We only had one night here, but it is a great place to aslo spend more time - convenient location to everything. Great rooms, beautifully decorated. The shower was top notch too. Will be back

We had an excellent stay at Wild Olive! Tino the manager and all staff were so friendly and helpful. The place is very tidy and nice. Breakfast was awesome. Everything is personalized with so much attention to detail.

Für uns war die Unterkunft perfekt. Sehr schönes Haus mit Pool und liebevoll gepflegtem Garten und mit liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und geleitet. Sehr herzliches Personal mit guter Ortskenntnis und hilfreichen Empfehlungen jeder Art. Es sind bei uns keine Wünsche offen geblieben

Es war einfach nur super! Tolles Zimmer, super Service. Das Frühstück, v.a. das Surprise Omlette, war ein Traum. Man braucht definitiv ein Auto (kann nachts gesichert geparkt werden), da nicht in Nähe der CBD. Aber idealer Ausgangspunkt um die Kaphalbinsel zu erkundigen.

Comfortable Guest House in Newlands
I have stayed at the Wild Olive Guest House on a number of occasions. The standard is consistently very good with staff being pleasant to deal with. As usual the breakfast was excellent. On this occasion I encountered a problem with the TV set in Room 5 and I trust that management will sort this out.

A perfect location for our stay in Cape Town!
We needed a home base and the Olive was perfect. Comfortable, quiet and a nice breakfast. CLEAN and FRIENDLY. At a moderate price. Will stay there again when we revisit Cape Town.

Nice accommodation very poor situation next toroad
When I booked the cottage, garden area, beside pool, I thought this was at REAR when in fact it is at the FRONT of the main house, 20 ft from a busy road. When you sit in garden you are 20ft from lorries cars and the noise of car stereos going THUD THUD, and breathing their fumes. even at night we could hear cars racing down the road or accelerating away (it is one house away from traffic lights), Nice room but poor situation. Had to park in street for first night.

Really good
Very pleasant and helpful staff. Secure parking, nice pool, good WiFi reception and very conveniently placed for the cricket ground at Newlands. We cannot really fault it.

Superbly comfortable Guest House in great location
The welcome from the Staff was excellent and that experience continued - they simply couldn't do enough to make us comfortable. Fruit, biscuits and even a small carafe of Port in the room; a breakfast that we'll struggle to beat anywhere; and additional meals (when requested) superbly cooked and served. Even a picnic (in a cool bag) was suggested by the Staff for our day in Kirstenbosch gardens, which made a wonderful day even better. If we had questions about anything - directions, the best time to visit places, etc - the Staff took time to research and provide very helpful answers. The location of Wild Olive was brilliant from our perspective, a short drive to Cape Town's V & A and easy access to the False Bay coast, and the Airport, with Kirstenbosch just minutes away. The garden was a place to relax with good seats/sunloungers, a shady Gazebo with comfortable sofas/cushions, and a good swimming pool - sadly, access was limited to early or later in the day due to the water shortage, but even the water shortage was well managed with very little inconvience. We simply can't rate the Wild Olive highly enough.

Lovely guesthouse with great access to Cape
The Wild Olive Guest House is well appointed, with delicious breakfasts, comfortable rooms, lounge, and garden area. Everything about this classic, old house is welcoming. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We stayed over the holidays and the rooms had fresh stocks of homemade holiday cookies and chocolates everyday - a very nice touch. Will definitely stay here next time in the Cape.

Very nice place
IT was a great place, helpful staff. The rooms were a good size and well equiped. We were just overnight very pleased. A bit tricky to figure out how to get into the drive way as the area had changed and the gps muddled things up.

Wonderful accommodation for a stay in Cape Town
It was just wonderful staying at the Wild Olive whilst exploring Cape Town. The rooms were perfectly clean, breakfast out of this world and the people running the b&b were more than helpful. If we were to come back, then only here!

Alles bestens!
Wir hatten ein großes Schlafzimmer mit einem Vorzimmer und großem Bad. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Anlage gepflegt. Top Frühstück, da verschiedene warme und kalte Frühstücksvarianten angeboten werden. Anbindung in jegliche Richtung tip top. So sind bspw. der Flughafen oder der Tafelberg nur ca. 20 Autominuten entfernt. Können diese Unterkunft zu 100 % weiter empfehlen.

sauberes Hotel - super Preis mit tollem Frühstück
super Frühstück, nettes Zimmer (ein wenig laut am Morgen), genügend Platz für 3 Personen für die Dürre in Cape Town (daher Pool nur eingeschränkt nutzbar, Dusche max. 3 Minuten zu benutzen) konnte das Hotel nichts, allerdings keine Wertung des Pools möglich sehr freundliches und hilfreiches Personal insgesamt sauber und ordentlich, der Austausch der Toilettenbürste im Cottage wäre kein Luxus

Excellent staff, brilliant breakfast, quiet garden
Most warm welcome and the staff were absolutely second to none with nothing being too much trouble. Breakfast choice and service was excellent in a room which pleasantly opened right out to the peaceful garden with pool. The garden and pool area were immaculately maintained and a variety of comfortable seating was available. Free wi-fi was available throughout the property, inclusive of the garden. This was a perfect guest house for the thirteen night stay we required for our voluntary work, but we would have preferred to upgrade to a room within the main house had this been available. There is a cottage alongside the pool in the garden, which seemed to really appeal to small families with young children.

Just the right distance
A lovely safe B&B a short drive from downtown Cape Town. Easy to find on the way from the airport. We were greeted in a friendly and professional way. Our room very cozy yet huge. The one thing that took us by surprise was the door between the bedroom and the bathroom. Beeing Scandinavians used to privacy a partially unstained glassdoor feels a bit awkward but easily solved with one of us going to the nice honestybar/WiFi area ;) The breakfast was plentiful and fresh including a good choice of hot items.

Wonderful Experience
We were given an upgrade to the pool room which was lovely. We ordered dinner there for two nights and was a great value. Food was delicious and fresh. Staff was helpful in booking excursions and breakfast was prepared early on day of departure. They went above and beyond to make our staff a pleasure. Next time we are in Cape Town, we will stay there.
