Hello, Thank you for your review. When we are finished with our renovations you will surely not think of us as old any longer. It is going to be beautiful. As we are an actual tourist destination versus a pass through town, our prices do tend to be a bit higher in all town lodging establishments. Better rates can be found in Bishop, Big Pine, and Independance and during our slower times such as Oct/Nov. We look forward to seeing you again.
