가격에 비해 이상하게 방에 화장실이 없었고, 공용으로 쓰는 화장실에 가보니까 전등이 켜지지 않고 있어서 놀랐습니다. 어두운 곳에서 샤워도 하고 세수도 하려니 황당하드리구요.

가장 저렴한 1인실 방을 사용했는데 하룻밤 지내기에는 괜찮았어요. 화장실이 공용인 부분이 아쉬웠지만 잠깐씩 사용하기에 큰 불편은 없었습니다. 아침식사 맛있었고, 어디든 다니기 좋은 위치라 편하게 여행 잘하고 돌아갑니다.

무난한 호텔
욕실이 포함된 숙소를 예약하였으나, 공용욕실 방을 줘서 이의를 제기한 후, 욕실 딸린 방을 받았습니다. 왜 그런 착오가 있었는지 명확하지 않으나, 제공받은 방은 괜찮았습니다. 시내를 중심으로 칼든힐 뒤쪽에 있으며, 8시부터 제공되는 아침식사가 훌륭했습니다. 오래된 건물이라 엘리베이터는 없습니다.

아주 만족스러운 숙박이었습니다
아주 만족스러웠습니다. 숙소 청결상태도 좋았고, 무엇보다 서비스가 마음에 들었습니다. 다만 위층에 머무실 경우 엘리베이터가 없어 무거운 짐을 들고 오르락내리락하시기 힘들수 있는데, 체크인/체크아웃 두번만 참으니 나머지는 전혀 불편한것이 없었습니다.

정말 좋은 호텔 !!
방, 화장실 모두 너무 깨끗하고 스탭분들도 굉장히 친절했습니다. 아침도 정말 맛있었고요, 마지막날은 제가 체크아웃을 일찍 해야한다고 미리 말하니 간단하게 먹고 갈수있게 준비도 해주셨고요. 위치는 로얄마일에서 조금 떨어져있어서 짐들고 가기에는 약간 거리감이 있었습니다. 캐리어 없이는 충분히 걸을만하고요, 칼튼힐은 바로 앞에 있어요.

스텝분들이 모두 친절하셔서 처음인 해외여행에 어렵지 않게 지낼 수 있었다. 조식은 레스토랑 형태로 좋았으며 관광지도랑 갈만한 곳을 말씀해 주셔서 편하게 여행할 수 있었다. 방은 깨끗했으며 욕실도 청결했다. 호텔은 조금 오래되긴 했지만 깔끔하고 단정해서 지내기 좋았다. 뒷편엔 정원도 있고 와이파이도 잘되는 편. 새벽일찍 나갈 시엔 조식을 저녁에 미리 준비해 주셔서 새벽에 배고프지 않게 일정을 진행 할 수 있었다. 다음에 에든버러를 여행한다면 또 묵고싶은 곳. 여건이 안되서 팁을 못두고 나온게 계속 후회됨. // 엘리베이터가 없기 때문에 계단을 통해 짐을 알아서 옮겨야 함. 맨 꼭대기 층이어서 쪼오금? 힘들었다.

Yes I’d stay again
Hotel is in a very nice a quiet area of Edinburgh, although super central to everything. The room was lovely and big. Shower bit small. Lots of tea and coffee supplied. Yes those stairs lol will be requesting a lower floor next time I stay. Didn’t get down for breakfast as it was between 8-9 and I feel that’s was tooo early. Staff I met were very nice and helpful too!

-Good location. Very easy to park. Free at weekends. -Hotel advert states continental breakfast and award winning chef. Breakfast was woeful and required no cooking. Not sure why award winning chef advertised. -See photo attached. Room freezing and heater not safe. Plug red hot to touch. -Beds broken and very uncomfortable to sleep on. -Staff did not wear masks. Social distancing not adhered to.

Needs a deep clean.
First got there hour early but was told on phone by a woman we could leave bags and go back. Man at door said well you cant come in yet we still doing rooms! I said i know we were told we could leave bags. Didnt introduce himself still dont know his name. Small man but i felt quite abrubt. When we finally checked in, the room looked lovely what you would need beds, kettle, shower,but on inspection wow just wow.the dust in room was horrendous. All skirting boards were full of dust,must not of been dusted for months and months. I have asthma and my chest was bad straight away. I could feel dust settling on my face. We could not leave drinks either as the dust would settle on top of drink it was discusting. It is a shame as the place and building was lovely just needed a good deep clean.. i did mention it to a man with a walking stick and he said aw ok.the tissue in photo was of a small area on skirting board..the room was large room so you can imagine the dust/dirt i would of cleaned. I emailed patricia i think the name was on email but had no response at all. So writing this reveiw..We paid ALOT of money for us to just want to be back home where it was clean. With covid going on you would think the rooms had a deep clean etc as it states on website. Its false advertising as the sheets were only pulled back and that was it. No hoover nothing.Im afraid i would not reccomended this hotel. I had to take inhaler so many times.. the window we couldnt open either. So dissapointed!

Dissapointed.
We were in room 10 at the top of the hotel lucikly we were fit enough to carry our bags up. It was clean and well decorated but it really needs upgraded...no TV and three single beds. We couldn't believe that they couldn't be bothered to install a tv but had two old 1970's intercoms with radio's that didn't even work but were still live. The shutter over one window was badly split snd ready to fall off. This is just laziness and doing the minimum they can get away with. With loads of hotels to choose from i would pick somewhere else next time.

3-stjärnig med bra läge (lugnt).
Bra läge - 10 min gångväg från spårvagnen till flyget. Tyst o lugnt område. Hyfsat frukost i 'continental' stil. Ingen hiss, bara trappor! Obemannad reception - man får ringa o vänta en stund, men servicen var vänlig. Huset i behov av uppfräschning. Bra valuta för pengarna, men inte mer än 3-stjärnig.

Family run
Stay for one night. Lovely Contenetal breakfast lovely laid tables. Only down fall no lift if carrying heavy luggage up stairs and drains in our room was stinking. Everything we needed was there including hairdryer cosy blankets.

Pleasant hotel, no telly though just in case you like one in your room, there's a nice lounge with one and loads of books to read to though . most of the rooms are on upper floors and there's no lift so bear that in mind if you struggle with stairs.

Great location, 5-10 min walk to the Playhouse, Shops, Restaurants. Parking on the street, it gets busy and chargeable between certain days/hours. Basic breakfast of toast, cereal, fruit. Clean and well priced for the location.

Location friendly
Nice location, very wide road and plenty of paid parking. Friendly welcome and fantastic continental breakfast. Lovely room no lift but good exercise to climb stairs. Have recommended to friends

Very good city centre location. Reasonable room (although no windows) but the lack of a tv was a bit strange. Water flow on hot tap also a little slow. Breakfast was continetal only. No lift, so a walk up about 4 floors would not be ok for someone older. Lovely victorian property. Wifi very slow.

The hotel is ideally situated and a short walk into Edinburgh centre. Staff are polite and friendly, as is the owner who directed me where to go for shops, pubs and bars. A great location.

Good place for a 1 night stay in edinburgh for a reasonable price and good location. Room was simple but comfortable enough. Breakfast was ok, but cooked breakfast needed more variety - black pudding and tattie scones!!

Their website states that check in time is between 2 pm and 10 pm, other time needs to be arranged in advanced. Since my arrival definitely later than 10 pm, so I was trying to contact them half day in advance and arranging a late check in. However, I emailed them twice and called 4 times, no one even pick up the phone. Finally, when I called the fifth time, the reception finally picked it up and told me the reception would wait for me. I arrived around 10:50 pm, however I didn’t see any staff inside and the door was locked, I tried knock on the door but no one response. Then I saw a notice states that ‘ring the door bell for attention’, so I rang the bell once, but still no one came out, I waited for 10 minutes and then I called them again but still no one pick up the phone. I was so exhausted after a 4 and half hours journey on the train. I then rang the bell two more times. Finally, one staff came out, but the first thing after he opened the door was yelling at me! Said I would wake up all other guests, I should just rang the bell once! I was so shocked by his behavior, I rang once and called once, and waited for 10 minutes, no one even came out! Why I should not rang again! That was really ridiculous! THAT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. They have 14 bedrooms in total, states on the website, with SHARED TOILET, but ONLY ONE!!! And the lock was broken!!! Another guest just easily pushed the door open when I was using the toilet!

Not what you book.
Booked a single room with own bathroom for £62, there was a cheaper option of a twin room but had a shared bathroom,I didnt want to share a bathroom. Anyway after checking in and told which room to head to it didnt have its own bathroom,it was next door.I thought ah well thats not too bad as long as its just for my use,but no..i heard a few folk walking past at all hours going to the bathroom. Now i know its no massive deal but if you book something you expect it dont you. Place was really noisy at 6am on a Sunday morning with bumping and doors banging. Very quick to take payment from my card too. Just really disappointed.

Fantastic place to stay with well furnished and uplifting quality rooms and the breakfast is outstanding. They even helped to make sure I had breakfast early morning so that I was fed before getting my return trip back home. I would definitely stay here again.

部屋に窓がない。TVもない。部屋が４FなのにLIFT（エレベーター）がなく。トランクを運ぶのに苦労をした。TVは２Fのラウンジに所行かなく。いちいち見に行かなければならなかった。朝食は普通。レストランは、徒歩１０分程度の所には多くある（にぎやかなPicaddelyに近い）

リフトがなかったうえに、最上階だったので、荷物の持ち運びが大変でした。 おまけに水の出が悪くて困りました。 ただ、朝食時の皆さんの対応は素晴らしかったです。おいしかった。
