Hi Daniel. We're sorry to hear there were some aspects of your stay you did not enjoy. The hotel finds itself in an excellent location, with the nearest and most well-known beach just a 5 minute bus ride or 15 minute walk away and some of the best restaurants next door / a few blocks away. We're sorry to hear you had to deal with that noise. While there are a few rooms closer to the street, the majority of our rooms are in the heart of our jungle garden which borders the national park. We have plenty of wildlife spotting, including monkeys, agoutis, kinkajous, etc, everyday. From all of the deluxe rooms, standard bungalows, and double deluxe rooms located within the hotel there is mostly silence, apart from the chirping of toucans and the occasional howl from the howler monkeys, but no cars or buses can be heard.For those who stay in the street-view rooms, please know that the buses do not transit after 10:00 PM and drivers are respectful and do not honk in the area. Next door to the hotel is another hotel and in front of that there is a well-known airplane restaurant, but each place is spacious and sufficiently far enough to have peace and privacy.
