This place is located in a great area with easy access to food and shops. The lake is a minute walk with lots to do around the area. The hotel itself is old but well kept. The rooms were nice, clean and included some toiletry essentials. The mini bar items were all quite cheap - approx $1usd so we had plenty of drinks/snacks. The rooftop bar was really nice- drinks were good and the food was tasty too. We had a group of 7 and were all pleased with what we ordered - from American to local dishes. The best thing about this place is the staff. They are all so nice and friendly - from the front desk to the dining and wait staff - they definitely helped make the stay more enjoyable. Tip: Using them to book the taxi made it easy for us - approx $25usd from the airport. Someone was waiting for us with a sign when we got out of customs. Made it nice not having to worry about transportation when we first arrived.

This hotel was our favorite in Hanoi! We stayed at other hotels for the same price, and weren't nearly as good as this one. The room was clean, tidy, quiet and comfortable. The hotel was within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, market and Hoan Kien Lake. The breakfast had SO many delicious options, including vegetarian choices. In addition, the staff was helpful, cordial, kind and professional! We highly recommend this hotel!

This was our favourite hotel in our two weeks in Vietnam. The staff were amazing - helpful, courteous and sincere. the rooms were nicely decorated, fairly spacious and the mattress very comfortable. We could walk anywhere for both sightseeing and souvenir shopping. A hidden gem.

Upon first impression as you walk in the Lobby, the environment is about service. The Staff, Amenities, Spa, Restaurant and Bar are all at your service. Great knowledge and support in whatever you might have planned or still need to figure out. Need a place for your luggage before you check in or while you make a transfer during your stay. It was available and helpful for no cost. Great views from the top deck of the surrounding city and 2 blocks from the lake (central hub of the Old Quarter). Definitely recommend staying here again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with arranging transportation and local recommendations. Check-in was an easy process. A great rooftop bar and restaurant gave you a great view of the city. And 2 blocks from the lake made it accessible to numerous activities.

Nice little hotel in the Old Quarter
Really nice hotel close to the lake in the Old Quarter, nice breakfast too. Bed was very comfortable and the cleaners did a great job working around when I was out. All the staff at the hotel tried very hard to make it an enjoyable stay. Special thanks to Jimmy and Jenny who I spoke to the most but everyone at the hotel were great.

The entire staff is super awesome and excellent hospitality.! Breakfast is excellent! The hotel is small but is very morden, the room is clean and comfortable. Definitely would recommend this lovely hotel and we'd stay here again for our next visit Ha Noi.

Great staff. Grace at the front desk was very competent and kind on her approach to us. We had an incident with the bathroom cleanliness and it was solve properly and expediently. The facilities are great and breakfast is served with a view on the top floor. The spa service is also very good with competent personnel.

Excellent property. The staff is super friendly. Lily, at the front desk, made our stay very special. I mentioned in passing that it was my wife’s Bday and next thing I know there was a cake, candles, and staff singing happy birthday to her.

Friendly staff, well located, comfortable hotel
The team at La Nueva are keen to take the best care possible of their guests. Rooms are well equipped with good bed linens, nice bathrooms and comfy bathrobes. All appreciated for a well priced hotel. Breakfast is excellent and the sky bar is fun. The staff are the real difference though. They went above & beyond in all departments to make our stay a good one. Friendly, courteous, helpful and kind. Jimmy is doing a fine job managing this hotel, best of luck guys.

What a fantastic stay! The team went above and beyond; flexible and always putting the customer first. Incredible welcoming hotel and experience in central Hanoi. First off the staff were so welcoming, friendly and attentive! Jenny was a fantastic host and welcomer offering us tea and chocolates as we arrived. She ensured our rooms were ready and well prepared and we had directions and names of all the best restaurants. Thank you so much. Id also like to thank the bellman. He was attentive, so kind and moved our bags round relentlessly. His english was fantastic and he was so helpful. The hotel is modern, clean and well designed. Rooms are large, comfy and have everything you need including tv with netflix, snacks and aircon. Overall, I'd highly recommend a stay here and hope to be back again soon

Good hotel, excellent breakfast, rcommend it.
PROS: Location: wonderful. Near cafe and restaurants. Walking distance to Beer Street and Hang Bac street (where all money exchange shops are). Literally 3 minutes walk to water puppet show and Hoàn Kiếm lake. Very close to French quarter. We even walked to train street, temple of literature and Chợ Đồng Xuân market from our hotel. Although close to everything, it was still quiet enough for good sleep. Breakfast: was great with individually cooked eggs, pho (Vietnamese beef noodle soup), fruits, sushi, sweets, yogurt, and drinks. View of restaurant was high up and nice (12th floor). Service: fantastic and prompt. The welcome drink was a nice touch. Room: had many amenities: slipper, robes, laundry service (for a fee), mini bar items for purchase etc. CONS: Room conditions: a bit outdated compared to pictures. Our only window was facing the white walls of the next building so it didn't feel like we had any window at all. Room felt generally dark. Wifi: had many interruptions and was on and off for us. Overall, good hotel for the price we paid and for the excellent breakfast and service.

Friendly staff, willing to help out with any queries you might have. Hotel itself is very close to all the usual places to see. All of the tours we did was also willing to pick us up at the hotel rather than having to go to a meet up point

Gem in Hanoi Old Quarter
The beds were comfortable and clean. Breakfast spread was good and the pho was delicious. The Estrella Sky Bar was cozy and offered good prices during happy hours. The staff were amazing going extra miles to please us. I shall return when I visit Hanoi in future.

A gem in Old Quater Hanoi
The team of staff from front desk to housekeeping plus bell boys were excellent. Jenny and Jimmy were most helpful. They attended to all our requests expeditiously. The location of the hotel was excellent with good restaurants and cafe. I would definitely come back to this hotel for my next visit.

Este pequeño Hotel Boutique es hermoso, el lugar perfecto para vacacionar en Hanoi. Esta localizado en la mejor area de la ciudad, con mil cosas que hacer a la mano. Pero lo mas importante de este hotel es: su gente ! El staff desde mi llegada me hicieron sentir especial, Grace me recibió con una bebida de cortesia, fruta, toalla humeda para refrescarme, un mapa, y un check in super rapido. Despues Grace amablemente me acompaño hasta mi habitacion y respondio mis preguntas acerca de la ciudad. El staff en el restaurante es super amable, Tracy me mostro en mi mesa como se prepara el cafe en Vietnam y hasta me regalo una maquina de cafe !!! la verdad me hicieron sentir en casa ! siempre regresare a este hotel ! Ah y Jimmy, espectacular !! gracias Jimmy por tu ayuda !

Our stay at La Nueva Boutique Hôtel was fantastic! The room was comfortable, and the entire staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to make our help comfortable and enjoyable. The bar on the rooftop is a very nice addition. We’ll definitely return and stay there again. The location is great with easy access to the old quarter. Highly recommend!
