Not sure if Hotels.com messed up or the hotel, but they gave away my room because I didn’t prepay (I elected to pay at the hotel). My reservation was on their interface for Hotels.com but they said it wasn’t “confirmed.” Fortunately, they had a couple of cancellations. I didn’t get the room I booked, but at least I wasn’t forced to find other lodging. The room needed better cleaning. The carpet make my feet blacken, and the comforter had dried bits of food on it. Half the lights didn’t work and the toilet kept running unless you fiddled with the handle. The staff were nice and friendly, but more attention to housekeeping is needed.
