Not very good stay. Noisy road and facilities were not adequate. No proper duvets given. Not even a glass was provided in the room. Looked very amateur setting. Really surprised at the high rating and price this place has

Fun & comfortable
This was a B& B and not a hotel. I was under the impression that it was a hotel. The breakfast in the morning could be adjusted each day.

Overall very good experience
My husband and I stayed for 7 nights in September in the Privato room and really enjoyed our experience here. Several great restaurants nearby and the major sights are not too far a walk away. The bed was hard for me but fine for husband. Breakfast was very good but same each morning, no big deal. Stefano's mother made a fig tart one morning which was very good. The room was clean and comfortable, except there was a little soap scum on the tray in the shower. The refrigerator provided was not particularly functional as really only beverages would fit so we could not put any leftovers in it. No microwave. The shower is quite small so if you're very tall or wide, you may have a hard time in it. We're both average size and was fine for us. We never had any problems with water pressure or temperature, even though Rome was in the midst of a serious drought. ROOM DOOR MUST BE LOCKED W/ KEY INSIDE AND OUT. NO DEADBOLT, 1 KEY SET. Questionable fire-safety and very inconvenient. Property is in an apartment building with several others (normal in Rome) and is on the 2nd floor. The building door was almost always open but main B & B door stays locked. The staircase is also a little dark so that may be concerning for some people. We never saw anyone not meant to be there in the building and they don't seem to have a major homeless problem in the neighborhood as you may expect elsewhere.The lift is very small! The 2 of us barely fit with our one suitcase. Go to LA Romana for gelato!!

Enjoyable stay in Rome
Maurizio has 3 standard units plus a more luxury? unit on the 2nd floor with its own wing in the building. The rooms are very large and nicely appointed. Included breakfast is sweet for American standards and consists of yogurt, sweet rolls and coffee/chocolate. Maurizio is very helpful and uses an English to Italian translator on his cell to make communication possible. He will arrange taxi over email to or from the airport for ~ 50 euros each way. Like in many older Rome B&B's you receive 3 keys; 1 for the front door, 1 for the entry to the "wing" area where the rooms are at and 1 for the room itself. The area seems safe at night but is about a 10 minute walk to the nearest subway station. No English (CNN or similar) stations seemed to be on the provided cable TV but the provided Internet access was fast and solid. Large Bed was hard (room 3) by American standards. These are basic accommodations with a much larger than average room but I felt they were a great value for the price.

Clean room and very nice area
We stay here for 4 nights. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. Some groceries are downstairs. It is very convenience to all landmarks. US Embassy is near by. Room is very clean and comfortable. The owner Stefano is very friendly to provide map and call taxi service for us. Overall experience are great!

I recomend it to anyone
Our stay was exceptionally great! We were there for 4 days 3 nights and we have nothing to complain about! The breakfast was great, he recieves you with a cake in the room and everything is super clean! The only thing is the entrance that it may be a little old and so is the building but the rest is really good!

Its decent B&B
Its located in a nice, safe neighborhood. B'fast is so so, not great. towels are changed once every 3 days and though its a non-smoking B&B, the owner or the guy works there is smoking in the kitchen... Otherwise, its not a bad place..

Εξαιρετικό το προσωπικό, πολύ καθαρό το δωμάτιο, αξιοπρεπές πρωϊνο, ασφαλής τοποθεσία, με εύκολη πρόσβαση στα ΜΜΜ, εαν η συχνότητα αντικατάστασης των πετσετών ήταν συχνότερη (κάθε δυο ημερες αντί κάθε τρεις) θα άγγιζε το τέλειο (συγκρινόμενης της τιμής του)!

Good B&B Steps From Everything in Rome
My wife and I finished off our Italian adventure with three nights in Rome. Casa di Maurizio was a great value in a even better location, just a few blocks from the Via Veneto. The service follow up prior to our arrival was very personalized in order to get a personalized check in to the B&B. Stefano was extremely accommodating to our breakfast times and was helpful in securing transportation to the airport. The room was small, but sufficient, clean and tidy.

Das Zimmer war sehr schön und sauber,die Lage ist sehr gut. Leider ist es sehr laut in den Zimmern was von dem lauten Straßenverkehr kommt nichts für Lärmempfindliche! Sehr negativ ist das"Frühstück " Was sehr einfach und jeden Tag das gleiche ist.

O B&B é muito bom, quarto espaçoso, café servido no quarto. A região é muito bacana, um bairro excelente e de fácil acesso a tudo. O detalhe fica pelo fato de ser um B&B e só encontrar os responsáveis pela manhã no local.

The location is prime! Although my room was a little noisy, espacially in the morning and the bathroom/showerdoor could have been a little cleaner, I had a great time. The staff was very kind and ready to help with any questions I had. I will book this place again.

Very good service, clean, and spacious room.
Service is very good here. I requested gluten free bread for breakfast which is not common in Italy but to my surprise they provided for me. I am so impressed. The hotel room is very big and they have fridge with bottled water for us. It is very clean. The location is ok but we have to walk a lot to places we want to go and the bed is a little hard.

Superbe Chambre & Service
Le BNB est très confortable : lit 160cm, table, SDB. Les chambres sont calmes et le service est parfait (Merci Stephano). Le quartier est très sympa, à deux pas de la Via Veneto qui dispose de beaucoup de restaurants. Le BNB est à 15-20 min à pied de Termini pour le transfert vers les aéroports. La station de Métro Spagna est à moins de 10 minutes. Très bon séjour pour nous.

Nice boutique hotel
Excellent boutique hotel, very lean and friendly staff. Stefano is more than excellent host. Hotel is located very near the Spanish steps and the city centre!

Sugar and noise
A lot of traffic noise, at least in the room facing both Via Romagna and Via Sicilia. Not a problem for us, but something to consider if you are sensitive. Breakfast: be prepared for a short lasting, low nourishing sugar rush! The Roman way, I suppose, but not what you´re used to as a northener.

God værdi for pengene
Allerede da vi ankom var vi begejstrede for Stefanos (værten) gæstfrihed og venlighed. Værelset var rigtig rent og fint med det, der nu bør være. Det ligger i et forholdsvis stille område ca. 10 min. gang fra den spanske trappe og derfra mange af de andre store seværdigheder (vi bevægede os til fods under hele opholdet). Det var også rigtig fint, at vi hver morgen fik serveret morgenmad på sengen - her var der dog det eneste minus alt i alt - brødet var nogle gange ikke friskt og ret tørt. Men ellers alt i alt et rigtig godt valg til pengene!

Excellent value bearing in mind the price. The host went out of his way to help us, bed was comfortable, wifi good and hot water for a shower. Easy walk to the train station.

Oda konforlu ve temizdi. Otelin lokalizasyonu ulaşım açısından iyiydi. Personel çok ilgiliydi. İlk gün Stefano bize harita verip gideceğimiz yerlerin otobüs ve metrolarını işaretledi. Kahvaltıda tatlı mı tuzlu mu tercih ettiğimizi sordu. Son gün erken çıkmak zorunda olduğumuz için kahvaltı malzemelerimizi, sandviçlerimizi akşamdan odamıza hazırladı. Genel olarak fiyat/hizmet kalitesi iyiydi. Kendimizi evimizde gibi hissettik, tavsiye ediyoruz. Room was clean and comfortable. Localization of the hotel was very good. Staff was very helpful and friendly. In our first day, Stefano gave us a map and explained how we can get to the places which we wanted to go. He asked whether we prefer sweet or salty breakfast menu. Since we had to leave the hotel very early on the last day, he prepared our sandwiches for breakfast on previous day. We felt ourselves at home. Generally, we had a great experience. We are recommending this hotel.

Love the place
We were very pleased to stay at La Casa Di Maurizio, Stefano the owner was very atentive and help us with directions, to print our boarding passes and even call a taxi for us. Theybrought us a tray with breakfast every morning and our room was very clean and very spacious for european standards, we were surprise how big was, same with bathroom.

La Casa di Maurizio är inget hotell utan ett B&B. Med hjälp av karta var det lätt att hitta till. Ca 20 min promenad från Termini. Ägaren och hans hustru är otroligt vänliga och hjälpsamma. Frukosten är typisk italiensk. Består till största delen av bakverk... La Casa di Maurizio ligger i ett bostadshus och för att komma in första dagen får man ringa i porttelefonen. Ägaren hörde av sig via mail veckan innan våran ankomst för att kontrollera vilken tid vi skulle anlända. Rent på rummet, trevligt badrum och ett säkert område, då många ambassader ligger i närheten!... När vi skulle åka hem gick det alldeles utmärkt att be dem beställa en transfer åt oss. Summa summarum, ett mysigt B&B i utkanten av händelsernas centrum!

Vi blev alle hentet af hotellets Limosineservice i lufthavnen, da vi ankom til hotellet blev vi budt velkommen på fortovet af ejeren Stefano. Hver dag serverede Stefano morgenmad på værelset, sørgede for bordreservation til aftenens valgte restaurant og spurgte til vores ve og vel. Vi var meget begejstrede og vil helt sikkert vende tilbage til La Casa Di Maurizio;-)
