Overall, our stay was wonderful, BUT...we tried for three days to get our air conditioner looked at with no success. The room never got cool to the point of being comfortable. Complaints to the front desk went unheeded. Everything else about the resort, the island, and our trip was great.

I liked the beach and some staff was nice but majority was not nice. The food was great though but there was a long waiting time and also the staff often forgot my order. My room had a roach in it and it wasn't the cleanest.

The air conditioning system didn't work for the whole 5 days we were there. We had to ask for portable fans to help cool us down at night-time. False advertising, the pictures are all photo shopped and facilities need major work. Not a big variety on food, buffet for breakfast is ok and i must shout out to Natalie that works the breakfast buffet always made sure we got seats and she remembered what my family drank and on the days my lids couldn't dine in she wrapped their food

Staff was amazing and overall we had a great time but the buildings and rooms could definitely use some renovation and updating. We had water dripping from a vent on our ceiling and our friends room had no air conditioning. The beach is wonderful and we don’t spend much time in the room so we still had a great time!

The Sunscape Curacao has one of the best beaches near Willemstad. The proximity to Mambo Beach & Blvd make it a great location and only 10 minutes bus from Willemstad. The pool is beautiful against the Caribbean Sea and the Sun Club private pool is a bonus. The buffet at World Cafe had a nice variety of food.The night time entertainment could be a bit more elaborate and the a la carte restaurants could be a bit more upscale. The room was nice but I would have preferred a stronger A/C. Overall, an excellent place to stay for convenience and friendly people.

Excellent location. Beach is lovely even though it’s a little rocky in some locations. Entertainment is excellent; bingo, daily auctions, carnival, shows every night. Their entertainment crew is really excellent. The pools are great. The rooms are extremely dated. The property looks nice but the rooms look very old. They have free kayaking, paddle boating and snorkeling gear included in the hotel stay, which is nice. Beautiful fish to view in the water. Food really needs work. The quality and variety of the food was not great. My son has allergies to eggs and everyday he had cereal and milk, which we brought with us thankfully. Nothing has labels in the hotel and the staff are not very aware of the severity of allergies. They say things like, “it shouldn’t have eggs!” How can we take that risk? Martin the chef was great and he tried his best to get fresh food made for my son but even he was out of breakfast options since the hotel items like bread, pancake mix, pasta and pizza etc all had eggs. The dinners were better as there were always the option of grilled meat or grilled fish and rice. Martin made beef patties for him and chicken shawarma etc. which was excellent for lunch. Food is pretty much the same options each night and lunch time too, so it can get a little repetitive. They randomly close restaurants without updating the app, which is unfortunate. Service is slow but it is the same for all islands in my experience. Balconies are just for one person to stand.

The location was perfect with its own private piece of the pristine beach. Staff were extremely friendly/helpful and I felt very safe on & off the premises (I would not mind coming back alone). I enjoyed being able to go from the beach to the pool & vice versa. The food was great but the alcohol inventory can def use an upgrade even if it cannot be premium/VIP status (perhaps those can use a refresh as well and move those bottles to the non VIP population). Entertainment was just right and enjoyable. Property can use some upgrade. The room was extremely spacious but can also use an upgrade. Overall I was very satisfied with my stay.

The staff at this resort was very rude and lacked common manners. This resort also needs more activities to cater to all guest young and old. I came to celebrate my 25th and it did not give birthday, it was quite boring actually. The only staff that was great was NORMA & SHAYRON. They were amazing and made me feel very welcomed!

Great quick getaway vacation. The protected cove for snorkeling was a big plus. The food was good but don’t expect 5 star restaurants. Plenty of activities for anyone interested. The all inclusive option is a huge $ saver. I would recommend.

The staff here were so friendly but service for the most part was very slow. Facilities were very clean and safe, pools were very nice and the beach was very clean and absolutely beautiful. Sun Club - not worth it at all. The service was etremely slow. The “private bar’ with “premium alcohol” - not really a thing. The bar was not a fully stocked bar at all and the service was SO slow. It’s actually more worth it to walk up the beach to the other bars. Also, our room was not cleaned - beds were only made and the fridge was not stocked for 3 days despite calling down 4 times and requesting it to be stocked. This is just a warning to not spend the money on the Sun Club. One other point - when we were checking in, it took forever. We waited over an hour with two people ahead of us and we were not allowed to go to the front desk to check-in even though there were no guests there at all. Very disappointing.

We loved our stay. The all-inclusive food & drinks were good and plentiful, and towels were never an issue. The biggest pleasant surprise was that the hotel beach was lovely and very spacious, not only for good swimming but for some very good snorkeling! We snorkeled every day and saw a great variety of fish types.

This is an all inclusive resort but the food at all of the restaurants at Sunscape were horrible, especially the Italian restaurant. Just bad. Thank GOD Mambo Beach was 10min walking distance. We had to leave the resort that we paid for an All Inclusive experience to get decent meals at Mambo Beach. The staff were friendly and nice, but very forgetful. The food court was the only breakfast location and was dirty. There were spills on the floor. I even witnessed one of the workers slip and almost fall while waking. And even after that, it still wasn’t cleaned up. For the tables, instead of using a regular salt shaker, they placed small cups of salt, uncovered on each table. Mind you, they had black pepper shakers. The drinks were severely watered down. I’m not even much of a drinker. But after 3 drinks and feeling absolutely nothing, I quickly realized, they’re watering down the drinks to stretch the alcohol. They didn’t even have bandaids. I accidentally cut my finger and went to the front desk to ask for a first aid kit. They didn’t even have bandaids. I literally had to buy bandaids from the gift shop. At night, the rooms smelled like sewage, (poop). The entertainment was great. Beach was beautiful. The bathrooms are small. Room was fine. Wouldn’t recommend.

We were not impressed with this property. We couldn’t get a room with two beds as we requested until there were two days left of our stay and then only after demanding to see a manager and coming back 3 times to the desk. The food was awful in the buffet and long waits for other restaurants. There were pigeons eating off tables and they ran out of flavors of ice cream daily. We had to request pillow cases for the pillows and to get enough towels. Bottled was supposed to be replaced in minibar daily and most days we had to call for water multiple times to get it. Property was not clean. Bedding was stained and there was no sheet between comforter and myself. I cannot guarantee our room was cleaned before we used it. This is not a 4 star resort. The beach was the best part. It had a beautiful view and the water was calm. The massages we received were excellent and worth the cost. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and multilingual. We do not think the issues with the resort are due to them. We think the resort is poorly managed.

The beach is the crowning jewel of this property. That’s the nicest thing I will say about this place and even that is not given any careful attention. Palapas falling apart, lounge chairs that are very worn or broken, pool umbrellas with holes in them pool/beach towels are old, faded and fraying. Food here is mediocre at best. The buffet restaurant never has silverware- especially spoons and when you ask for a spoon they give you a plastic one. The rooms are motel-like. Which is not a terrible thing for me as I don’t spend much time in the room. However, there was a musty, moldy smell & when I looked up at the ceiling, there was water damage from the roof. In the bathroom (which hasn’t been updated since 1968) the shower handle that operates the water broke off in my hands & it took 4 days to get it fixed. The leak in the ceiling was never attended to nor was my request to move to another room. Staff is friendly- no sense of urgency Sunscape has a good location- far enough away from the cruise ship port in Willemstad but close enough for a $2 van ride into town. With all the newer hotels being built and already operating within walking distance of this place, the Sunscape looks old, tired and tacky. Curacao is an amazing country full of wonderful, friendly people, culture, music and food and is a beautiful place to visit. My husband and I frequented many local restaurants that were amazing! So definitely visit Curaçao but maybe think twice before you book Sunscape.
