Unfortunately you would need to contact Expedia for a refund as that is beyond the control of the property since they didn't have access to your original method of payment. In addition, if the hotel wasn't informed that you Departed early and you stayed checked into the room in the system the reservation would not be considered checked out early. Most of these types of guests are smoking outside but the smell lingers and gets tracked through the building. Additionally, the Microtel Brand only offers a complimentary continental breakfast. Which, by definition, traditionally consists of cereal, baked goods, coffee, and juice. We attempt to go above the brand by offering a variety of items such as yogurt, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, and several other items.
