Loved that this property had a self-service laundry. Two older washers and one dryer. You pay the front desk for small tokens to use them. Just outside the gate and around the corner there’s a great outport garden restaurant named Restaurante Can Pepe’s, great service and good food. The water park was closed, not sure why. Breakfast buffet was excellent, but not any gluten free bread items. The snack bar has a good variety of foods (nachos, fedua, gelato, calamari, and gluten free pizza) to order between meals. Conveniently located across the street from the beach. You take stairs and a tunnel to get to beach by going under the train tracks. We could not get a single taxi to take us to Calella. Tried the GiTaxi app, tried calling, had the front desk attendant try- nothing. No taxis available so we walked way too much. Would’ve been nice for Ironman race to offer a shuttle all weekend, as it was the “official race hotel”, which meant nothing but an early Bfast on race morning. The hotel was nice but the distance to the race was not convenient. Stay in Calella for the race.

The aquapark closed for the season on the 24th of September as stated on our website and reopens on the 9th of May 2024.We are an official Ironman hotel offering accomodation near to the race, but unfortunately no other race services are included. We are sorry that you were unable to get a taxi when needed, but it was an extremly busy weekend and the local taxis in Pineda were overloaded with work.We hope to have the pleasure in welcoming you again. Wonderful hotel
I literally cannot fault this hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is lovely with 3 pools, a indoor pool and water park. Right across the road from the beachfront. There are 2 bars and a snackbar and 2 pool bars. The room was cleaned everyday. The restaurant was big and the food was good with a great variety. The snack bar has a good menu if your not all inclusive. The staff were absolutely lovely. Anything you need just ask reception and they will help you. 2 little shops just across the road from thevmain entrance if you need a shop. All around this is a wonderful hotel

A parte il mare, personale maleducatissimo. Abbiamo avuto un problema sanitario e non siamo stati supportati anzi ci hanno fatto pagare invece di essere curato da cittadini europei gratis. Avevamo prenotato perché le recensioni erano positive, non si sono dimostrate tali. La peggior vacanza della nostra vita!

Indoor pool area questionable
Great food, great service. Clean rooms. The jacuzzi and indoor pool need a complete overhaul, or at least a good power wash from top to bottom. They were dingy and the jacuzzi had that foam that was indicative of being poorly kept. Overall I still would return but I would avoid the indoor pool area as a whole.

Staff was not very friendly. When I asked to do late checkout for 1 hour, although there was availability they asked 45 Euro extra for it.

Formidable séjour en famille
Notre séjour c'est très bien passé. L'hôtel est magnifique, le parc aquatique et les piscines au top, l'accueil formidable, les animations et animateurs géniaux et le personnel aux petits oignons. Le seul bémol est le manque de choix et de qualité au niveau du restaurant, rien d'original ni de spécial, de la nourriture simple .

The hotel is a very large complex and in the month of August with high capacity. We feel that the restaurante is open a reasonable amount of time to offer the guests the option to dine earlier or later to avoid queues. The hotel also offers more than the average number of sunbeds and guests are asked not to reserve the sunbeds but to obtain an adequate rotation of use we need the co-operation of fellow guests. Magnifique Hôtel avec beaucoup d animation
Hotel très propre..beaucoup d animation pour les enfants tout au long de la journée. Ma fille a 5 ans..mesure 1m20..elle a pu largement profiter des toboggans pour son age..qui sont déjà largement suffisant pour qu'elle s amuse. Ils y a biensur les toboggan pour adultes. La seul critique c est les touristes eux même qui ne portent pas leurs masques au buffet.je comprend pas comment on peut manquer de respect comme ça.

Un seul point négatif.. le parking.. Nous avons dû nous garer à l'extérieur et amende pour couronner le tout. Pas assez de place pour le nombre de clients. Cependant, rien à signaler sur le personnel, l'établissement, les chambres, l'hygiène, la restauration, les équipements... Tout est au top. A refaire mais avec les enfants cette fois-ci. Hôtel centré sur les enfants, aquapark, activités, loisirs, piscines, jeux d'arcades... Face à la mer, accès à pieds. Activités sportives extérieures... Excellent hôtel. Je recommande fortement.

Bel Hôtel, superbe vue mer et piscine
Chambre double, 1 lit 2 places et 2 lit une place, avec 2 salles de bains, Les matelas sont un peu dure et l’alèse pour la protection du matelas un peu bruyante. Hôtel calme. En cette période de Covid, il est limité à 50% de sa capacité. Port du masque obligatoire dans tout l’établissement, sauf autour de la piscine. Il suffit de traverser la route et la voie de chemin de fer pour accéder à la plage en 5 min. Il manque des place de parking à l'intérieur de l'hôtel.. pas évident de trouver des places libre et non payante à l’extérieur. Les buffets sont copieux et bon avec des produits de base .. viande grillé, poisson, pâtes, pizza ... Par contre les desserts sont excellent, ce qui est rare dans les hôtels Espagnols. 0.5L d'eau pour 1.50€, les mojitos à 8€ ..! . 3 grandes piscine extérieurs, la piscine intérieur était fermée, ainsi que les clubs enfants(covid). Toujours le même problème des serviettes qui restent toute la journée sur les transats sans jamais voir leur propriétaire ! Parc aquatique magnifique, pour les petits et les grands.Bonne animation en journée et en soirée. Personnel très accueillant et sympathique. A refaire

Super hôtel Les infrastructures sont top avec le parc aquatique pour tout les âges Les 3 piscines sont top Mais surtout une agréable surprise concernant les maîtres nageurs ou les animateurs qui sont top ambiance de folie tout les jours Aquagym au top top top Petit déjeuner pour tout les goûts Je recommande Le seul petit bémol le ménage reste à désirer sur la continuité du séjour la poussière n’est pas faite tout les jours ni le lavage des sols Mais dans l’ensemble super hôtel 😁

Recent hotel with nice pools
Very nice hotel with nice pools and games for the kids some activities but not a lot. Which is very close by breakfast buffet can be improved. I don’t know what happened at check-in but it took 45 minutes. They should not charge for the use of safety posit box this is not good for the image of Spain and tourism. Even if it says parking included it has very limited space so be ready to park outside.

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately we have no control over what time the guests arrive at the hotel and at certain times it can be busy in reception, We do our very best to check our guests in as quickly as possible but there is a certain amount of information that we must give expecially this year with covid-19 which slows the process down a little. We have 120 parking spaces which is normally adequate for the size of the hotel. We normally have customers who arive by plane and bus but this year all of our customers are arriving by car, we apologise for any inconvenience. Kind regards, Golden Taurus Team
