Good stay for the price
Excellent and very quick customer service, answering the phone right away and allowing late check in. It didn’t feel the most safe of a place to sleep (although we did a late night check in so maybe that was why) but it was near the beach and it was clean.

You pay for what you get. We didn’t expect flash at that price. Just needed a bed. It was clean. Central. And the staff were accomodating. Would stay again.

Good location
Basic accomodation. Shower had a constant drip making room smell a little wet. Room probably needs a fresh coat of paint but room did the job. Good location. Nice and quiet place to stay.

Not what it seemed online. Did not stay as the room was stuffy, unclean and just not ok for a small family to stay in. If I was a backpacker at 18yrs old, would have been fine.

Not the best
No one was there to check us in we were left standing in the rain. Manager was eventually located and were were checked in after 1.5 hours. Room was very small and it rained through the roof onto the very slippery tiles. Wouldn't recommend and won't be back.

This was a budget choice and was fine for what we paid. Really close to public transport, restaurants and cafes, BEACH, a short walk into Manly and the ferry. No air con but there were fans in room. Our room had an en-suite and slept 4. Towels were old but seemed clean as was the bedding. It’s no 5star but considering where it’s located and how inexpensive it was we had no complaints. Cheap and cheerful.

Stained towels and bed sheets, No soap. Dirty kitchen. Took ages somebody open the door when we were on time for our check in, if you need any kind of assistance, nobody was arround

学会への出張で使わせていただきました。 慣れない海外で不安でいっぱいでしたが、オーナーの人当たりがよく、親切にしていただいたので助かりました。 セキュリティにおいても、まずホテルに入るのに鍵が必要で、自身の部屋に入るのにも鍵が必要なので安心でした。 部屋が広く、床やベッドが清潔感があってよかったです。 ただし、シャンプーやパジャマが無いことは事前に知りたかったです。 あと部屋履きを用意しておけば良かったです。

Está bien ubicado a dos cuadras de la playa, la ducha bien, la puerta del baño no cerraba, cero privacidad. Hubo gente excedida de alcohol a los gritos y llantos hasta la madrugada. La barbacoa y el horno eléctrico no funcionaban. Estuvimos 10 días.

Stayed for a week and had to Ask for new towels, toilet paper etc. Was not cleaned once and no supplies were offered for us to do it ourselves either. Room was okay and clean at arrival, but service was no good.

Disappointing.
Our bathroom light wouldn't turn on at all one night, had to use my phone to use the toilet and shower. Major problems with the plumbing, our shower pipes and neighbouring room shower pipes banged really loud when in use, waking my child. A major defect with electricity, the main ceiling light in the bedroom making an electrical sound and flickering like the bathroom light before it stopped working. The bathroom light switch made a static type sound when turned on and off. Staff didn't seem to be too concerned. I was honestly quite happy to be leaving as I felt unsafe for my family staying here. On the upside it was close proximity to everything which was great and inexpensive which is what we needed as we were only in Sydney for our child's medical appointments and could not afford much.

Clean and reasonabley quiet stay for shared accommodation. 12min walk to manly ferry. Roof was a lttle low in areas of the family room for 6" person. Reasonably priced

I had to stay one night and had to check in late and checkout early. Staff were very friendly and everything was very well organised. They even let me use council free parking permit.

Stayed with 3 friends and the convenient of walking to beach and cafes was great. Stayed in a family room standard which was comfortable. I didn't mind sharing the bathroom with another room but my friends would of preferred their own bathroom. I would stay again and recommend Manly Beach House to friends.

We were in a small room. There is a shared restroom at the back of the house, and a shared kitchen area. The condition was fine, nothing fancy. No air conditioning, but there was a fan in the room. We called ahead for late check in, and the street parking was available. Pricey given what you’re getting, but that’s the price of staying near manly I suppose.

The double room with en-suite we stayed in was basic but functional. It was a small room which for our one night stay was no problem. The bed was comfortable and the lady at the front desk very friendly

The check in was between 2 - 4pm. We knew we couldn't make it so we rang ahead. The owner said she would leave the key in the letterbox. It wasn't there when we arrived. There was another guest trying to check in. We knocked and rang. After about ten mins someone answered the door and let us in. The place was pleasant but the towels were very old and worn. No bathmat was supplied.

As we agreed by phone, if there was no one in the house to welcome you, I would leave the key in our mailbox, but I was in the house waiting for you. I'm sorry about the bell, we're fixing that problem. About bathmat, as you stayed in a room with shared bathroom, the bathmat was in the bathroom. Your are welcome back anytime!

Dear Guest. Thank you for taking your time to review your stay with us. As we advertise, we have limited complimentary onsite parking and is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so maybe when you stayed with us the parking was full. When it happens, we can loan a permit for street parking that is available throughout the neighbourhood. We have some common areas (kitchen, living room and backyard). The backyard is closed every night from 09:30pm and kitchen/living room are always open, but we ask for the guests to reduce the noise to a minimum after 9:30pm. About shower head, thank you for let me know, we’ll check about it. You are welcome back anytime!

Amazing hotel in a quiet area close to the beach!
I had a great stay at Manly Beach House. The place is really nice, clean and well equipped. The staff is very friendly and super helpful and flexible. It has all necessary amenities around and is located in a quiet area close to the beach and within walking distance from the Corso. I would definitely stay here again!

Room was in dire need of maintenance- guests inconsiderate of others eg talking at 12:30 midnight in common room like it was the middle of the day. Had to ask to get a fan for our room

Dear Guest, thanks for your feedback and I'm sorry you didn't have a good experience in our guest house. We are planning a maintenance in this room to change the baseboard. About the noise, we have a rule to reduce the noise to a minimum after 09:30pm and I'm sorry you've heard talking. During the stay all the guests are free to talk with our manager who lives on site. She is always available to assist all guests.

Great location within walking distance to everything. Communal Kitchen organized and clean facilities. Only downside is that sadly not all house guests respect the quiet rule after 9.30pm and every night on our 3 night stay was rudely interrupted on numerous occasions with slamming doors, loud late night talking and people cooking at 2.00pm. At least 3 times every night a guest would yell out abuse from their room to give the perpetrators the hint but to no avail. Disappointing as it could of been perfect had it not been for that.
