These are vital for proper ventilation in our bathrooms however can be turned off if they cause noise disturbance.We hope this has not deterred you from staying with us again and we hope to welcome you again soon!Kind Regards,Heywood House Hotel

Staff were very helpful and pleasant, our room was spotless and the location is perfect walking distance from pubs clubs etc yet far enough away for a quiet nights sleep.

Tatty room needs repairs and replacements
Booked a superior double and young man on reception was great. Sadly room let down by cracks in sink and floor. Bluetooth speaker not working but still nailed to desk. Stain on sheets. And bottom of bath stained. Paint peeling on almost every accent in the room and bathroom. Sink took over a minute to train clearly blocked or needs repair. Should have been addressed before allocating room to us. Thermostat also would reset in the night so had to get up to turn the temperature down to get some sleep. Great location sadly let down by poorly maintained room. Also when booked it was advertised as including a grab and go continental breakfast however when we arrived we were told this was charged at £5.00 a head. The room should not be advertised as a superior room and charged a further premium over the standard when it is this poorly maintained with this many issues.

Whilst I was concerned about the bar next door it was actually the inconspicuous bar and restaurant round the corner (and underneath the hotel) that had a dj playing until 2am on Friday night. We were two floors above it so can’t imagine what it was like on the first floor! The hotel itself was fine - nothing special but clean and comfortable. The Reception staff were polite and helpful.

Arrived booked in straight away guy on the desk very nice and friendly. Room has everything you need very clean comfy bed great double glazing had a perfect night's sleep. Very enjoyable stay.

Great stay and excellent location
Great location . Friendly staff and comfortable room. Didn’t try breakfast and the pub next door ( slaughterhouse) offered a really nice mini breakfast - was recommended by hotel staff . Forgot to mention some loose floor tiles (room 201) in bathroom . Thought bathroom mirror a little far from sink and did have visions of ringing bell and being locked out if we came back late - though this was not the case .

Property is in the heart of the city so walking around was very easy. There is no parking available at the hotel so had to part off site and taking luggage to the hotel was an inconvenience. There is no food available at the hotel but there were enough places around so was not an issue.

Good location for Albert Docks and Mersey and Cavern Club area. Also very large shopping area close by. Hotel building is quite old and has no in house breakfast/dining/bar facilities but this is in an area with a huge amount of eateries for all tastes. I would definitely use it again if visiting Liverpool.

Nice but noisy
The hotel was nice, and the staff were really friendly. However, it was very noisy throughout the night. We tried to book in a quieter spot in the city but understand people walking past and being loud can’t be helped. Large bottle bins were emptied at 6.30am right next to the window on Saturday morning which was too loud to sleep though. Other than the noise it was a good location.
