Simply wonderful visit
The staff are amazing, every service is with a smile. First thing i would suggest you do is order fresh milk to your room - arrives in 5 minutes with a smile and a nod. The spa is a little basic although fully functional and very relaxing. The spa beauticians are first rate - i highly recommend an exfoliating facial!! The bar is well stocked and the chefs are first rate. The meal just kept getting better. The desert is very cheese centric... with a handful of non-cheese deserts available. We only tried the icecreams and sorbets and sadly they were nothing special. Treat yourself to a breakfast in bed during your stay. Order everthing as the portions are small. The staff are all very courteous, respectful and are desperate to ensure that you have a pleasurable experience. Im already planning my next visit.

Definitely would recommend
Love it had a really nice time! Was able to use the pool and sauna as it was quiet what was amazing! Also had room service and the chips were amazing! Honestly the best we’ve ever had!

We return to Bowood time and time again.
We were upgraded to a balcony room with views of the practice green - and there was a bottle of prosecco waiting for us too! We absolutely love Bowood and have returned time and time again. We’ll continue to do so! Lovely, clean rooms with huge comfy beds and really nice, generous bathrooms; fantastic customer service; delicious food and great for kids with the pool and the free entry to Bowood House and Gardens. Highly recommended.

We received a very warm welcome and a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful suite. The spa was very clean and peaceful and the view over the golf course was breathtaking. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant. We needed a quite break and this location was perfect. Being able to walk around the estate and explore Bowood House for free was an added bonus. All in all an excellent stay.

Lovely peaceful views very tranquil Seemed to be short of staff in bar and restaurant at dinner and breakfast. I didn't realise I could order a breakfast until after I'd eaten from the buffet.

Friendly and helpful staff. Only had breakfast at the hotel, but that was excellent. Rooms are well equipped & bed was really comfortable. Our second visit, would definitely stay here again

Absolutely amazing . Faultless
I stay approximately 200 nights a year in hotels and this was without doubt the best hotel experience I have had, everything about the hotel was incredible. The attention to detail was beyond all expectations . Definitely a team that the owners should be proud of . I can not recommend this hotel highly enough To add, the restaurant was fantastic and the atmosphere was relaxed but with an air real quality when it came to the environment and the food

An excellent place to relax and explore the country side. Staff were friendly and helpful, there were a few issues with things in the room, broken remote/ironing board/tap, but they were fixed immediately! would 100% recommend for a relaxing spa weekend, I am not a golfer but perfect if you are. Would come back again!

This place is stunning. Set in fantastic grounds, it's clean, it's very well kept. The staff are unbelievably polite and the food was top drawer. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

The estate this spa is on and the property itself is beautiful, so much to do and see. The rooms are spacious and clean with everything you need, comfortable bed and large bathroom - I especially liked the freshly baked cookies for our arrival! The staff were welcoming and the spa itself was lovely, however slightly smaller than what I was expecting for such a large estate. The breakfast was great, huge amount of choice and lovely staff. Overall our stay was great and I would definitely visit again, great value!

Amazing stay
We had a wonderful 2 night stay here with our 10 year old daughter. A lovely calm atmosphere ensured we relaxed and staff were friendly and helpful. A beautiful hotel with great facilities. We'll definately be back!

The Bowood is a quite refined hotel set in its own grounds and Golf course. Rooms are very confortable. Nice touch with the cookies in the room. Bathroom and walk in shower really nice too. Food in the restaurant is excellent but I thought breakfast expensive.
