Nice room, clean. Great service by staff, friendly. Some exterior remodeling going on, but nothing that took away from stay. Would stay here again. Good location for proximity to campus, restaurants, etc

In town for weekend for game Although all hotels gouge their price for game weekends, this hotel’s distance from University of Alabama and its overall condition and age of hotel is not with the price. There are two relatively newer hotels that are cleaner and nicer on both sides of the Fairmont. If we had known this we would have booked either of those hotels. Will not rebook at this hotel over the next three years visiting our student.

Very convenient to Univ of Alabama and food and shops. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Very disappointed the indoor pool was closed “for cleaning”. Saw no one working on it. Front desk was clueless. I expect this from Days Inn, not from Marriott.

A/c was not properly working in lobby and dining area. Room itself smelled musty like it needed to a good dehumidifier. Staff was professional and competent. Good communication skills.

Noisy. Some people were in the parking lot having a party until the early morning hours. The people down the hallway were having a party. Lots of loud voices, could not sleep.

Hotel was nice and staff very friendly. Comfortable bed with an extra pillow and micro/fridge in room. Great area with other hotels nearby. Will stay again if in the area.

The young lady at the desk (and I’m sorry I can not recall her name) was extremely friendly even though she had just concluded working with a difficult guest. Very accommodating. The room is clean, the carpet appears new, and the bed is very comfortable!
