Dear Mr. Clark, It is a shame that this is your feedback about a hotel that went the extra mile to ensure that you had a most pleasant stay. Among other things, we have provided you with a premium high-speed wi-fi internet connection for free, so that you could attend your online work meetings. We did this although we had free wi-fi covering the whole hotel, but we tried to make sure you got an even better service. Although we have comfortable, medical mattresses in the whole hotel, we have given you a special upgrade to a luxury suite after your complaint about the mattress. We have given you a complimentary drink at our cafe, and sent you a fruit platter. We have done our best to ensure that you had a most enjoyable stay. You made an unproven claim, that the restaurant staff gave you change that you had not counted, and you said that you suspected that is was wrong change, but you were not sure. As an act of goodwill, we gave you your claimed amount, although the reasonable advice would have been to check your change before leaving. But again, we did more than we ought to do, because we like to make sure our guests are happy. Unfortunately, after all these incidents, you threatened our staff, and insisted you were not going to leave the reception until you got a full refund. We explained multiple times that your reservation was non-refundable, and therefore it was at a reduced cost. You kept slamming your hands against the reception desk, and our staff were concerned about their safety if further violence occurred. You had already stayed at the hotel, yet you insisted on a refund. We were threatened and met with false accusations to bully us to give back the stay money. We have contacted Expedia team, and we were advised to contact the police or local authorities, because they could not control guest conduct. We are very disappointed at this whole experience, because most Expedia guests usually show exemplary behaviour.
