Mooie locatie met natuur zwembad! Dichtbij Addo NP. Leuk en schoon huisje! Heel leuk verblijf incl community ruimte, gratis water etc. Er is verder niets te doen omheen en zelfs wat gevaarlijk vanwege townships. Je merkt hier echter niks van bij African Home! Restaurant en excursies zijn prijziger dan op het Addo park…

Spacious Family-Room (Vasco da Gama); excellent beds and linnen; lovely tea- and coffee facilities. Excellent on-site-restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We would stay again!

Leuke Afrikaanse lodge
Super leuke logde in Afrikaanse stijl. Behulpzaam personeel. Dicht bij de ingang van Addo Elephant Park. Wij zijn hier drie nachten geweest en hebben iedere ochtend genoten van het heerlijke ontbijt dat de kok voor je klaarmaakt. Wij verbleven in een familie huisje met een separate slaapkamer voor de kinderen.

This is a true home from home. We loved everything about Addo African Home and would definitely come back. The staff is very helpful, the rondavel, where we stayed, was clean, practical and the bed was very comfy. Also the restaurant and hospitality were amazing.

Belle hôtel typique et échelle restaurant
Très bien! Le prix pour le safari est élevé mais cela peut valoir le coup. Le restaurant est très bon et les vins sont agréables. Le personnel et le propriétaire sont très serviables.

Highly recommend if visiting Addo Elephant Park
Absolutely charming lodge on a lovely lush property with amazing host. Our room was extremely tastefully and beautifully decorated (we got a free upgrade as it was not so busy - thank you a lot for that :-) ), good food in the restaurant and overall a very great vibe. Would definitely recommend if one visits Addo Elephant Park. We also did the Addo day safari organised by the lodge and had a superbe day!

Toller moderner Aufenthalt in traditionellem Stil
Super moderne Unterkunft in traditionellem Stil. Die Zimmer sind modern und stylsich eingerichtet. Die Mitarbeiter waren super freundlichen, man hat sich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Das Abendessen im Restaurant war sehr gut, auch hier muss man wieder den tollen Service erwähnen. Rundum ein toller Aufenthalt.

Waren heel blij met de accommodatie alles goed verzorgd. additioneel nog ontbijt en avondeten op hoog niveau bij restaurant van accommodatie gegeten. we hebben ook een safari geboekt en zijn daar erg over te spreken. aanrader!

Charming country escape
Being out in the South African countryside was never going to be a 5 star experience but Addo African Home had its charms. Great people with excellent service, beautiful grounds. The rooms were decent but could have been cleaner and more updated. They provide water and tea daily for free. The restaurant is really good with fresh and super affordable options. The organic pool is basically a pond. We had a nice stay here.

Sehr schönes Hotel in der Nähe des Addo Elephant National Parks... hatten eine "Rundhütte", die sehr komfortabel und geschmackvoll eingerichtet war... es fehlte an nix!!! Sehr gerne wieder!!! Empfehlenswert auch die Safari durch den Addo Elphants National Park... buchbar als Ganztages- oder Halbtages-Tour!!! Diese geht direkt am Hotel los...

Der Empfang war sehr nett! Zimmer und Bad sehr dunkel, von der Ausstattung sehr einfach gehalten. Das zugehörige Restaurant ist sehr schön und das Essen schmeckt super, nur die Auswahl könnte vielseitiger sein. Zum Addo Elefantenpark ist es mit dem Auto ca 10 Minuten!

The stuff is super friendly and professional. We slept very well in the Rondavel and had a gorgeous supper in the restaurant. We can also highly recommend the Safari in Addo. There is a well equipped community kitchen (incl. fridge per unit) and braai (bbq). The natural swimming pool is a nice spot to relax, too!

This place is amazing. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant has great food. We had a wonderful full day tour of Addo with Alan. He went out of his way to show us animals and was very knowledgeable. We stayed in the lodge and I had a very nice room and use of kitchen. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back someday.

Unieke accommodatie! Het is leuk om te slapen in de rondavel. Het verblijf biedt verschillende activiteiten aan om te doen. Tip! Ga zeker op game drive! Fantastisch! Het restaurant is geweldig, zowel voor ontbijt als diner. Buiten het verblijf om is minder te beleven.

Unser absoluter Liebling als Unterkunft
Traumhafte, weitläufige, artenreiche Anlage, schick und orginell eingerichtet mit einem entspannten, fairen Ambiente und das Essen im Molololo war extremst lecker (Französischer Koch betreibt dort eine Kochschule). Von den sechs Unterkünften, die wir in SA hatten und trotz durchweg guter Erfahrungen und somit toller Konkurrenz, zweifelsohne die Nummer eins auf unser Hitliste! Jederzeit wieder mit unseren Kids! Toller Ausgangspunkt für den Addo NP (gleich um die Ecke) und den angebotenen Picknick-Korb zum Mitnehmen dorthin, können wir auch empfehlen.

Omgeving en plek zelf supermooi, ook de binnengelegenheid voor koken en koffie zetten is fantastisch. Echt een plus. Horeca ook heel erg goed.

- sehr guter Service, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal - top Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis - sauberes Zimmer - Möglichkeit zu grillen, kleines "Kiosk" mit Getränken und Fleisch - wir hatten wegen dem niedrigen Preis Bedenken, Unterkunft war zwar einfach, aber sehr gemütlich, absolut zu empfehlen! Die Anlage und die Unterkunft ist für den Preis in Ordnung. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr gut, allerdings ist der Service sehr schlecht. Das Personal ist überhaupt nicht organisiert. Die Preise sind für Leistung im Verhältnis hoch.
