Pablo in the buffet restaurant was personable, informative and attentive. He was a great server. The breakfast omelette chef was fantastic and a delight to see in the morning. She was super friendly and smiley.
The women on the front desk were unwelcoming and unfriendly. They didn’t ask how our stay was or thank us for staying with the hotel upon check out. There was one late night gentleman on the front desk who was welcoming and pleasant.
The room was relatively clean; however, the phone did not work and the bellman who identified it said it would be fixed and it never was. The connecting door to the next room was very thin and had a large gap under it. We could clearly hear the people in the next room. On March 1st, we had our privacy sign up; however, someone removed it and they knocked on the door to do inventory. We identified the broken phone, but he didn’t seem to care. We requested a new privacy sign which he provided; however, it was missing when we came back later the same day.
Having worked in hotels for over 10 years, I understand the challenges of running a hotel. In general, the hotel was ok and we would stay there again.
