The Beach house Hout Bay Feb stay with Freinds
Nice small guest house, extremely clean and comfortable. Great breakfasts. The owner even made us coffee for our early departure at 6.30am. The guest house has recently installed solar panels which meant it was not effected by the country wide blackouts.

Great base for Hout Bay adventures
The suite was nice and spacious. Location within close walking distance of restaurants, harbour and market. Best scrambled eggs!

Wir erlebten einen herzlichen Empfang von Sylvi, die uns immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand. Alle sind sehr freundlich dort. Gute Athmosphäre. Die Lage ist zentral für Ausfüge mit dem Auto in die City oder viele andere lohnende Ziele. Zum Strand gelangt man in 5min über die Düne. Wir haben in der Buch sehr gut essen können. Einzig die Straße hinter dem Gelände hat uns etwas gestört bei offenen Fensten.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, wunderbares Personal, stilvoll eingerichtete Zimmer mit Liebe zum Detail, leckeres Frühstück und eine traumhafte Lage. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wären gern länger geblieben. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Even when I turned up late and the manager was in bed I still was very welcome. Also warm chocolate muffins for breakfast. So thank you fellow rock lover for a wonderful stay in a special place

Heaven in Hout Bay
The Beach House is a hidden gem. Situated right on the beach, it is welcoming, homely, comfortable, magical all at the same time. Nothing is too much trouble, the service is excellent. We will certainly be back! Getting about is simplicity itself as MyCiti have regular buses a couple of minutes away to take you to the City, which goes along the beautiful coast via Camps Bay where a quick change takes you to Table Mountain. City Sightseeing (red open toppers) also serve Hout Bay, ideal for the first time visitor.

Tolles kleines Hotel am wunderschönen Strand von Hout Bay. Unbedingt die etwas teureren oberen Zimmer mit Blick auf den Strand buchen. Sehr freundlicher Familienbetrieb mit gutem Service. Abgeschlossene Parkplätze auf dem Gelände vorhanden. Wenn Hout Bay, dann nur hier.

Lovely Hout Bay
Owners will go out of the way to assist even finding halaal beef sausages and food that you want. Didn't realise that room didn't have a shower. Bath takes forever to fill up. Sheets stank of fabric softener. Only very high pillows. Nowhere to put your cosmetic case and nowhere to store your bag. I could have complained and I am sure they would have fixed but I was in a hurry. Beautiful location. Lovely room.

Great stay
It was an excellent place to stay right near the beach and you couldn't get better service, the breakfast was delicious and plenty of it, rooms comfortable and a good bed to sleep in, they had water restrictions but that was all of Cape Town so you just had to be careful and not waste water. Couldn't ask for better people to stay with would stay or recommend it to all ages

Great Location
We had stayed at the Beach House 22 months ago. It now has new owners who have made some good modifications and improvements. The hotel is literally on the beach so does sometimes bare the effects of wind blown sand. Zac and Sylvie and their team work hard to ensure the comfort of their guests. Breakfast is excellent with both cold and cooked options. We stayed in room 3 which is on the first floor and overlooking the beach with views over the sand to the sea. A good choice. Room 2 is the same.

Family run guest house with fabulous service.
Stayed 4 nights with a group of friends. The owners made our group feel welcome and ensured everything was to our complete satisfaction. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. The owner cooked a delicious dinner for us one night. The only minor issue is internet is very, very, very slow.

Beach House? Certainly
This Hotel is right on the beach. In fact it is almost engulfed by the sand. Beach House is a beautiful hotel, very spacious and well laid out. The rooms are fabulous with great views. I was originally a bit disappointed as our room didn't have a full sea view, but then realised that we had to walk past the rooms with the sea view to leave so was then happy with my view from the patio. And what amazing views they are. Hout Bay is amazing. Seal Island is well worth a trip. I was not expecting to see seals behaving like they did. They were jumping like dolphins. The market on Friday night was fabulous. Great food, great music, great crafts. Beach Hotel is so comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous. We didn't get chance to use the pool - it was also winter, but it was clean and usable and would be great in the summer. The beach is amazing. If you're looking to stay in Hout Bay I definitely recommend the Beach Hotel

Tucked away behind a sand dune
This property is on the beach, which is great for a walk and relaxation. The staff were just wonderful. I need a pair of trousers ironed and they offered to do it for me. It arrived back in a few minutes, perfectly ironed. I would love to go back.

Everything was great except my room was cold at night and had no heat. Other than my room not having any heat,it was a great room and the staff was great as well. The Manager Mary Anne was really sweet.

Lovely stay
The room was fair size and although there were a few quirks (the door handle on the shower was hanging off) it was perfectly adequate for a comfortable stay. The bed was huge but as we were ground floor, not a great view. Also being ground floor, we would have liked to have had some French doors so we could sit in the courtyard outside our room. The breakfast was always cooked nice and a good selection of continental offerings. However, didn't get to spend much time in the pool as we were always out but when we did, there was sand in it and it could possibly benefit from some form of cover for when not in use. Location was good too as it was in the middle of all the action so wasn't too far to walk to any side of Hout Bay.

Great Value
The Beach House is a great value stay in Hout Bay, some twenty minutes drive south of Cape Town. The owner and staff are pleasant and attentive and the breakfast is a highlight. There are numerous restaurants and bars within 5 to 10 minutes walk.

Ligt aan een zeer drukke weg.
Beach House B&B is op het eerste gezicht een leuke B&B. Bij aankomst was de eigenaresse een beetje ontstemt omdat wij er pas om 19:00 waren en niet hadden laten weten hoe laat we zouden aankomen (was in alle 3 weken van Zuid Afrika verder nog geen probleem geweest) terwijl ze ons had gemaild (géén 3G aan staan in Z.A.) Blijkbaar heeft ze alleen maar negatieve ervaringen met Expedia boekers en dat bleek later op de avond ook wel omdat een reservering van 6 dagen niet op is komen dagen. Dus we begrepen haar reactie wel. We zijn voor het uitzicht op zee gegaan. We kregen de 1e nacht kamer 5. Ter grootte van kledingkast met een badkamertje van letterlijk 2x1 mtr. Als je gedoucht had moest je je letterlijk in het slaapkamertje afdrogen. Dat ging niet in het badkamertje. Daarnaast was het best warm en met het raam open was een drama, omdat de B&B aan een drukke doorgaande weg ligt. Bed was slecht, kamer te klein, een hoop lawaai en op een binnenplaatsje. Dus helemaal geen uitzicht op zee !! Dus boek géén standaard kamer (kamer 5) als je hier boekt. Wij stonden op het punt naar een ander onderkomen te gaan zoeken, ook al moesten we nog maar 1 nacht. Dan maar liever ergens anders. De volgende dag bleek de andere gast niet te zijn komen opdagen en konden wij in die kamer. Kamer 3: aan de achterkant van het huis, uitzicht op zee (de B&B heeft wel last van opstuivend zand en daardoor is het zicht inmiddels wat belemmerd. Maar een véél betere kamer met dito bed en badkamer. Prima.
