Even the locals choose this place
This is an experience! Amazing bit of Santa Fe celebrity history. A former party house that saw the likes of Ansel Adams, DH Lawrence, Willa Cather, Georgia O'Keeffe among many others. Quirky yet refined, walking distance to downtown and the Roundhouse, sociable or meditative if desired. Beds and furnishings soo comfortable. It is an adventure you'll remember.. Alex and Dan were wonderful hosts! The breakfasts were very, very good and we really enjoyed getting to meet other guests during breakfast and again in the evening when wine was available in the living room. The grounds were absolutely beautiful although we didn't get to spend a lot of time outside since it was unusually chilly this time of year. But we're planning on coming back when it's warmer. We really had a great time and are looking forward to our next stay!

Superb B&B
We stayed three nights at the inn. Great place. Rooms are very nicely decorated and comfortable. Breakfast has a good selection of items, and prepared meal very tasty. And if you did not like the day’s prepared item, they would just cook you anything else - great! Super Place to get into contact with other people, we enjoyed two evening to chat with others during the wine hour. Great host and colleague, great to chat with and very helpful. If you like B&B places, this is a great one.

A great stop on the journey
The Inn of the Turquoise Bear was a great stop on our road trip from Phoenix to Denver. We can’t say enough about the hospitality, the food, and the stay in general. All very close to the plaza in the middle of Santa Fe. Do yourself a favor and stay there.

Quaint B&B within walking distance of downtown
We really enjoyed our stay at the Turquoise Bear. From the moment we arrived, Alex was friendly and helpful in making sure we enjoyed our stay. He provided lots of information on the area and recommended a great restaurant! Loved the landscaped grounds, the peaceful location, and the decorations in the room. Wine was provided in the evening... so there's that :-) Breakfast was hearty and fantastic. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to the Santa Fe area.

An Oasis In The City
Dan and Alex are great hosts and make delicious breakfasts with plenty of options each morning. Their location is great for walking down to the plaza (about 15 minute walk) and yet far enough from the hustle and bustle to make sitting out in one of their many relaxing locations fun. Our room was very clean and comfortable with free wifi, water bottles, as well as coffee, tea, and baked goods available in the dining area during the day and evenings.

My Husband and I stayed at the Inn for my birthday, and the staff was so accommodating and nice! They even had arranged for a birthday cake and bottle of champagne to be in our room upon our arrival. I loved every moment, we will definitely be back!

Lovely place to stay, especially if you like historical buildings. This one is on the National Register of historical placed. There is no elevator, so plan accordingly when selecting a room. The breakfasts were wonderful and the rooms comfortable and nicely decorated. Very quiet, peaceful place, yet still close enough to the Plaza.

Best stay in Santa Fe
If you are visiting gorgeous Santa Fe and not staying at Inn of the Turquoise Bear, you are missing out on part of the Santa Fe experience. This historic building visited by artists and poets in the past is amazing in and of itself but then you add the amazing breakfast and wonderful service provided by Dan and Alex and you have an experience to remember. We will be returning to Santa Fe in the near future and plan to stay here again!

Experience Santa Fe in style and comfort!
The Inn is a perfect getaway spot for Santa Fe! Beautiful, historic, and well-appointed, it is a short walk to the main Plaza: shops, restaurants, and galleries. Owner Dan and Manager Alex take good care of you, and really help with things to see, places not to be missed. Breakfasts are top-notch, with local New Mexico flare and flavor. If you want to experience New Mexico, specifically Santa Fe at its finest, treat yourself to the Inn of the Turquoise Bear!

Beautiful Inn
This was my first time staying in a bed breakfast. It was the best experience ever and I will definitely not only return here but try more bed and breakfast in other places I visit. Let me say the home itself is just magical! I love historic homes and appreciate the great condition it is in and I loved feeling like I lived there. The breakfast every morning is wonderful and it was more than great to have access to water, fruit and pastries, tea, coffee all day! Lastly, the garden... that's what made it all so magical. Loved it!

Marvelous Cozy Inn in Charming Downtown
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Turquoise Bear. It was characterful, cozy and comfortable and we were within easy walking distance to the vibrant downtown and plaza. We slept well and ate well and enjoyed the company of other guests at breakfast and found Dan a gracious host. The pancakes and Mexican chocolate smoothies were delicious and we hope to be back soon.

暖炉が嬉しいログハウス的サンタフェスタイル
お部屋毎にアーチストの名前がついています。ジョージア・オキーフの部屋には泊まれませんでしたが、ダウンタウンから徒歩15分位の位置なのに自然に囲まれてリラックスできました。ミュージアム・ヒルまでも散歩がてら歩こうと思えば歩けます（30分位）。部屋の暖炉、庭のハンモック等ログハウス調の楽しみを満喫できます。朝ごはんの時に宿泊客達とのコミニュケーションも良い思い出に。ただしホテル内にて昼夜は食事がとれないので徒歩10分位のスーパーやダウンタウンにて買い物や食事をおすすめします。
