A rather complicated entrance / exit for non technical residents. Lots of stairs inside the building for the elderly. Fab views and the best omelette ever !!! We will return.

Beautiful place, nice staff. A bit of a walk to beach & restaurants, 10-15 min. And further to Point. Very cheap to get Uber back. If you want quiet here, you have it.

We werden goed ontvangen door de receptie. Het hotel ligt wat van het centrum, dus je moet met de auto of lopen naar de activiteiten. We hebben een mooie trail gelopen, de start 15 minuutjes van het hotel. Hoewel het personeel aardig is en het hotel schoon, waren er wel wat zaken qua interieur die je wenkbrauwen doen fronsen. Ze hebben bijvoorbeeld blauwe plastic ijsblokjes in de jus en melk bij het buffet, wat er onsmakelijk uitziet. De plastic plantjes op tafel en de bijzondere aankleding maakt het af. Geen slecht hotel, maar zeker ook niet de beste. De stijle entree is met de auto een uitdaging als deze weinig power lijkt te hebben.

We stayed here as a last minute booking. It clean, comfortable and safe. Great section for breakfast and the member of staff was really friendly and helpful.

Stunning views
The guest house was excellent with the views over the harbour stunning. The service provided by the hostess was excellent and she never hesitated to see to our needs quickly and efficiently. We stayed in the Penthouse suite and the only complaint is that the decor was perhaps a little outdated. However, this would not change our minds to stay there again if we were in Mossel Bay

Good, not great.
The staff at this property were friendly and accommodating. No issues on that front. Unfortunately the hotel is starting to show its age, so that should be noted. The room was clean(ish), and spacious. I believe it was a family room (just outside the ‘Honest Bar’). And yes you read that correctly. Picture the bar in your uncle’s basement. Straight out of the 1990’s. When we checked in the front desk staff informed me of the broken WiFi. It was super inconvenient, but at least they were honest and up front.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der oberen Etage und hatten daher einen super Ausblick auf die Mossel Bay. Zimmer war sehr sauber. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen war, dass man Gespräch auf dem Flur bzw. vom Empfangsbereich durch die Tür im Zimmer hören konnte. Zum Glück war das Guest House kaum belegt, so dass es letztendlich nicht sehr störend war. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und gut.

Warm, friendly, clean and modern.
Fabulous! We were greeted upon arrival by three lovely young ladies who made us feel welcome immediately. They were very helpful with info. On where to eat and within minutes had booked our free shuttle to the restaurant of our choice. We received a free upgrade and stayed in a beautiful room with a lovely view. Breakfast was delicious and never ending coffee from the espresso machine was a bonus. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Loved the guest house and all it offered. Small details like free beach towels and restaurants offering free shuttle service made the whole experience easy and very enjoyable.

Perfect for us
Located in the upper street of Mossel bay, the hotel is a modern one. The rooms are clean with a view. The breakfast is good. Just be careful if you have heavy luggage as there are stairs to go from one level to another with no elevator.

The room was beautiful and pristinely clean. Views were amazing! The staff was lovely and the best part was a very convenient shuttle to take you to and from the restaurants as the roads are very hilly and difficult to drive. Also our driver gave us a nice history lesson as he drove us around. A must stay. And great value.

Bar -t -Nique is a lovely guest house. Great service, good breakfast and clean comfortable rooms. It’s a little walk to the centre of town but the guest house will call shuttles. Mossel Bay itself was not what we expected.

Excellent views
Tucked away in the hillside, this hotel has excellent views of the town and the sea. Only a short walk/drive into the town centre. Breakfast was good.
