매우 훌륭한 하지만 너무 먼 에스쿠 잘루
2박3일 숙박했고 전반적으로 매우 훌륭한 서비스를 경험했습니다. 특히 레스토랑 음식의 질은 유럽 상급 레스토랑에도 뒤지지 않는다고 생각합니다. 5성급 호텔에 어울리는 훌륭한 서비스였습니다. 다만 잔지바르의 낙후된 사회경제적 환경이 이 훌륭한 호텔에 대한 접근성을 저해하고 있습니다. 잔지바르의 교통 인프라는 매우 낙후되어 잔지바르 공항에서 이 호텔을 연결하는 정기적인 대중교통수단은 없다시피 합니다. 에어컨을 켜주는 택시를 탈 수 있으나 차량이 낡았고, 호텔에서 공항까지의 교통편을 제공하긴 하나 엄청나게 비싼 요금을 지불하여야 합니다. 또한 주변 눙위 마을 주민들의 생활도 매우 열악하여, 호텔의 럭셔리한 서비스와 극과 극의 대조를 보입니다. 눙위 해변은 매우 아름다우나 눙위 마을에서는 관광으로 즐길만한 것들이 거의 없다고 봐도 됩니다. 에스쿠 잘루 호텔은 누추한 잔지바르 섬 안에서도 환상적인 경험을 제공하는 섬과 같습니다. 호텔에 가기는 멀고 불편합니다. 하지만 만약 당신이 호텔에 갈 수 있다면 분명 만족할 거라고 생각합니다.

Staff were excellent, property was incredible, food was really good. Short distance from Nungwi beach. Highly recommend this place, view is fabulous. The shop onsite is very expensive with limited choice but overall 5*.

My only issue was that we were not told that we needed to pay for seafood despite that we had half board. I was surprised on check out that l was billed.

Amazing stay
Lovely hotel, huge room very comfortable, amazing swimming pool, delicious food. It was quiet at the hotel, we used the spa twice which was amazing, and the service was great - everyone amazing at their jobs!

Stay was okay. But price was too high for service received. Dinner options were limited and buffet dinner only included water. Drinks were extra charge. Price should’ve been about $200/night rather than $400/night.

It’s a pathetic hotel . The service level is bad , there were no shampoos inside , dental kit was available next day . Approach to the hotel is worst , the roads are bad . You need 15 mins to travel 2 km.

Nous avions rêvé de ce moment en lisant les revues.Malheureusement , pas à la hauteur de nos esperances. Je vais être factuel Positif: - tres belle piscine a l’eau de mer avec une superbe vue - certains serveurs et serveuses sont adorables - petit dej sympa - chef de la restauration top Negatif : - pas d’eau chaude pour la douche, même apres avoir changé de chambre au bout de 5 jours de plainte: ne pas prendre les chambres vue mer ou front de mer: pb connu qu’ils font mine de découvrir. Merci au technicien pour sa transparence. - pas sustainable : consignes de l’hotel : laisser couler l’eau pendant 15 minutes pour avoir de l’eau chaude. Nous en avons fait l’expérience une fois et cela n’a pas marché - service tres lent - petite route qui donne acces a l’hôtel complètement detruite. Les chauffeurs mettent env. une dizaine de minutes pour la traverser - pas de plage: une navette est proposee toutes les 3 heures pour aller dans des plages voisines Bref, apres avoir passe un safari magnifique avec eau chaude, douche froide a zanzibar! Je n’y retournerai pas et je ne valide pas son nombre d’etoiles

Superb hotel with a relax feeling. Food is simple but outstanding, every meal is different. Staff is super nice and friendly. It is romantic but also family friendly.

Reserved transfer from airport on our arrival but no one was waiting. At one am after midnight, I called the hotel several times but no answer. We had to find a taxi by ourselves. We talked about this problem during our stay to the hotel manager. Simple apologies but no compensation of any sort. On our departure, we reserved transfer back to airport two days in advance but on the day of departure, they don’t find any reservation of transfer on the system and had to wait 45 minutes.

Top für einige Tage
Die Lage des Hotels ist nicht so gut, Anfahrt erfolgt über eine abenteuerliche Piste, zu Fuß in den Kern von Nungwi benötigt man etwa 20 Minuten. Am Hotel gibt es keinen Strand, man kann nur von der Jetty aus ins Wasser und auch nur bei Flut. Alkerdings gibt es 3× täglich einen Shuttlebus zum Kendwabeach (auch ca. 20 Minuten). Das Hotel selbst hat eine tolle Architektur, der Zustand ist top. Unsere Suite war schön eingerichtet, sauber und komfortabel. Service war uneinheitlich, Empfang und Zimmerservice ausgezeichnet, im Restaurant je nach diensttuendem Personal von sehr gut bis miserabel. Mitarbeiterinnen im Spa erschienen uns lustlos, zu unserem Aufenthalt wurde der Fitnessraum umgebaut und war nicht nutzbar, auch andere lärmintensive Bauarbeiten fanden in der Nähe des Pools statt, so dass man dort nicht relaxen konnte. Die Bauarbeiten hätte man ja eigentlich in der Nebensaison machen können! Wir hatten Halbpension, am Essen gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig, zum Abendessen kann man 3 Gänge von der Speisekarte wählen, da war leider manches Gericht aber gerade nicht verfügbar. Seafood muss zur Hälfte bezahlt werden. Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt im Hotel aber gut gefallen.

Such a beautiful hotel! The staff for extremely kind and helpful. Anything you needed they would help you get it or figure it out. The rooms were clean and the views of the garden or the seaside were incredible. I would highly recommend staying at this resort. You won’t be disappointed! Also it’s walking distance to some great activities like the aquarium or the zoo.

To start the hotel is 1.5 hrs drive away from the airport and excursions. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. And the room and views of the ocean was great.. However there is no place to sit on the beach , the food is mediocre, the drinks are expensive , small and watered down. There was one culture night with local dishes and music which was very nice . I did the Masai Ritual with spa treatment , which would have been a greater experience if it was explained to me the difference between having it in “the village ” (which I saw was on the resort, beautiful and private , when I retuned from the poolside to change at the end of my services ) and poolside. I had high expectations due to the cost. And wasn’t able to end my trip on a high note and was disappointed.

L'hotel 5 etoiles est très bien, exception de la qualité des repas du soir, même à la carte. Il faut vraiment demander des plats locaux qui savent faire et très bien - après avoir insister nous avons pu manger des plats excellents de cette belle région ( on pense que leur budget devait être limité pendant cette basse saison ) . Un grand merci au manager 'Omar', qui est vraiment incroyable, tout comme le personnel de tout l'hotel, un plaisir de tous les instants. A refaire oui, mais pour une durée plus limitée ( 5 jours max ), et aller dans un autre région de l'ile. Nous avons passé dix jours sur place, avec des excursions, mais les routes sont souvent des pistes (beaucoup de temps sur route). attention pas de plage directe sur l'hotel, il faut aller à pied via la mer à 10mn. ou navette aussi de l'hotel. attention aux heures de marée.

Property was stunning. Service was excellent, Not much we didn't like but area of improvements would be (i) breakfast buffet - food selection was ok, not much variation day to day and (2) wifi did not work well in some areas on the property. But overall fantastic place that we would definitely recommend and return to.

The hotel was lovely overall and we had a nice time. The pool area is beautiful and gardens beats and tidy. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. Our only criticism would be the lack of variety of food across the two restaurants. When you only have the option of eating there every night, limited number of main meals is not enough. But the buffet night by the pool was a pleasant surprise and very welcomed with lots of variety.

Te dejan todo listo como si fuera de pelicula. Cuando llegas a la habitación antes de cenar... te encuentras el aacc conectado para que estes fresquito. Desayunos Buffett... come hasta que no puedas mas. Pescado fresco para comer. Cenas depende dia tienes Buffett o a la carta. Disfruta y no te preocupes por nada. Lo malo que sólo tenian 3 bicicletas y 2 estropeadas.
