While I understand you get what you pay for, this property wasn't worth the savings. Regardless of what the post says, there is no shuttle or roll away beds. The guy at the front desk was super nice when I checked in, but not so nice later in the day when I requested a room change.
When we checked in our first room was musty and the air conditioner didn't work. It was clear that the property had been flooded more than once by the smell. The bottom few inches of the bathroom door had been cut off. I also suspect there were bedbugs because I had gotten a couple small bites on my elbow, but I can't say for sure that's what it was.
I asked to switch rooms because flat out we would never be able to sleep in the first. The second room had AC, but the cable didn't work, not all of our devices could find the wi-fi, and worst of all there were six "water bugs" (that's what we call the gi-hugic roaches that crawl in through the pipes) twitching on the floor the next morning. Thankful they weren't alive and running around. Had to quickly dispose of them before my daughter saw them because she would totally freak out.
I did hear power tools down the hall at night, so it seemed to us that the property owners were trying to fix things, and I wish them well. This place is in a great location, but needs a TON of work.
Also, requested a late check-out and was charged $25.00 to stay for two hours. Kind of steep considering the cost of the room.
