally recycled wood and stone. We will return.

Attention au parking
Hôtel très sympa, personnel accueillant. Le confort est très correct pour le prix et la chambre très propre. Le petit déjeuner est également très bien, avec beaucoup de variété, de nombreux produits locaux et des fruits frais. Par contre attention, contrairement à ce qui est indiqué il n'y a pas de parking. Il faut se garer dans la rue, ce qui peut être difficile suivant la saison et l'heure d'arrivée.

Une etape absolument charmante a Paleochora. L’accueil et le depart se sont passes tres chaleureusement. On nous a fait de tres bonne recommandations tant pour un restaurant que pour une viree en bateau. Domage que l’hotel ne soit pas juste en bord de mer, c’est la seule chose qui manque. Das gesamte Personal war super freundlich, uns wurden Tourenempfehlungen gegeben und es war immer Zeit für ein Pläuschchen. Frühstück top, frischer O-Saft, verschiedene Brotsorten, Müsli. Alles da, was wir morgens mögen. Die Zimmer und v.a. das Bad sind etwas klein, aber wir haben uns da eh nur zum Duschen und Schlafen aufgehalten. Durch die Bauweise sind die Zimmer etwas hellhörig, Ohrstöpsel sind zu empfehlen. Und, wie in vielen Hotels, könnten im Zimmer und Bad ein paar zusätzliche Aufhängungen für Handtücher und Kleidung angebracht werden. Ansonsten war alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit, wir würden wieder ins ARIS fahren.

Schönes Hotel mit familiärer Atmosphäre
Das Hotel ist ruhig gelegen ganz im Süden von Paleochora mit ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten drumherum. Beide Strände und die Restaurantmeile sind in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß, einfach und sehr sauber. Durch die Wände kann man die Nachbarn im Bad hören, was aber wohl in den meisten Hotels der Fall ist. Insgesamt hat uns unser Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen, das Hotel wird familiär geführt, die Atmosphäre ist herzlich und die Geschwister sind sehr hilfsbereit. Besonders gut hat uns auch das Frühstücsbuffett gefallen, was jeden morgen liebevoll vorbereitet wurde.

Sunny Paleochora and the Hotel Arise
Arise Hotel is past the main dock from the bus station, which was our mode of transportation into Paleochora. The extra 5 or so minute walk is well worth the investment. The welcome is very friendly from this family run hotel. You will be challenged to believe the hotel is 30 years old. Our rooms were new with great air conditioning, ceiling fans and a working bathroom fan. There are free bicycles to use when heading back to the beach or going for a meal. We enjoyed the breakfasts at the hotel and visited many local restaurants for great Meals. The hotel has a lovely veranda where you can enjoy your breakfast or drinks in the afternoon before dinner or for nightcap. The hotel is very quiet and it seems the sun always shines on the Hotel Arise.

Great location
Definitely stay again. Perfect location. Front of hotel room great, possibly refurbished. Only downside not good for wifi unless downstairs (but could have been my phone) breakfast good, but not restocked if you arrived later say 9.30. Missed out on small things like pastries. Otherwise great and AC also as well as opened all year.

Un peu isolé au pied de la colline, il est néanmoins facile d'atteindre le centre et les plages de sable en quelques minutes de marche. Accueil fort sympa, nous avons pu déjeuner très tôt pour pouvoir prendre le ferry de 7h.

Flott og rent hotell med flott service og en veldig god og rikholdig frokostbuffet. God plass foran rommet til avslapning på kvelden, rommene ble godt rengjort og var praktiske. Beliggenheten var litt utenfor sentrum i et rolig strøk, men vegen var kort til restauranter og andre tilbud. Vi fikk all den hjelp vi trengte.

Great Stay!
Lovely family run hotel. Comfortable, clean and very close to the village centre (5 minutes walk). On the morning we got up really early to go to the Samaria gorge, they prepared for us a lunch pack for the day as we would miss breakfast!

très belle déco toute refaite à neuf
Très content, confort, propreté, déco, jardin, accueil, espaces communs, petit déjeuner (arrangeant quand départ tôt) Quelques chambres seulement ont une vue partielle sur la mer. Demander des chambres côté jardin l'hotel est la dernière habitation de la presqu'ile (5/10mn à pied des commodités et des départs des bateaux), mais il n'est pas orienté vers la mer, on se retrouve plutôt dans un bel ilot de verdure
