We just one night as we’re you were passing thru . We didn’t expect fancy but the room has very run down …. Peeling paint , window that wouldn’t close properly , cold shower , old bed and bedding, limited towels ,The staff was kind and helpful but the conditions of the property were rough . That being said, the view of Madera beach , as always, is breathtaking .

Such a beautiful hotel! The landscaping, the view, the colors and all the sun and moon detailing made this a stay to remember. Easy access to the beach and boardwalk was the cherry on top.

Casa Sun and Moon is a very nice property. It’s in my favorite area to stay, very convenient. The staff that manages the hotel are very friendly and helpful. It should be noted that the double rooms all share a common balcony and the king suite only has a tiny balcony big enough for a chair. I don’t think that is clear on the website. The rooms are very comfortable (the beds here are always hard). Bonus- the shower is great!!! I would definitely stay here again.

Las fotos son engañosas, las habitaciones son bastante viejas, las camas rechinan cada que te mueves. Me tocó la habitación 1 y 4, la 1 es peor que la 4 jaja no sé si las demás estén en mejores condiciones. Sin embargo el personal es muy amable, todo está muy limpio y es agradable para descansar. La alberca está limpia, el aire acondicionado sirve y tienen refrigerador, aparte de tener una cocineta para los huéspedes y utencilios de cocina que pueden usar todos. Lo malo es que la entrada es hasta las 3 y si llegas antes tienes que dejar las maletas en recepción. Tienen un gatito hermoso y los demás huéspedes extranjeros son muy agradables :)

Location right on beach and overlooking beach and town. Pool was clean and very comfortable temperature to swim in. Secure gated parking was available across the street at the reception area of the Casa's sister hotel where clients check in. Room size was large, bed comfort was similar to other Mexican hotels. Easy walk to numerous restaurants including Lety's. Would return. Great value.

Muy tranquilo, agradable y limpio. La logística es media compleja al inicio ya que la recepción está en otro hotel, al igual que el restaurante, aunque es frente a la casa sun and moon, siempre si hay que estár de un lado al otro para solicitar algo adicional. Pero muy agusto la estancia.

We loved the view, and the convince. Unfortunately, there was no morning coffee provided. When we checked in we were not told about all we had access to so we struggled with navigation. As Canadians who have very little Spanish, it made communication difficult. This was on us and had nothing to do with the staff, it did unfortunately hinder the ease of checking in and out. What we didn't like was the room next to ours had the music blasting all night. As the room had door access, there was no filter and no one to tell them to turn it down or off. This made us leave the hotel a day early at the loss of our money.

My husband and I always enjoy staying here whenever we come to Zihuatanejo. Sweet little place with a mix of tourists from USA, Canada, and Mexico. Very convenient for walking the town and beaches.

The ambience of the place and location is not very good, hard to find it also the checking is on another place same with the food restaurant, we have to leave day early because we weren’t happy with all those services

Excelente vista al mar cómodo y buena ubicacion
Muy agradable experiencia, el hotel tiene muy buena vista al mar ya que se encuentra a pie de playa. Aunque sólo tiene 1 alberca con esa basta, tiene un área bajita para niños y puedes disfrutarla hasta las 10 pm. Se encuentra muy cerca del centro, de la central de autobuses, de la Comer, del mercado (donde se come muy rico y económico) ya sea que vayas en auto o en transporte público también está accesible. Si llevas auto llegas en 20 minutos a Ixtapa así que puedes dormir en Soon and Moon en Zihua y disfrutar en el día las atracciones de Ixtapa. Les recomiendo visitar isla Coral que se cruza en lancha y está muy bonita se come muy rico. El hotel cuenta con 2 restaurantes ubicados cruzando la calle en otro hotel que también es de ellos, bajando del hotel hay enramadas donde se puede comer pero no les recomiendo la enramada "La Rana" la comida es fea y cara, busquen otras opciones. Al entrar a las habitaciones huele un poco a humedad pero ya de rato se acostubra, no es molesto, y las habitaciones tienen aire acondicionado y un pequeño refrigerador; también una cocineta por si alguien quiere preparar alimentos y ahorrar un poco. Las fotos que aparecen en la página son reales, se tiene muy buena vista del pasillo afuera de las habitaciones, hay hamacas para ver el mar incluso dentro de las habitaciones se escucha cómo rompen las olas, es una experiencia muy grata y el precio no es tan alto como en los hoteles de Ixtapa, aunque yo viajé en navidad cuando todos suben los precios.
