The view and the cleanliness is amazing. The staffs were nice but very low energy (front office staffs) in welcoming the guests.

Balcony has nice view of the port, prefect for morning coffee. Walking distance to the market. Free admission to the hot spring(5mins walk, outside hotel)

Great to have access to a pool. Greeat view off tbe balcony. Wonderful soaker tub. We really enjoed all the variety of breakfast food.

The property was fine the staff were beyond helpful they called us a cab, hauled our bags in and were very nice. The surrounding area though was a mess though, overgrown vacant buildings and generally abandoned looking. Not sure if it’s more active and taken care of in summer. The theme park was decent for small kids.

Amazing Stay with Marina City Hotel. We able to experience Onsen which given complimentary to the hotel guests but for kid need to pay. Walking distance to the Market & theme park

Marina city stay
The people at this hotel were super nice. They walked us up to show us our room and set it up Nicely for 3 people. The room was really clean and the bathroom was huge. We had a balcony which had a nice view of the marina. I would say the only downside is the beds were super hard. Like so hard it made it hard to sleep and the pillows were super flat The area is kinda quite. There is the Onsen and porta Europa but not much more in the area. All the other things to do in wAkayama are about an hour away.

Great ocean and marina views
Loved the sunset from balcony over ocean and bathtub with view of ocean. 45 min drive to KIX and fun to jog sea wall.

Awesome sea view, good location and facilities
We have booked Balcony twin room for 2 nights and drive there from Kansai Airport. We enjoy the beautiful sea view at high floor. Staff is very nice and helpful. We prefer Balcony room but no non-smoking room is available. The staff helps deodorize and clean the room completely. The room has no smoking smell and no cigarette left in the room. Air purifier is also provided to refresh the air and smell, we much appreciate it. The location is good if you drive, less than 20mins to Wakayama city and about 1 hour to Shirahama. There are enough parking spaces for free. Beside the competitive room rate, this hotel also gives us onsen entry admission for free. We can enjoy the onsen during our stays.
