Nice weii equipped apartment.
We were looking for a place to be able to do breakfast and coffee in the room. Very clean and comfortable. Sky Sports on TV was a bonus.

Great beds and strong shower! Perfect!
Great location in walking distance to shops, milk bar, bottle shop, etc. Rooms have king beds and they are super comfy. The shower was fantastic - about 30ltrs per minute! It's been years since I've had one like that! Linen and bedspreads were all new.

Great place to stay
I have already done a review on our stay so to repeat we really enjoyed ourselves and other than the bathroom rubbish bin being full of "stuff" we found everything great and will not hesitate to stay there again. Friendly staff and good location to shops and eateries. Comfortable bed warm and sunny unit with good kitchen facilities and easy parking. Nice outdoor area to sit in private in the sun and enjoy a glass of wine.

Mattress spring broken , noisy units
Stayed four nights two separate bookings. First booking mattress broken , shower drain needed cleaning, when one is paying more that $100 a night this should not have to be pointed out. Second booking $5 more a night that was me booking it on line and not noticing price difference. When asked told it was a king size bed, I measured it it wasn't. (we have a queen size bed at home it was the same size). When asked about a discount for not getting what we booked at first booking I was toatally ignored. The place is tired, very clean . Wont be staying here again.

Simple and Tidy
Good accommodation, nothing fancy but it was clean and showers were great. Pool and trampoline for the kids although we didn't get to use those. Helpful owners.

Convenient for our plans.
Unit suited our requirements being handy to food outlets, and for visiting friends in the several retirement homes in the vicinity.

comfortable place for stopover by the sea
Only stayed one night . Very helpful staff. Good fish and chips nearby and nice place to walk around. Clean and comfortable.

The staff person was really helpful and friendly
Nice and clean, we were happy , everything worked ! good heater - good shower, comfy beds, helpful staff, great location near the beach and restaurants and shops. We would go again.

Very nice motel close to shops,market and beach
Great place to stay and will come again.Warm unit. A shelf under the bathroom sink would have been handy for toilet gear and somewhere to store food in the kitchen would also be a handy addition rather than putting it in the bay window. Nice greeting when we arrived and a fresh smelling, clean unit.

Kapiti Cockroach Court
After two nights with noisy neighbours and sharing my room with a three inch long giant cockroach, I must confess I'd had enough. Fortunately I ate elsewhere and had no food out. To be fair, the beds were nicely made and the bathroom properly cleaned, which was appreciated.

Comfortable Motel,
This is a comfortable motel, our unit was well appointed and had everything that we could have required. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice to see that it was made with properly laundered linen ( that is very clean and the pillow cases and sheets had been ironed). It was nice to have little table and two chairs outside on the little patio and that an ashtray was provided for smokers. Because lounge seating, including a coffee table,was provided it did make the unit a little compact but nevertheless it was very comfortable. It is only a short stroll to good eateries and there is a café/bakery directly across the road. A very handy situation

quiet at night
It would be a great place if the rooms were updated a bit, probably a bit expensive for what you get. Now the plus side was it has been the first place i have ever stayed that has my sky (maybe why room cost was up)and absolutely no traffic noise during the night, bed a bit uncomfortable with innersprung mattress, walking distance to a great sports bar and eateries.

An OK place close to beach + small shopping area
Room arrangement v good.....we had separate bedroom (2 single beds) and king bed in main room. Adequate space. Presented well externally and some good facilities for kids (pool and trampoline). Internal condition was disappointing with shabby cabinetry in kitchen and bathroom. Beds and linen clean. Minor maintenance issues eg non fitting plug bathroom basin, dripping taps. We were pleased to be allowed late checkout at noon with no extra charge. Internet service frustrating (on and off all the time).

Rattle rattle the noise of our front door.
We stayed in unit number three, rattle rattle was the noise that our front door made all night as we tried to sleep, the door front could also do with cleaning, not a good look as one entered the unit.The unit interior could do with a make over, the skirting boards in toilet area needed cleaning, also noticed wood behind the tap fittings in bathroom and kitchen had rotted with little or no sealant being used when they were installed, alltogether very disappointing. ,

Clean & tidy Motel close to shops and beach
Clean & comfortable unit & good to have "My Sky" in unit. What spoilt our stay was the continual banging in the wall behind the bed, between Unit 2 & Unit 3. If we had not worn ear plugs, it would have been impossible to sleep. We brought this to the attention of the Manager & only hope that for the sake of future guests that they get this banging sorted out.

Basic with a lot of plus's all you need and more
Very good basic hotel with all you needed. Having s couch to sit on and not just your bed like many hotels meant you could relax or work.

Outdated and lacking in cleanliness
Choose this motel based on its 3.5 our of 5 rating. It doesn't deserve that rating and is more of a 2 star location. if you have no ther chouce it will suffice but it is very basic. The duvet had no cover and was stained. The walls are paper thin so be preapeared for a bad sleep if your neighbouring guests have kids or use the bathroom throughout the night.

Nice and quiet while we were there.
We had a two bed apartment. All these apartments we based around the pool and children's area. Would not be so quiet during the holidays I would think though, In the brochure in the room it was stated that the motel was 4star rated. No it was not up to that standard. The bathroom and kitchen needs updating. The bathroom lacked shelf space for your toiletries. The bedrooms were okay and the beds were comfortable,

We arrived late, owner was very pleasant and accommodating. Very happy with the room provided it was clean and comfortable.

clean but cramped!
great location, easy walk to beach and shops.nice clean unit but small for three people. It was serviced while we were there even though we only stayed two nights which was good. kitchen was not at all well set out. if you actually want to cook, there's just the bare essentials- you may wish to take a few extra utensils. could have done with a sharp knife, scissors, a bigger pan. Also there was no electrical socket in bathroom. hairdryer in room was good, but no where near a mirror. i had to stand on the bed and look into bathroom mirror which was too far away! I would stay again as cleanliness trumps all of the above- I'd just take a few extra things . Oh and water in bathroom VERY VERY HOT! you would have to supervise children. my 11 year old struggled with shower temperature. WO
