Smells of the 1980s. Dated but comfortable. Didn't see any staff the entire time we were there. Shower door was broken and judging by other reviews has been for some time. Very expensive for what it is

Room was clean, nice bathroom. I didn’t realise it was next to a graveyard, but is was a short walk to the beach. No face washers, only towels. No book or brochures in room for local eats and attractions

Not a Paradise
Disappointed with bed on our first night asked to be moved which was arranged straight away. Unlikely to book here again.

No one at reception from check in to check out. I had to ring to find out our room was open. Room looked like it hadn’t been touched since the 70’s including the linen, fridge rattled and groaned all night keeping us awake, also only one bowl in cupboard for breakfast, cupboard door hanging off. The bathroom had been renovated but there was faeces on the wall behind the toilet door.

Short walking distance to beach/shops. Neat n tidy for a 3 star older style accommodation. Next time I’ll remember to bring own milk/ tea/coffee etc, great little kitchenette with full size fridge. Expensive for budget accommodation over Easter weekend .

Nice out of the way spot. Amenities were fine however the toilet seat was broken. Difficult to comment about staff in these times of automatic checkin and checkout.

Over priced and Terrible place to stay. We paid $299 per night .Dirty and very dated, our door was left open with the keys on the bench . The bed was so old and uncomfortable. Very upsetting as this night was booked for a celebration.

I was sent a txt message that the key would be left in the room. Only key was in back door, popped out for pizza and ended up locked out. There was no soap, local information was from last year. Glasses were sticky, cups stuck to saucers,dead bugs on the kitchen bench. Also, we had a view of the cemetery from the balcony. Its a perfectly fine place but needs a bit more care and if I did stay there again, I would definitely ask for a downstairs room without a view of the cemetery!

Hi Michelle McDonald Thanks for your review The key was next to the tv. When you went out you would of locked the door and taken the key with you. However when you came back you had no key and called us to unlock the door which we did. Regards

Not clean and no one at reception to answer questions or help with anything, like giving you the wifi password. I do not recommend staying here.

Staff went out of their way to be helpful. All locks and door handles were in need of repair. Railings on stairs and balconys were also loose.

Our stay was interrupted by fires, a blackout and a highway that was blocked by the fires. We left a day early because we could get out and the highway was again blocked half an hour after we passed through. This is not a typical review and should not included.

This property was overpriced and tired. Paying $ 225 per night (!!!!) we didn't even receive fresh towels and our bed was unmade. There was broken glass outside our room door from our neighbour and the bathroom had a thick layer of soot over it from the open window. At the very least we though the balcony could've been swept clean of leaves, a garbage bag put in the kitchen tidy area and the verandah table wiped over. The lampshades next to the bed were rickety and almost falling apart. For the amount we paid I feel ripped off and very poor value for money.

The room was fine. It was clean and tidy. I just felt that the staff could have been more helpful. I don 't think tbat there was any staff on the premises and as I was late checking in amd checked out early I didn't see anyone.

Disappointing
All contact with reception was with someone who lived 40 minutes away. There was no shampoo or conditioner for guests, nor could we have any extra milk capsules because no one was at reception. Apart from that the room was quiet, clean and comfortable.

Try somewhere else
We left our booking till late so didn’t have many options when we booked to stay here. There is a note in the kitchen that says you must wash your own cups/plates etc or be charged extra, that’s ok, but no tea towel to dry with, only 1 teaspoon in the room ( which has beds for 3) only 2 glasses and very limited cooking utensils etc. There was no hand towel in the bathroom, but worse than that, the toilet seat was broken so you had to balance carefully so it didn’t slide off! The room wasn’t clean, we moved the lounge and it hadn’t been vacuumed underneath for ages. The room was tiny, which was fine if the other issues weren’t so bad.

Conv enient for wedding at golf club
Ok. Some rubbish left in room. Packets of tablets ( unknown). Bathroom door needed some attention.. Generally ok.3star i guess..
