much better than expectation
Nice dinner in the restaurant and also good breakfast. Very clean and comfortable bed. Only problem for "me" is the location a little bit far from the Antwerp.

Great hotel and amazing breakfast
Very nice large hotel with all amenities, within short driving distance of Antwerp. If you would rather stay out of town and enjoy a hotel with spa, swimming pool, 3 restaurants, a very large kids outdoor play are and free car park, then the Van der Valk Beveren is the place to go. Check-in staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was modern, spacious and well furnished, the water pressure in the bathroom perfect for a nice shower after a long day of sightseeing. We had dinner at Ozzo, their Asian - sushi restaurant, and although service was a bit slow due to a very busy Saturday night, the food was of high quality. But the high point of our 1-night stay was breakfast. The quality and choice is something I have never seen anywhere in my long years of travelling: a large variety of breads and sweet pastries, cold sandwich spreads and salads, cheeses and cold cuts, hot foods (including freshly cooked fried eggs). If ever a hotel wanted to send their clients on their way feeling good, this certainly did it. On our way out, we were already thinking about what else we could visit in the region just so we could stay here again.

Beautiful Hotel close to Antwerp
This is a beautiful hotel close to Antwerp. We stayed here for our anniversary and received a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel had also decorated our room with balloons, chocolates, and a card. The facilities are excellent, including a great swimming pool, and the staff were amazingly helpful. Highly recommended

Beveren Hotel Gets Even Better
We have stayed in this hotel about four times. It continues to impress and get better. Everything is well-done and satisfying. This is a really pleasant place close to Antwerp, but in the country.

Received an old room with mold in the bathroom. Gladly the front desk was helpful enough to change my room to a newer room which was good.

There is a lot of like about this hotel, the service is exceptional, and they offer a comfortable stay for us and our dog. The range of TV channels in the room was a bonus, and the room facilities were pretty good, and spacious too in the new block. We were quite impressed with the Jardin restaurant, we preferred it to The nest. It was a good base for us to explore Ghent and Antwerp from. However, the areas that let it down are the location, it is not a pretty setting, next to a train line, large electricity pylons and right next to a large busy road. Nothing very easily in walking distance. We found the drain in our shower quite smelly at times, which is a shame as the block is quite new. And while spacious and well equipped, the style of the rooms was a little stark for our taste save for a random large lion picture, but this is a personal preference. There is a 'dog tax' if you like, but unlike most other hotels nothing is provided for that fee, no dog bowls or bedding in our room.

Zeer lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. De kamer was wat verouderd (niet zoals op de foto's) en niet zo grondig gekuist, maar wel zeer ruim met een goed bed. Fijn dat er een zwembad aanwezig is met lange openingstijden.

Bon restaurant et petit déjeuner. Malheureusement l’aile à gauche de l’accueil est en travaux et ceci meme le samedi matin. Les chambres sont spacieuses mais très mal insonorisées d’autant plus sur l’hôtel tolère et laisse faire les clients très bruyants. Sommes rentrés de notre week-end épuisé par le manque de sommeil.

Fint og godt hotel
Vores første overnatning på vej på ferie var virkelig god, sød og venlig personale. Værelset var virkelig godt. Maden var god og der var en masse for børn fordi det var weekend. Super rent og virkelig godt til prisen. Deres morgen mad var også god. Vores 2 nat på vej hjem fra ferie var en nogwt anden oplevelse! Vi betalte for deres V.I.P værelse da vi tænkte det ville være pengene værd. Det var det ikke! Personalet var ikke specielt venlige. Der manglede en opredning som var på det værelse vi havde sovet på ved udrejse. Men på vej hjem fik vi fortalt af en mugge sur medarbejdere at vi skulle betale 30 euro! For en opredning og den ikke var med i prisen fordi vi hsvde bestilt igennem hotel.com På intet tidspunkt da vi bestilte, blev vi gjort opmærksomme på at der ville blive opkrævet ekstra for at vi kunne sove 3. Da de så kom med sengen 2 medarbejdere var den ene mega sur og stod og skældte ud på ikke engelsk. Den anden var venlig og sød. Her til kom at selvom det er deres V.I.P værelse sksl du stadigvæk betale for morgenmad. Så vælger du det her hotel, så køb et af deres alm værelser, de er super gode og der er en opredning med i prisen . Du for ikke meget ekstra på deres dyrer værelser. Alt i alt vil jeg dog stadig anbefale dette hotel da det er en fint hotel til prisen. Maden er også virkelig god.

We verbleven 1 nachtje in het hotel. Prima. Ontbijtbuffet was zeer uitgebreid en ontzettend lekker. Dagje naar de mooie stad Gent en Antwerpen geweesr. Beide prima te doen vanaf het hotel.

Nice and clesn room. Fantastic swimming pool and wellness area. However in house 8 the noise from the nearby train is disturbing and loud.
