It’s a lovely resort with great staff. It’s a bit unlucky that the restaurant is under renovation now but we can still find some good restaurants nearby.

We loved all of the the staff who were all very friendly and accomodating! We loved how quiet the property was. The units are spacious. We liked having full kitchen and laundry in the unit. Liked the patio and balcony. Loved that all the windows had moterized sun shades. The swimming pools were all fantastic. There was ample sun bathing spots. Liked access to the main bar. The units are in need of an update. Poorly patched holes in the walls, couches stained and had rips in upholstery. Furniture was old and needs an update to the decor. The restuarant only served one fixed dinner meal. The bar menu for food was mediocore.

Gut ausgestattet Wohnung. Würde jederzeit wieder kommen. Jedoch braucht man ein Auto, da es in einem kleinen Nebenort liegt. Sehr ruhige Lage.

The cleanliness of the room was not the best because there was a serious ant problem in our room. The shower in the main room floods pretty easily and we have used towels to clean up the mess. The staff did not want to replace the towels because they are a “green hotel” and was reluctant to do so until I insisted strongly for new towels. Getting dinner at the hotel is difficult… you need reservations and it should be DAYS in advanced. They did not give suggestions for alternatives and offered us “snacks” instead. We had a baby with us, so many of these things were just very inconvenient. If you’re staying at this hotel, I would recommend getting a car since it is not the best location and not near anything.

I’ve stayed in several resorts all over the Algarve and Vale da Lapa Village Resort has to be my favourite to date. From the accommodations to the service to the food, everything was amazing. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. It has a very homely feel, the other guests were super friendly, it almost felt like home away from home. Location wise it’s a 15/20 minute drive into Portimão which isn’t bad at all. Not too far from Albufeira either. There’s a small supermarket a 5 minute walk away which is super convenient. Easily 10/10. Will most definitely stay here again and tell all my friends! Thank you to all the staff for making our stay a memorable one. ❤️

Amazing, we loved the Villa, the staff were super helpful and friendly. The Villa was spotless and they serviced the room daily. The gardens are well maintained and beautifully planted. We used the restaurant and the bar to eat, on a couple of occasions and the food is excellent. Although we chose to self cater mostly. The breakfast is superb and plates of fresh fruit cheese and meats were brought to the table. I would say a car is probably a must as about 30 mins walk from Carvoeiro, although we used the free tourist train, as coming back is uphill.

From our arrival to departure, the staff provided excellent services. Shout out to Pedro Mendes and Luisa Albuquerque: these staff were awesome during our checking-in. They were very professional, caring, kind and helpful. Our visit to the Spa was great, the lady gave me a good massage. The property's ambience is top-notch! It's not too far from Portamaio and Carvreos Beachs. Everyone in my party love that resort, and we will be back.

Wspaniałe wyposażenie wilii, wygodne łóżko, pralka, zmywarka, rolety, moskitiera, garderoba. Piękne otoczenie, śpiewające nocą ptaki i żaby. Zadbany ogród. Bardzo pomocna obsługa, zarówno w recepcji, jak i restauracji. Przepyszne śniadania, można poprosić obsługę o przygotowanie dodatkowych potraw, np. omleta czy sałatki. Czuliśmy się fantastycznie. Jedynie willa wymaga odświeżenia (nieco zniszczone meble w salonie) i większej dbałości o czystość. Uważam, że ręczniki powinny być wymieniane na życzenie, natomiast podłogi przemywane odrobinę częściej. Aczkolwiek te niedogodności nie wpływają na jakość pobytu i z pewnością tam wrócimy.

Boa opção para famílias num Algarve mais tranquilo
Excelente opção para famílias, próximo ao Carvoeiro. Boa piscina para relaxar na volta da praia e bom espaço e condições dos aptos (ficamos num T2). De carro, menos de 10min do centrinho do Carvoerio e de outras praias da região.
